Brahmin is the one who has realized the Brahman

When Sri,Sankara says the world is illusion, it includes birth, life and death, which happens  within the  world.  Thus seekers main aim is to mentally trace the formless substance of the illusion, which is also the witness of the illusion. The formless substance and witness of the illusion (world) is the the soul ,which is present in the form of consciousness.  soul or consciousness is ultimate truth that is Atman itself is Brahman.  This Brahman cannot be attained by indulging in egocentric religious orthodoxy. The knower of Brahman is Brahmin not the Brahmin who indulges in priest craft, which leads one to utter darkness as per Yajur Veda.

Brahmin is the one who has realized the Brahman (ultimate truth) and helps fellow seekers towards inner path. The one who knows Brahman knows his body and his experience of the world are mere illusion and also he knows his body and his experience of the world are also as Atman [consciousness], which is Brahman.  Thus, the priest craft which are crafted on the body based theories will lead one to hallucinated moksha. But real moksha or freedom is possible only through non-dual wisdom.

In Vedic era a Brahmin was a person who had attained Self- knowledge or Atma Jnana. This was an extremely difficult path of discipline of body, mind, and intellect, and people irrespective of their birth or class, who dedicated to such an austere life, were recognized as Brahmins.

A great example of this tradition (that a person becoming a Brahmin, rather than born as one) is the case of Vishwamitra, a warrior (Kshatriya), who became a Brahmin after attaining Atma Jnana or Self-Knowledge.

A smritis, or code of conduct composed by sage Atri defines brahminhood very clearly:-

"By birth, every man is a Shudra (an ignorant person). Through various types of disciplines (samskaras), he becomes a dwija (twice born). Through the studies of scriptures, he becomes a vipra (or a scholar). Through realization of supreme spirit (brahmajnana), he becomes a Brahmin."

The belief that people born in Brahmin caste, automatically become Brahmins, is a much later concept in the very ancient  India.  Thus, Brahmin means not caste but  one who has attained Atma Jnana or Brahma Jnana.

Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”

Sri, Sankara's commentary:-

Page 489: "The knower of Brahman (self-realized or Gnani) wears no signs.  Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

On page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life,…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."

Thus it is necessary to follow the path of Brahman not the path of the orthodox  priest- craft. Only by   dropping all the accumulated priest crafted baggage, one has to move forward to reach the non-dual destination in lesser time and effort.

There is no me or you and others, no seeking, no enlightenment, no desire, no ego no world. There is no pain or pleasure, no world, no purpose, and nothing that has to be achieved in the realm of reality. All the diversity is reality within the illusory reality.

All appearance is spirit, because the formless substance of the appearance is spirit, and the formless substance itself is the witness of the appearance.  Thus the substance and witness of the appearance is one and the sane spirit.  Therefore thee is no second thing other then the spirit, hence it is non-dual.

All that apparently manifests in the waking/dream is made of the formless stuff, thus the diversity has no value when one becomes aware of the stuff from which the diversity has arisen and where it subsides.  The diversity rises from the spirit and subsides back as spirit. Thus the source of the diversity is the true self. On the standpoint of the true self the diversity is mere illusion. Thus the individual experiences happening within the waking or dream are mere mirage.

The search for the source, which is appearing as many, the source or soul or spirit  is appearing as waking or dream(duality/diversity) and disappearing as deep sleep (non duality or soul or spirit) . therefore ,there is a need to view and judge on the base of the soul, the innermost   self  to realize the fact that the diversity(universe)  is mere mirage.

Consciously becoming aware of the true Self in the midst of the diversity (waking) is self realization.

Sage Sri Ramana Maharishi said: - Is it not necessary to study the Vedas or Bagvad Gita. Dasoponishad and Brahma Sutra

The thinker and the thought are present only in duality. There is neither thinker, not the thought in reality.  Thus the nature of the thinker and thought is formless and non-dual, because both are created out of the same stuff, which is formless and non-dual.

