One has to be soul-centric to grasp and understand, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth.

One has to be soul-centric to grasp and understand, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic or Advaitic  truth.  Those whose consciousness is unified abandons all attachment to the results of action and conducts and attains non-dual self-awareness. But those whose desires are fragmented, who are selfishly attached to the results of their work and conducts, are bound in everything they do and remain egocentric. Egocentricity is the cause of experiencing the duality (universe or waking)) as reality.   Experiencing duality (universe or waking) as reality, is accepting the experience of  birth, life, death and the world  as reality.

The nature of truth is to be free from contradictions. One approaches nearer and nearer truth as he finds less and less contradictions. The only thing which is so free is non-dual reality'. This may be achieved at first, in lightning flashes, in fleeting momentary glimpses, but later this must be established into permanency. One should stabilize them through constant reflecting on the nature of the true self, and through the constant reminder that the mind (universe) is not separate from the soul, which is present in the form of  consciousness. The soul or consciousness  is the true self. The nature of the soul is 'I-LESS' . thus holding the self as 'I' blocks one from realizing the universe is unreal. If one holds the universe as unreal then he is holding the experience of birth, life and death which takes place in the unreal world  as reality.  If one holds the birth, life, death and the world as reality then he is not qualified for non- dualistic or Advaitic truth.
The same word, used in similar contexts, cannot carry different meanings with different persons. When one says ‘I’ meaning ‘as his body’, another understands it in the same sense, meaning ‘his body’. But when the other person uses the same word ‘I’, he means ‘his body’, which is entirely different from ‘his body’. But this ‘I’ is not all these. This ‘I’ is the mind. Mind is present in the form of universe. the universe appears as waking or dream and  and disappears deep sleep. When the ‘I,’ appears the mind appears, when ‘I’ disappears the mind disappears. Therefore, ‘I’ is mind.   When the mind (I) is there then there is waking or dream. Absent of mind is absent of waking or dream. Thus, mind has to be considered as the whole waking or dream experience.
Thus, in the case of everyone, the bodies meant are different; but the word used is the same ‘I’, always. So the ‘I’ must mean: either the individual body or it must evidently the mind, which is in the form of whole universe. The latter being the only possible alternative, the ‘I’ must necessarily mean that the universe, which contains everyone and everything and which appears and disappears as mind. This is the real meaning of ‘I’.
The soul, the innermost self ,which is present in the form of  consciousness is not comprehensible because it is the invisible substance and witness of the mind, which is present in the form of universe.  Deeper self-search reveals the fact that, the formless soul ,which is the witness of the three states is  lifting itself above the three states  will prevail as reality. In reality the the formless  witness and the three states are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. Thus there is no second thing exists other then the consciousness.
Focusing one’s attention mentally from the universe(mind)  towards its   source and realizing the fact that, the formless source itself is the soul, the innermost self  and the mind (universe)  is dependent on the consciousness for its existence.  The consciousness can exist with or without the mind (universe) . (Illustration: deep sleep)  there is no second thing other than consciousness because the whole universe is created out of consciousness.
Truth will be revealed only when the seeker  learns to view and judge the worldview on the base of the soul (consciousness) as self. One has to realize the fact that the 'I' is not the self but the formless consciousness is the true self. The consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the universe or mind. It is erroneous to pass a judgment  on the base of the false self or with existing inherited or accumulated knowledge based on the false self.
The past, present and future are within the experience of duality. It is erroneous to seek truth on the base physical entity(ego or waking entity) which is bound by form, time and space. Therefore it is necessary to find the substance from which the mind(universe) rises and subsides.
The individual experience of life is nothing to with truth. On the realm of truth, the birth, life, death and universe or   form, time and space or past present and future are mere mirage.
He who knows the 'thoughts and words as the consciousness, he is the knower of ultimate truth. One, who has realized the non-dualistic or Advaitic  Truth, has entered into the realm of consciousness, by burning away the accumulated egocentric dross. The egocentric dross  is the  cause of the ignorance. the ignorance is cause of experiencing the duality as reality. The duality is cause of experiencing the world as reality. the world is cause of experiencing the experience of  birth, life and death as reality. The experience of  birth, life, death and the world  is cause of of experiencing the individual  pain and pleasure as reality.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that, the self is not an individual because it is formless consciousness. the consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states.  Thus the consciousness alone is real and all else is mere mirage created out of consciousness.

A Gnani  is free from experiencing the illusion as reality.  In the realm of truth   the soul (consciousness) s has no seed of ignorance for illusion.  For when mirage is  superimposed on consciousness  has merged in the consciousness  on the discrimination of the real  and the unreal , it does not appear again as real  to those discriminating people, just as before, from the impressions of past persisting in the intellect.

All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought

Sage Sri Sankara –VC--"All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought

It is this Supreme Oneness which alone is real, since there is nothing else but the Self. Verily, there remains no other independent entity in the state of realization of the highest Truth."

People believe that teacher or mystic or priest has got so many followers and therefore there must be some truth in their teaching, is a common fallacy accepted by the mass due to their inherited conditioning. It proves only an ignorant can find a number of greater ignorant to follow him.

The  Mind appears due to ignorance. Without ignorance the mind ceases to exist.  Thus mind is in the form of universe and appears as waking or dream.  The waking or dream is state of duality. Thus seeker has to hold wherever there is duality there is ignorance.  If duality is considered as reality than the experience of birth, life, death and the world is considered as reality.  If experience birth, life, death and the world is considered as reality than the form, time and space is becomes a reality. If form, time and space is becomes reality as reality than there is diversity in unity.  To bring back the unity in diversity, one has to put the ego in to reverse gear until it reaches the ultimate end or source from where mind rises and subsides.

