Void or emptiness or nothingness is the nature of the soul consciousness , the innermost self.

Q: The term "void" is used in certain scriptures. I’d like to know your thoughts on it ultimately, rather than mid-way - i.e. do you see all things being resolved back into Atman, or does the world of form, in a sense, constitute the Atman or soul  I think the psychology is helpful to go beyond duality?

Ans: All these confusion are bound to exist on the base of ‘I’ as self.  However, when one becomes aware of the fact that, ‘I’ is not the self but self is  the 'Soul, or consciousness , the innermost self, and he is able to view and judge on the base of Soul, or consciousness the innermost self, then he  also become aware of the fact that nothing is exiting [duality], nothing ever existed.  But to come to this understanding, it takes time, because one has to do lots of home work. One has to unlearn whatever he has learnt and accumulated on the base of ‘I’.

Soul (Consciousness) is unconscious of its formless non-dual true nature in waking or dream (duality or illusion).   In Self-Awareness the Soul, the innermost self is aware of its own formless non-dual nature.  In self-awareness, the three states are one is essence.  Awareness is the nature of the soul.  The formless soul (consciousness) can remain with or without the physical awareness (mind or waking or dream).  In deep sleep it remains without the mind or  waking or dream.  The one which is aware of the waking or dream and one which is unaware of the waking or dream is not the waking entity (ego) but the soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

We have to mentally grasp the existence of the formless witness of the three states, than it becomes very easy to grasp the fact that our body and our experience of world are one is essence and that essence is consciousness, our innermost self.

On the base of ‘I’  the universe  is reality. But on the base of' the Soul, or consciousness , the innermost self,  nothing exist other itself.  To the formless non-dual true nature of' Soul, or consciousness , the innermost self,   they called it void or nothingness or emptiness. But that Void or  emptiness or nothingness is the nature of the soul  consciousness , the innermost self.  void or  emptiness or nothingness means soul , the innermost self.

Only when one who view and judges on the base of ‘I’, he feels it is void or emptiness or  or nothingness. But for one who has learns to view and judge the worldview on the base of  the Soul, or consciousness the innermost self than  everything is consciousness, and nothing exits other then consciousness.  Since there is no second thing other then consciousness. consciousness alone prevails; when the seeking mind negates the world of forms [waking/dream] one cannot say it is void or empty or nothingness.

Until the self identifies with the flesh and blood, and material world, it is caught up in psychological apparatus, and believes the duality as reality. The truth is beyond psychology.

Until one considers ‘I’ itself as self, he cannot go beyond psychology, because psychology is based on ‘I’ as self.  Thus one has to understand the psychology is limited to the physical apparatus, it cannot go beyond the physicality.

Nothing is exiting , nothing ever existed

Q: The term "void" is used in certain scriptures. I’d like to know your thoughts on it ultimately, rather than mid-way - i.e. do you see all things being resolved back into Atman, or does the world of form, in a sense, constitute the Atman or brahman ? I think the psychology is helpful to go beyond duality?

Ans:- All these confusion are bound to exist on the base of ‘waking entity or ego’ as self.  However, when one becomes aware of the fact that, ‘waking entity or ego ’ is not the self but the formless soul or consciousness  is the innermost  self, and he is able to view and judge on the base of soul, then he also become aware of the fact that,  nothing is exiting , nothing ever existed.  But to come to this understanding, it takes time, because one has to do lots of home work to mentally  burn unnecessary accumulated  dross.

Through deeper self-search one has to eradicate the foundational ignorance, Self -Knowledge  or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana alone is the means to the attainment of liberation from illusion. Only Self -Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana destroys the ignorance.

WHAT IS ‘I’?

The ‘I’ disappears as deep sleep, so what is the use of being attached to it? It is impermanent and illusory.

There is really no ‘I’ which in the form of mind. And mind is in the form of universe. And universe   appears as waking or dream. The ‘I’ or mind or universe or waking or dream dies disappears as deep sleep.  Thus one that appears as ‘I’ or mind or universe or waking or dream is consciousness and it disappears as deep sleep is also consciousness.  In deep sleep it is in its formless non dual true nature.  The one, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states, is also consciousness.   Thus the witness and witnessed are one in essence.
Thus the    universe is reality on the base of individuality and universe is unreal on the base of the consciousness, which is the innermost self. The seeker gradually will grasp and realize the unreal nature of the universe or mind. Individuality is illusory because the self is not an individual because self is formless and it pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states. .

Dualist’ sages have written big volumes about the soul. Yet they are quite ignorant of the fact that the ‘I’ about which they write itself comes and goes and has no permanent existence, is only an idea after all.

One has to unlearn whatever he has learnt and accumulated on the base of ‘I’.

Man and his experience of pain and pleasure and the world are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is Atman ,which is present in the form of consciousness. Atman is the innermost self . Realizing Atman as self, frees one from experiencing the illusory universe ,which is present in the form of waking experience as reality. Thus it is necessary to realize Atman as self in order to realize the form, time and space(present life) is mere illusion. Atman(consciousness) is Brahman(ultimate truth). The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when waking entity becomes aware of the fact that, it itself is not the self, in the midst of waking experience.

People think love is the means to Self-Realization but they are unaware of the fact that, love and hate are made of the same stuff. Love is not the means of Self –Realization. Love is very much necessary in practical life within the practical world. Love implies duality. Whatever is of duality is falsehood. Thus love is reality within the falsehood. Lover and love ceases to exist in reality because the experience of duality is not reality. The experience of practical life within practical world is reality within the waking experience but waking experience itself is mere illusion created out of consciousness. Thus lover and love are one in essence. Thus path of love is religious path because religion is path of individuality or duality.
The humanism is limited to practical life within the practical world. The path of love is path for humanity therefore, it is individualized path. Thus path of love is limited to the physical structure, it cannot transport one to ultimate end. Thus seeker has to understand the fact that the practical life and practical world are part of the mirage from the ultimate standpoint.
Meher Baba said: - To love God as he ought to be loved, we must love for God and die for god, knowing that the goal of life is to know God, and find him as our own self.

To realize God is to attain liberation from the bondage of illusion.

Live only to find and realize your true identity with your beloved God.

The energy which is expended in mere thinking, taking or writing is like steam which escapes through the whistle of railway engine …

That is why the sages have always insisted on practice rather than theory. This applies particularly to those who want to know and realize God.
      ----
-----It means one has to one has to know and realize his inner most self is God and identify it as his true identity to find liberation from the bondage of the illusion of birth, life, death and world[duality]. The goal of our life is to find and realize our identity with our beloved God, which is our innermost self.