The duality (waking or dream) becomes non-duality (deep sleep). We are unconscious about it, because we view and judge on the base of physical entity which present only in duality.   The dream entity is not the waking entity, because we call the whole dream as false hood when the waking takes place.

The dream and waking experience has to be considered as duality, because the duality is present only in waking or dream and  duality is absent in deep sleep.   Since we limit the mind or ’I’ to the physical entity, we become ignorant of the true self and we experience duality as reality.

The mind or ’I’ is not limited to the physical entity alone but to the whole experience of waking or dream. If mind or ’I’ is present then the waking or dream (duality) is present. Absent of mind  or ’I’ absent of duality.  Thus mind or ’I’, which appears as waking and dream is unreal. And the formless knower of the appearance and disappearance of the mind is real, permanent and eternal.  This has to be grasped mentally.

The religious thinker cannot think beyond their belief system. Therefore, the Hindu or any other religious thinkers cannot cross the threshold of duality. Advaita[non-duality] and Dwaita or duality  is the nature of the self/soul. When the soul, the innermost  self is in waking/dream it is Dwaita or duality and when the soul the innermost self is in its formless non-dual  true nature it is Advaita or non-duality.

The Advaita philosophy is based on the scriptures and religion and god is not the means to Self knowledge  or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because the scriptures it self declare that:-

 Katha Upanishad:
This Atman cannot be attained by the study of the Vedas, or by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (Katha Upanishad Ch-II -23-P-20)

This Atman cannot be attained through study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Mundaka Upanishad  Upanishads by Nikilanada)

Second-hand knowledge of the self gathered from books or gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realisation will do that. Realise yourself, turning the mind inward.Tripura Rahasya, 18: 89
Self-knowledge cannot be attained by study of the Vedas and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge.  Therefore there is no use of studying the Vedas and other scriptures in order to acquire the non-dual wisdom.  That is why Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sri, Sankara indicated that, the truth lies beyond religion, concept of god and scriptures.

For the same reason Sage Sri Ramana Maharishi said:-  fortunate are the one who do not lose themselves in the labyrinths of philosophy. Bhagwan says: Take Vedanta, for instance: it speaks of 15 pranas the names and functions of it   which the student is asked to commit memory. Will it not be sufficient if he thought only one prana does the whole work of maintaining the body? Again the antakaran is said to think, to desire, to will, to reason etc. Why all these details? Has anyone seen antakarana, or all these pranas? Do they really exist? They are conceptual divisions invented by teachers of philosophy by their excessive analysis. Where do all these concepts end? Why should confusion created and then explained away? Fortunate is the man who does not lose him self in the labyrinths of philosophy, but goes straight to the source from which they all arise. (GURU RAMANA .By S.S Cohen -vii Danger of philosophy-Page -58-59)

Sage Sri, Ramana Maharishi further explains (in page 111/112- practical guide to know your self) :-
Q: D: Is it not necessary to study the Vedas or at least Prastnatraya[Bagvad Gita. Dasoponishad and Brahma Sutra all with commentaries] to ensure firm realization?

A: Bhagvan: - No. Do you need all that to see yourself? All that is intellectual wealth, useful in explain doubts and difficulties if others rise them if you yourself encounter them in course of thinking. But to attain realization, all that is not necessary. You want fresh water to drink, but you do not require all the water of the river Ganges to quench your quest.

Therefore, the seekers of truth need not lose themselves in the labyrinths of philosophy, but go straight to the source from which they all arise. Truth pursuit is an inner journey without the physical baggage.

Sage Sri,  Sankara himself says (VC) 59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest which merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utter the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

Mundaka Upanishad :- The study of the Vedas, linguistics, Rituals, astronomy and all the arts Can be called lower knowledge. The higher Is that which leads to Self-realization. The eye cannot see it; mind cannot grasp it. The deathless Self has neither caste nor race, Neither eyes not ears nor hands nor feet. Sages say this Self is infinite in the great And in the small, everlasting and changeless, The source of life.

