Self-Knowledge does not consist in the mastery of scriptural knowledge or intellectual speculation or logical conclusions. , but in the realization of the true Self

Self-Knowledge does not consist in the mastery of scriptural knowledge or intellectual speculation or logical conclusions. , but in the realization of  the true  Self ,which is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity. Without this Self-Knowledge, it is futile to try to know ultimate truth.
Human knowledge of an object is clouded by the ignorance that shrouds his own Self; and minus this unifying force of Self-Knowledge, all knowledge is reduced to mere conjecture and, therefore, it is arbitrary. Knowledge of the Self instantly means true knowledge of  our true existence.
This Knowledge to be attained in the midst of waking life, the aspirant should carefully and minutely analyze the nature of the mind, which is in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or  dream and disappears as deep sleep and grasp the transience of all  the three states. If everything is transient, what, then, is Eternal and, therefore, worth aspiring for? This question cannot be answered by the aspirants' intellect, for the intellect itself is a finite and frail instrument and one amongst the transient objects in this evanescent universe .
But the emergence in the aspirants' mind of such a doubt  is itself the signal that the his ignorance that bound him to experience the birth, life and death as reality have got loosened, and that with the sharp razor of wisdom , he can easily overcome the ignorance and assimilate and realize ultimate truth.
Self-knowledge has to be acquired by direct realization of the ultimate truth. In the presence of ultimate truth , the intellect which is based on the ego ceases to function. He realizes that mind and soul are one in essence and that essence is consciousness. And consciousness is the true self.  The consciousness  itself is the knower, known and Knowledge.  By realizing the consciousness as self the distinction between knowledge, the knower and the known vanishes.
Pursuit of truth  is for the purpose of Self-Realization. Perfect understanding , humility , receptiveness, courage to drop all accumulated knowledge based on the false self ,self verification ,deeper reasoning , sharpness to grasp   and the acquirement of correct knowledge are the  requisite that bestow strength on the aspirant and an seeker endowed with this strength alone can reach the  non-dual Goal - not a person who has mastered egocentric knowledge .
Self realization cannot be achieve through egocentric knowledge or yoga because it is not the product of any action but it is mental journey and can be achieved only through perfect understanding. Firth seeker has to realize the self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the formless knower of the three states. The knower is the soul.
The soul is in the form of consciousness. And consciousness is ultimate truth.  and consciousness is all-pervading and is the Self of all the three states. Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of  all the three states. The formless substance and witness are one in essence hence there is no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness. Therefore, there is no second thing exists other than consciousness. Thus consciousness alone is real and all else is mere illusion created out of consciousness.
Failure to grasp this truth alone results in egocentric personality. Seeker has to  forbid from talking of anything other than this all-pervading consciousness ,which is the true self.
The essence of truth  is hidden  within the three states and it is without the three states . seeker has to just reflect for a moment. If he  really and sincerely recognizes the presence of the consciousness  in everything and everywhere in all the three states  then  he enters is the threshold to the limitless domain of  non-dual reality.
Formless path blogs are mainly intended for the seekers who found theological, religious, yogic and theoretical philosophies as useless raft to realize the ultimate truth and interested in deeper self-search and direct realization.
