The physical existence is nothing to do with the ultimate truth.

Whatever, Scientists are able to monitor the pattern of brain activity through modern scientific equipments are based on the physical self.   The physical self and the physical activities are limited to the physical existence.  The physical existence is nothing to do with the ultimate truth.  The ultimate truth is that which is responsible for creation and sustenance of the physical existence.
The science and its invention are based on believing the physical self and its experience world as reality, whereas, the truth lies beyond physical existence.  Until Scientists discovers, with what the physical body, is able to function itself as a person, and perceives the world, the truth will not be unfolded.  Therefore there is a need to know with what the physical body is able to know itself, because the physical body is not the knower of the physical body. Therefore, there is a need to be aware of the formless knower of the physical body to unfold mystery of the mind.
Until and unless scientists become aware of the fact that, the self is not physical there experiments will not yield any fruit.  The experiment on the physical body and trying to find the truth is like trying to drain the ocean drop by drop.
Until scientists realize the fact that, the gross world is merged into the mental experience in the sense that when it is analyzed, it is found to exist inseparably in and as the mind alone. All "spiritual" planes are really mental: those who regard them as different or higher are taking the physical body and the world as reality.
Since scientists take the birth, life and death as reality, there scientific invention are based on the physical existence, they will not be able to go deeper in this subject, because they cannot cross the threshold of physicality.
The modern equipment can investigate objects within the physical existence but it is impossible to investigate the physical existence as whole i.e. man and the world together.  The whole cannot be investigated with laboratory conditions.  Only through deeper thinking through inquiry, analysis and reasoning the whole has to be investigated.
One has to reach the beyond the physical existence, mentally, and discovers, grasps the fact that, the physical existence is mere mirage created out of single stuff; otherwise he will remain the conviction believing the duality is reality.
Deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning revels the fact that, the self is not physical but it is formless spirit. Therefore, it is erroneous to view and judge the truth on the physical point of view, because the self exists prior to physical existence.  Therefore, it is necessary to view and judge the truth on the standpoint of the base of the spirit, which is the true self.
Religious Philosophies teach that all is self, but none of them can show that this is so. Theirs is mere dogma, parrotism, repetition of what they read in scripture. They cannot prove it.
The truth has to be analysed scientifically with deeper reasoning and arrive at rational proof and gets the ultimate truth i.e.  Non-dual wisdom. Authoritarianism on the base of past inventions or philosophy mere assumptions and hearsay as truth, but the truth has to be proved beyond all the doubts.
Unless one gives up the ideas of the physicality as reality, the ultimate truth is impossible. Ultimate Truth must be proved here and now. If that cannot be done, it is impossible to cross the threshold of duality.  Without knowing the fact that the self is not physical the Self –Knowledge is impossible to assimilate.
The religious and yogic truths are physical truth. The physical truth is an individual truth, not universal truth. The truth of religion can only be proved by physical strength or by imagination, or power of the weapon or political power, never by reason.
The scientists are yet to find mysteries beyond; they hope to discover it in future.” The mystics say: That mystery unknown to science is known to them and Mysticism is the fulfilment of science. The mysticism is also physical based and it is impossible to acquire non-dual wisdom through mysticism.
The mystics cannot experience the whole on the base of the physical body because the body and the world are within the whole.  So how can they prove that they have seen the whole?
Mystics merely assume that they know it from experience.” If mystics experience joy or bliss, they cannot be egoless. The joy or bliss cannot be experienced without the ego.  Whatever is based on ego is physicality.  And if they retain the ego/physical self they cannot know the whole. Without knowing the whole the ultimate truth is impossible to grasp.

The sense of self dissolves when one becomes aware of the true self is not physical but the spirit.

A Gnani is free from all hopes and desires, but outwardly he does what needs to be done. Gnani lives without as if he were full of hopes. He lives contended cool and warm, just like everyone else. Inwardly give up the idea "I am the doer," yet outwardly engage in all activities. He lives in the world; completely conscious of what is truth and what is untruth and what is real and what is unreal in the midst of experience of duality.
The discussions of the ultimate truth on the base of the intellectuality/physicality really don't achieve much in the end. Maybe little shifts in understanding from time to time, but noting really changes until the base of discussion is rectified from form to formless.
The value of discussion based on the true self will help the seekers of truth to dismantle mentally the dualistic and fixed concepts and that is a true benefit like clearing all the accumulated dross.
The sense of self dissolves when one becomes aware of the true self is not physical but the spirit.  And the shifts to be cantered from form to formless and rest in non-dual Awareness.

In over many years of practice and study, people struggle to find stability in non-dual Awareness because their understanding assimilation is based on intellectuality/physicality.
One need to realize the fact that, the intellectuality is physical based whereas the ultimate truth is based on the spirit.  Thus understanding and assimilation has to be based on the spirit, which is the true self. The understanding and grasping the truth on the base of the soul as self will lead to profound insight to all seekers of truth.
In traditional Advaita, the main thing is the mind's deep understanding of truths concerning what one is. Therefore, listening to talks by advanced teachers, analyzing what they say, and dwelling on it are the ways awakening occurs in that system but in pursuit of truth one has to go beyond the Advaita concerning to whole physical existence which contains man and world together and unfolding its mystery.
It is impossible to make the, to make the mind more subtle with any other means other then the deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning to be able to assimilate the self-knowledge.

Thoughts are part of the illusion and thoughts will rise until the illusion is remains as reality

Many think finding the source of the thoughts one becomes aware of the truth and they are not sure what thoughts are and where do they come from. Thoughts are part of the illusion and thoughts will rise until the illusion is remains as reality.  Therefore, seeking truth on the thought oriented   theories will not lead the seeker to know the ultimate truth.
Until and unless one becomes aware of the fact, how or in what way the physical existence is illusion, one will remain in the grip of duality, and base himself on physicality or intellectuality.  The intellectuality is great hindrance in pursuit of truth because it is based on physical self /ego.
There is a need to know the facts about the thought is that; they are arising in duality or illusion. They are absent without the duality.  There is no need to be   curious about what are they and where they come from continues to arise instead find the source of the illusion and the substance of the illusion to unfold the mystery of the mind/physical existence.
As intellectually elegant and edifying all of these discussions of non-duality may be, they don't bring about true liberation because they are based on physicality. One has to mentally grasp the nondual truth to cross the threshold of duality.
Since people mix yoga and karma theory which is based on physicality it becomes difficult for them to understand assimilates the self-knowledge.  If the body is not the self, and the true self is formless, then how the “Kundalini” will work when the self is not the physical body.  If body is not the self, then where one has to trace those chakras in formless self.  If body is not the self   then the karma theory becomes meaningless because the action is part of the illusion.  Therefore, there is a need for deeper understanding the fact to assimilate the nondual truth.
Until one has the conviction that the Self is the body he will remain experiencing the duality as reality. This duality is too powerful to be displaced by simple conversations. It needs deeper thinking and understanding and assimilation to overcome the duality.
One cannot bring the mind to total stillness without understanding “What is mind?”and “What is substance of mind?”.
Yogic practice with correct posture to open the channels that allows the “Kundalini “rise into the sahasrara chakra is not the means to self-knowledge because it is based on the physicality.  When the self is not the physical body, then the yogic practice is not the tool to acquire nondual wisdom. It is mere imagining the nondual nature of the self/soul and gain the time bound blankness of the mind.