They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of Atman. The ordinary man does not understand their way. (Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana 95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada)

Therefore, if one is seeking truth he has to know his true self is not physical but it is the Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.

Self-knowledge  or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana cannot be attained by study of the Vedas and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge.  Therefore there is no use of studying the Vedas and other scriptures in order to acquire the non-dual wisdom.  That is why Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sri, Sankara indicated that, the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, concept of god and scriptures.

There is only one Reality to be known, the same for all seekers, but the ways to it, are hidden by the religion.  Self-discovery is the only way, towards non-dual Absolute without any religious doctrines, which will help the seekers to unfold the mystery of the illusion in which we all are searching the truth of our true existence.

The beliefs of god, religion, yoga are based on the false self, is nothing to do with the mental [inner] journey.   The religious, rituals, worships, prayers god and guru glorification may be useful in the worldly life, for those  who believes in the birth, life, death and the world as reality, but they are not useful tools in realizing the ultimate truth. On the base of consciousness (soul) as self, everything other than the consciousness is mere mirage.  Thus, man and his experience of the world and his belief of god and religion are part and parcel of the mirage created out of consciousness.

Eradicating the ignorance completely is necessary in order get liberation from experiencing the duality as reality and this is possible only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  is the aim of every human being. Since everyone thinks the physical body is the self their aim is misdirected and they focus their attention on materiality which makes one feel the duality (waking) as reality.
Millions are in search of the ultimate truth, and only one in million will be able to grasp and realize it. By focusing more attention on soul, the innermost self.  as  conviction becomes firmer and the duality will fade away as reality. soul, the innermost self which is one’s   true identity will prevail as birth-less and deathless, eternal substance and witness of the mirage called duality.

After long deeper persuasion the seeker will realize the fact that, the world is reality only on the base of the waking entity, only then he will be able to get the conviction that the three states are unreal.

It is absolutely necessary to know the fact that,  the self is neither the waking entity nor the self is dream entity but the self is formless  soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Nothing can be independent of consciousness because no second thing exists other than consciousness. The whole universe without the form, time and space is consciousness.  Without the form, time and space there is no universe but it is only the formless nondual consciousness. But this truth has to be grasped to assimilate and realize the true essence of non-duality.

When one puts aside the imagination and has the thinker-- what does he get with thinking—he can get only a thought. Meditation is only an effort of the ego within the illusion; it is imagination based on the false self; the consciousness remaining the same with or without ideas.

When formless witness witnesses the waking experience and its attention is fixed to the waking experience, which is an object to it, than it is in ignorance of its formless non-dual true nature and it is in forgetfulness of its own formless non-dual true nature. Same thing is applied to the dream. But when formless witness is free from waking and dream it is in its formless non-dual true nature, which identified as deep sleep in the waking experience, which is the state of ignorance.   Until waking entity traces the formless witness mentally and realizes it itself is not the self but the formless witness, which is in the form of consciousness is the true self, the wisdom will not dawn.

The ignorance is the cause of experiencing all sorrow and calamities as reality. Eradicating the ignorance completely is necessary in order get liberation from experiencing the duality as reality and this is possible only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.   Thus, there is no other road to freedom other than Gnana.  There is no other entrance other than except Gnana.  The ignorance will vanish only when the non-dual wisdom dawns.

Sage Sri Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam says: - [Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena] - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.
Thus it proves that religion is not the means to self-knowledge.
Therefore, there is no need to study scriptures, or indulge in god and guru glorification or performing religious rituals in pursuit of truth.  Since, they are not the means to acquire non-dual wisdom. It is only waste of time and effort to indulge in those things.

When one tries and verify all this paths and practices and find them useless and inadequate to acquire non dual wisdom, then he  will find FP and IP BLOGS are helpful sign posts in pursuit of truth.

If one is aiming to be a master, Guru or teacher, he will never reach his destination. One has to share his knowledge with the fellow seeker not to make them his followers but only direct them if they are interested to travel beyond form, time and space.