The Seeker has to grow from the inside out by soul-centric reasoning. None can teach him none can make him to reach the ultimate end. There is no other guru but the formless consciousness, which the innermost self.

Mind is in the form of universe.  Man is with in the world. Man is the physical entity within the universe. Universe appears as waking or dream. Dream is parallel waking and waking is parallel dream.  The formless witness of the mind or universe or waking is real and eternal. The formless witness itself is the formless substance of the three states.

The scriptures are for ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Wisdom is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes.  Such concocted Gods have no value in pursuit of truth.  Man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion.

Prayers and sacrifices belong to a premature stage of development. However when no answers come to prayers, struggle for existence presses man, and doubt arises again.  Faith in religion weakens as man pays more attention to facts of life and this world.

People take their gurus as their model. Many think that wisdom to be the matter of theorizing.  But it is not so.Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do with practical life, which is limited to form, time and space. Everyone has to experience    birth, life, death and the world within the waking experience.  The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. And waking becomes unreal when the self, wakes up in its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of waking experience (duality).

Egocentric theorizing   does not lead to self-awareness. Water is the root of the element of the snow and cloud, similarly, consciousness is root of the element of the universe. From consciousness the universe comes into existence. In consciousness the universe resides. And into the consciousness the universe is dissolved. Consciousness is parent of all that is there.

All attribute based knowledge, which are inferior, have to be bifurcated and excluded to know the ultimate truth.  The seeker of truth has to drop all the inferior knowledge based on the attributes and go beyond Vedas to understand assimilate and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Reason is the common ground for whole humanity in modern age, whereas the appeal to scriptural relations reaches only the sects.  Those who argue that truth is only in their religion are vain logicians, depending on mere ideas, speculations and imaginations.

Truth is bitter pill. It becomes very difficult for the seeker to accept it at first; because of his inherited conditioning. Gradually he will be able to grasp it as he moves on.

One has to go beyond Vedas means go beyond religion. Go beyond religion means, go beyond concept of god.  Thus, going beyond Veda, religion and conceptual god means going beyond illusion.   That is end of Vedas (Veda –antha)

It is necessary for the seeker to do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till, the un-contradicted truth is obtained.

Upanishad says:-  the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana and they indicate the personal gods, scriptures, worship and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana, then why anyone should indulge in it. The religion, concept of individualized god and scriptures are greatest obstacle to realize non-dual truth or self-realization, because they are based on false self.  The seeker of truth has to search the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper, inquiry, analysis and reasoning and assimilate and realize it.

That is why Sage Sri Sankara, indicated  in Bhaja Govindam says: - [Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena] - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

Then it is no use going roundabout way, trace the Brahman which is the formless substance and witness of the universe, which is in the form of mind.  By tracing the source of the mind or universe one will be able to realize the Brahman.

Thus, self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  is meant only for those who have intense urge, and courage to accept the truth with humility and reject the untruth. Since people start comparing with their scriptural knowledge, it becomes impossible to assimilate and realize the non-dual truth.   Therefore, there is no need to convince anyone other than our own-selves to get the firm conviction.

So they clearly indicate rituals and theories are not meant for those who are searching for the higher knowledge or wisdom.   The path of wisdom is the only means.

Ego is confined to the physicality; but one has to know that mind cannot be confined to body.

The Ego is confined to the physicality; but one has to  realize that, the  mind cannot be confined to the  body alone. One has to analyze it and become aware of the fact that, the mind is present in the form of  the whole universe. If one knows the  mind is  the universe and the universe is created out of the consciousness, then what else can exist, other than the consciousness? Then whatever is, is the consciousness, when the illusion is mentally converted back to the consciousness by perfect understanding assimilation and realization.

If the soul or consciousness is everything, how can there be anything other than consciousness. The nature of consciousness is like deep sleep experience. Hence silence is the nature of the consciousness(soul).

If  the consciousness is the ultimate truth then there is nothing else to know and realize the fact that, the  consciousness is the true self. There is no room for  the duality in the realm of  the non-dualistic or Advaitic  truth.

For A Gnani The body and the world too are consciousness . The one who believes that, the body and the world are separate, will not be able to realize there illusory nature. Therefore, they will not be able to accept the waking life as illusion.

One has to give up the idea of individuality and world is apart from him. Man and the world co-exist together and they disappear together. Until man thinks the world is separate from him, it becomes impossible to understand, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic or Advaitic   truth. Thus he has to renounce the idea that he is an individual separate from the world.

The mind rises from the formless soul, which is in the form of consciousness. The sense of ‘I’ rises as mind. The mind is in the form of universe. Thus ‘I’ is the mind or universe. Universe appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.  Holding sense of ‘I’ limited to the ego is cause of separation. It makes one feel, he is an individual separate from the world and world existed prior to him, and he is born in it afterwards. Until one has this conviction, it is very difficult to grasp the non-dualistic or Advaitic   truth.

Thus it is necessary to realize the self is neither the ego nor the world but is the witness of the ego, body and world together.  The true self is formless witness of the three states.  And it is also the formless substance of the three states, because without self the three states are non-existent.    In reality the formless substance and witness of the three states are one in essence. The essence is consciousness and it is ultimate truth. The formless self is witness of the three states.  And the formless witness is within the three states. And it is without the three states.  And also it is   apart from the three states.  It is within the three states as their formless substance. And it is without the three states as their formless witness. And it is also apart from the three states because it not an entity or identity within the three states.

Lots of patience, humility is needed in pursuit of truth. Arguments on their point of view are the greatest hindrance in pursuit of truth. Thus holding any teacher and teaching or scriptures are the greatest hindrance in pursuit of truth.

Egocentric yard stick based on the accumulated knowledge is the greatest hindrance in pursuit of truth.