It is foolish to impose our idea on others because everyone is not in same level of understanding.  Every one's inner work is on. When they are ripe enough they will understand, assimilate and realize on their own.  If they are ready and sharp enough they will grasp it instantly and they will reach their destination with lesser time and effort. Thus preaching, teaching is not wisdom, but by very careful reasoning, seeker has to determine the nature of reality. Thinking in right direction alone helps seeker determining the nature of reality.

Formless soul or consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things

Intellectuals may say the external world is a construction of the mind,  but deeper inquiry and reasoning reveals the fact that,  causal relation is never found between subject and object, and then there is no sense in intellectuals claim.

The waking or dream are not mere egoistic imaginations, but they are mere illusory  appearances. This must be understood. In dream the most important thing is that it ha appeared spontaneously, in dream the dream entity may be a minister or a doctor, or a peasant, and it is imagined or constructed by the waking entity. It is not the idea of the waking entity, which is present only in waking experience, but the true formless  soul or consciousness, the innermost self which is fully aware of the three states, which comes and goes in succession.

One may have seen the birth and death of other beings within the waking or dream, but one has never seen the birth and death of the formless witness of the three states because it is deathless because it is birthless.

One may imagine it but even that is possible within the waking or dream. In other words the formless witness of the three states must be there before their appearance. Hence the witness,  which is the true self, is termed "the unborn, because it is formless.

One has never seen the formless witness going, so one cannot call it mortal, because it is ever present in all the three states. It can remain with or without the experience of duality.

The three states (object)   must be of the same stuff as the formless  witness  (subject) of them because they disappear into formless  soul, the innermost self.

Thus experiencing the pain and pleasure within the illusion with the illusory self, within the illusory experience, has to be illusion. The illusion is created, and sustained, and finally dissolves as consciousness, which is the innermost Self.  Since, there is no second thing other than the consciousness (soul); the consciousness itself is ultimate truth or Brahman.   The one who has realized this truth for him this illusion is passing show because he is fully aware of the fact that his body, his ego and his experience of the world to be consciousness. Practical peoples approach is more practical, and they are stuck with the reality of the practical life within the practical world, they take it as real whereas for Gnani has the firm conviction that:-

Formless soul or consciousness is the witness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theatre, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

What is not consciousness (formless) in the experience of diversity (universe or waking)?  The waking and the dream cease to exist without consciousness.  The seeker, seeking and his destination   all are one in essence.

By becoming more and more intellectual one becomes more and more intoxicated to individuality. The intellectuality is limited to duality.  In realm of truth the intellectuality is replaced by non-dual wisdom.  There is nothing exist other than formless non dual existence. Therefore, there is   no individual to become sane or insane. There is no second thing exists, other than consciousness.  Everything is one, that is, unity in diversity. The curiosity, urge cannot be imposed on others.  It has to sprout within. One need not become a guru because the guru is within guides every seeker.

Pundits who take scriptures for granted are not Gnanis

Pundits who take scriptures for granted are not Gnanis. Pundits teach that all is your-self, but none of them can show that this is so, none has analyzed it scientifically, and none can prove it. Rational proof is needed, so that one arrive at knowing truth i.e. wisdom; punditry is mere dogma, parrotism, repetition of what they read in scriptures. Scriptures are not yardstick and scriptural truth is not proof.   Pundits take scriptures as authority.

Authoritarianism merely assumes as true what another says, but what has yet to be proved.
Pundits have to test truth in this world not in the next world.  There is no proof other than blind belief based on the scriptures, belief is not truth.  So, doctrines are not the means to realize the ultimate truth. There is no need to follow them.

Doubts and Confusions arise when seeker finds the scriptures and yoga are inadequate or useless to quench his spiritual thirst.   Disappointments in religion or yoga or even science imply error or ignorance.

How do the people who expound their knowledge know they have experienced the whole? Where is the proof they have seen it? When they say “I know from experience” they merely mean “I think so.” If they experience bliss, they cannot be egoless, for who is having the joy? And if they retain the ego they cannot know the Universal Brahman, the whole. Thus their individual experience is not derived from Gnana or Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Without knowing the nature of the mind or universe world, it is impossible to know the ultimate truth. What is the use of trying to find one’s inner self before he understands the mind or universe?  Thus it is necessary to investigate the truth about the world, which confronts him to realize this world which confronts him as being consciousness.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says:-

VC- 63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman ? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Whatever have appeared (birth, life, death and world) has appeared on its own and it disappears on its own.  Whether a person takes it as reality or illusion it all depends on his mental and intellectual conditions will determine the phenomenal world observed and experienced. The look of an object will depend upon the medium through which the observer views it. A Gnani viewing the universe (practical life within the practical world) different from the ignorant is viewing the same universe (practical life within the practical world). Each one of them interprets the universe he sees in term of his existing knowledge.
The Gnani sees his body, his ego and his experience of the world as mere mirage created out of consciousness whereas the ignorant sees his body as body, his ego as ego and his experience of the world as world.

This doubt and confusion exists only for those who thinks external world already exists as real and who think their physical body also exists as real.  For person who is aware of the fact that he and his world exists only in waking experience, and waking is unreal. When one sees their unreality the problem collapses.

Gnani do not want anything, not even God or Heaven, because he knows that even Heaven and God are reality only on the base of waking entity.

Unreality has different meanings, that which does not exist and that which is mistaken for something else. In pursuit of truth the meaning is the three states which appear in succession, which seem to exist as reality. Hence the first work in pursuit of truth is to learn to analyze the three states which appear and disappear. After analyzing the dream, one knows that it could not have been inside the small space of his physical body during sleep; hence it must have been a dream. The physical body would not have contained the dream world; hence the dream is unreal, because of its inconsistency. Hence on further analyses and examination he realizes it is only an idea. It is the fact of inconsistency which is emphasized here.

Seeker of truth is neither he is an atheist nor religionist; he sticks to God as non dual Truth and not to God as imagined by every religionist. He does not accept an unreal God. When he is dreaming he does not regard the objects as unreal; only after awakening. Many yogis are under the delusion that if world disappears in meditation they are having Brahmic wisdom. They shut their eyes to the non dual truth.

Nothing is needed other than perfect understanding of what is what is needed.

Swami Vivekananda:- BY LOVING ALL BEINGS AS THE TEMPLES OF GOD. HE RESIDES WITHIN THEM. THUS, WITH THAT INTENSE LOVE WILL COME KNOWLEDGE, AND IGNORANCE WILL DISAPPEAR, THE BONDS WILL BREAK, AND THE SOUL WILL BE FREE.

The soul is also sexless; we cannot say of the Atman that it is a man or a woman. Sex belongs to the body alone. All such ideas, therefore, as man or woman, are a delusion when spoken with regard to the Self, and are only proper when spoken of the body. So are the ideas of age. It never ages; the ancient One is always the same. How did It come down to earth? There is but one answer to that in our scriptures. Ignorance is the cause of all this bondage. It is through ignorance that we have become bound; knowledge will cure it by taking us to the other side. How will that knowledge come? Through love, Bhakti; by the worship of God, by loving all beings as the temples of God. He resides within them. Thus, with that intense love will come knowledge, and ignorance will disappear, the bonds will break, and the soul will be free. -
The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda/Volume 3/Lectures from Colombo to Almora/Vedantism

“Self” is neither the male nor female. It is formless permanent and eternal and apart.  It is apart because “Self “is not an entity or identity within the waking or dream. Thus the individual experiences within the waking experience are as real as dream.  If one has sex in dream and dream becomes unreal when the waking takes place, similarly when one realizes the true self is not physical the waking also becomes unreal. The dream is parallel waking experience.  And waking experience is parallel dream.  If one views and judges and concludes the truth on the base of birth entity, with name, then   he will remain in intellectuality, which is limited to physicality.   The sex is nothing to do with self, which is in the form of spirit. The self is present in all the three states as its formless substance and witness, whereas the physical self is present only in waking or dream, not in deep sleep.  Thus the one which is aware of all the three states is not physical but the spirit, which is apart and eternal.

The ignorance is the cause of experiencing all sorrow and calamities as reality. Thus eradicating the ignorance completely is necessary. And this is possible only through Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.   Thus, there is no other road to freedom other than Gnana.  There is no other entrance other than except Gnana.  The ignorance will vanish only when the non-dual wisdom dawns.

Sri Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam says: - [Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena] - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

Thus it proves that religion is not the means to self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

A Gnani never considers himself as a Gnani. A Gnani do not consider himself as wise and others are less wise. No one is wise or less wise in in pursuit of truth. The inner revolution starts within and ends within. Gnani is neither a scriptural scholar nor he is a philosopher.  Gnani neither a teacher nor he has any teaching.  He silently works and helps the fellow seekers inspiring them guiding them towards inner reality in his own way. The scholar will remain as scholars and philosophers will remain as philosophers and intellectual remains as intellectuals arguing on their point of view. I am not propagating any philosophy because philosophy is nothing to do with pursuit of truth.

Gnani respects all the sages of truth of the past. Sharing the knowledge is his only mission.  Inspiring the serious and sincere seekers of truth and divert their attention towards the inward reality is very much necessary.  Seekers should not hold any teacher or teaching or wise men as a yardstick and indulge in argument instead try to list out the doubts and confusion arises from that teaching or declaration and try to find answer independently on their own, which opens the inner dialogue, and the inner discrimination will start on its own in subconscious, and then the truth will start revealing on its own without intellectual spoon feeding. It is not my advice but it is my humble suggestion because the advice comes from the ego and suggestion comes from the inner core of the existence.

There is no need to follow anyone. If one wants Brahman follow the inner guru not Hinduism.  If one wants ultimate truth follow Christ within not Christianity.  If one wants Nirvana follow Buddha not Buddhism.  By glorifying the form and name of the sages will not yield truth. Deeper self-search is needed in order to realize what is what. It is not the man who has to get self-realization but it is the self that has to realize it is not the man and the world but it is consciousness. Thus it is the self, which has urge for freedom from this illusory prison called universe or mind.

The universe will not vanish, when wisdom dawns, only the ignorance disappears and unreal nature of the universe or mind or waking is exposed, same way as the unreal nature of the dream exposed when waking takes place. The wisdom dawns in the midst of duality because in reality there is no duality.

Nothing is needed other than perfect understanding of what is what is needed.

The Ultimate Understanding is to understand there is no second thing exists other then the formless soul ,which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Ultimate Understanding is to understand there is no second thing exists other then the formless soul ,which is present in the form of consciousness.  And the whole diversity is created out of the soul or consciousness.

Whatever is known, seen, believed and experienced is mere mirage created out the  formless soul, the innermost self. the formless  soul is present in the form of consciousness.  Thus everything within mirage is the consciousness.

The acceptance to accept the diversity as mirage happens or not is the Will of soul, which is the true self.  And it is not the destiny of the individual concerned, because individuality is mere illusion. Thus one who believes in past, present and future and rebirth and reincarnation is not fit to receive the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  because he accepts the individuality as reality.  Without making sure of the fact that,  the individuality is mere mirage through deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning it is impossible to come out of individuality.   The reason based on individuality produces intellectuality.  Intellectuality is not the means to self-knowledge.  There is no end to argument based on intellectuality because it is based on the false self or ego.

It is impossible to “kill the ego" alone because the body, world and ego appear together and disappear together.   All preaching, practices and writings are base on the false self  or ego which leads to all sorts  of doubts and confusion.  The ego bases itself intellectuality and intellectuality is I based on individuality.  Thus individuality cannot transport one to the non-dual destination.  Thus, ornamental words of the pundits  may satisfy the ego but it has no value in pursuit of truth.   The ego alone cannot be converted back to the stuff from which has been created.

The individual experiences are not realization because the individuality is part of the mirage. The individual experiences are happenings with in the mirage, thus the personal experiences are of no value in pursuit of truth. The one who knows the formless substance and witness of the mirage knows “What is truth? is and “What is untruth”.   Thus he has mental yardstick or wisdom of judging what is real and what is unreal.

"Events happen; deeds are done by an individual, but all that has taken place within the mirage. There is no individual doer because the whole experience of diversity is dependent on the formless  soul, which is present in the form of consciousness."Till  one learns view and judges the three states on the base of the formless  soul, he will not realize the he and his experience of the world is mere mirage. Without realizing the mind as a mirage he will not be able to accept the individuality as mirage.   Till  once judgment is based on the individuality,  the truth will not be revealed, and it is impossible to move towards universality.

The main confusion arises only when one thinks he is person born in this world and the world existed prior to him; till  this conviction is there it is impossible to assimilate non-dual truth.  Thus it is necessary to realize the fact through deeper self-search,  to  the body is not the self and self is not born. Therefore, it is erroneous to treat the body as self and judge and conclude the truth on the physical base or ego.

Many seekers want to know and realize the truth but they are stuck with their inherited idea of karma, rebirth, sin and reincarnation and heaven and hell.  All this ideas are based on the physical self. When the self is unborn the karma, rebirth, reincarnation theory itself has no value.

With what one is able to perceives the world as person?  Why the person and his experience of the world cease to exist without the waking experience?  Where the waking experience disappears when the dream appears? Where the ego, body and the world exist?

Self-realization is simply the realization of the fact that, the true self is neither the waking entity nor the self is dream entity but the self is formless soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.

True self is nothing to  do with neither   waking  entity nor the dream entity. the waking entity or  ego is nothing to do with the ultimate  truth. Whatever is based on the waking entity or  ego is falsehood because  it  is present only within  waking experience which is mere illusion.

The formless substance and witness of the three states is the formless  soul is the innermost self. On the standpoint of the  formless soul as self, the all the accumulated intellectual knowledge  is  dross  Thus, arguing on the base of intellectuality, which is based on the false self (waking entity or ego), is not of any value.

The reality is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Deeper self-search  reveal the fact that, if mind is there than only  ‘I’ is there.  If 'I' is there  then only the waking experience is there. When the ‘I’ disappears the waking experience disappears.  Thus ‘I’ is not limited to the physical entity within the waking experience, but to the whole waking experience.

When we limit the ‘I’ to waking or  dream entity, it becomes ego.  If we base ourselves on ego and try to understand the truth we will not be able cross the threshold of duality, because the truth is beyond the three states.  Whatever we experienced as reality within the waking is falsehood. Whatever prevails without the falsehood is the formless soul, the innermost self. the soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Consciousness is the substance and witness of the duality.  The duality is present in the form of mind. Mind is present in the form of universe. The universe appears as waking or dream and diapers as deep sleep. The one which is aware of the coming and going of the three states is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the formless soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  When the soul becomes aware of its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of duality it is called self –awareness. It is foolish to limit the consciousness only to duality because the consciousness pervades all the three states
The present becomes past moment to moment. The past, present and future are reality only on the base of physical self.  The form, time and space are reality within the waking or dream. The physical self and the world cease to exist without the waking experience.  The memory is based on the individuality. The individuality is reality within the waking or dream. The waking is parallel dream. And dream is parallel waking experience.  man and the world are within the waking or dream. the witness of the three states is not waking or dream entity but it is the  formless soul.

When the waking  or dream experience disappears the formless witness  of the three states prevails as birth- less and deathless identity which is  the soul, the innermost self.  On the base of the soul, the innermost self , the three states are non-existent as reality.
Till one  consider the ‘I’ is the self the burden and bondage of duality is on ego or physical self. Once one realizes the fact that ‘I’ is not the self but the self is the formless soul than  the burden and bondage is on the formless soul. the formless soul is  source from where, the duality/mind rises and subsides.

Once one establishes his reason on the source, the duality/waking is mere mirage which is a passing show.    people who think the burden is on them to   earn a living, conflicts and challenges are reality within waking experience which is mere  the passing show.  The formless source is the soul  self, which is the formless witness of the passing show. The passing show is bound by form, time and space.   The reality is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

There is no scope arguments in pursuit of truth, because it is personal journey starts within the illusion(waking) and ends in realizing the truth

Till one thinks,  he an individual separate from the world he will not be able to assimilate the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  because he feels he is the doer/Author.  The sense of doer ship is within the waking experience which is mere illusion.  The people who think they are born in this world and world existed prior to them have not gone into deeper self-search.

They base themselves on the physical entity, and stuck to their intellectuality and accepted their accumulated knowledge as truth.  They will not accept anything as truth other than their understanding on the base of ‘I’ which is the false base.  They remain in  confusion and try to argue on the physical base such arguments has no end, because the truth is based on the formless and false is based on the form(ego or waking entity) .  Thus, whatever is seen known, believed and experienced on the false base has to falsehood.  Thus the birth, life, death and the world  which is based on the physical entity is part and parcel of the illusion.

Intellectuality is limited to physicality.  Thus, the mind cannot cross the threshold of duality and they are stuck to finding the truth through sex, virtues, love, good deeds and compassion which is the attributes of the false self within the false experience.

Until one gets convinced that the ‘I’ is not self, he will remain in ignorance of the formless  soul the innermost  self . If self is formless then the experience of  birth life, death and the world   is bound to be illusion. Therefore it is necessary to know and realize the fact that,  the self is not the form but it is formless before indulging in the inner (mental) journey.

Inquiry is not the set of questions but clearing all the doubts and confusion through deeper reasoning on his own.   There is no scope arguments in pursuit of truth, because it is personal journey starts within the illusion(waking) and ends in realizing the truth. Thus the arguments based on the false self will not lead one towards the non-dualistic  goal. The seeker of truth has to share assimilation of knowledge and help and inspire the fellow seekers and divert their attention from outer to inwardness.

The inquiry is to know:-

v  “With what one knows himself and his experience of the world?

v  How he and his experience of the world have come into existence and with what?

Till  one becomes aware of that,  that ,which is responsible for him to function as a person and perceive the world, he will not become aware of the fact that, the true  self is formless, nameless identity.

It cannot be called anything and it cannot be approached, because it exits prior to waking or dream. And prior to the appearance of waking and dream there is nothingness or emptiness.  That emptiness or nothingness itself is the soul/spirit, which is the formless substance and witness of the three states.

Without this formless substance which is in the form of consciousness noting can exist. The soul, the innermost self is the centre of the physical existence.  When the centre is aware of the objects (waking or dream) it becomes mind or  ‘I’.  When the center is aware of its formless non-dual true nature it is soul, the innermost self. the soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Till one reaches the source through deeper self-search he will not be able to reach and understand, assimilate and realize the self.

Accumulated knowledge is not the yardstick to judge what is truth and what is untruth. Till  one knows what is truth how he can know what is untruth. Therefore, being in illusion and inquiring on the base of false self within the illusion leads only to intellectuality.  Therefore, there is a need to indulge in deeper inquiry and know the  fact that the self is not the form but self is formless. If one gets the conviction that the self is formless, then he is ready and prepared for the inner journey.

All the knowledge of the physical existence (man + world) is not based on the physical self or ego, because the self is not the physical. Therefore, it is necessary to know the self, which is not the physical, to know the self is independent and the body + world are dependent on the formless  soul or consciousness, the innermost  self to function itself and perceives the world.

When the ultimate truth is rightly known and one attains eternal life thereby. Through soul, the innermost self he gains strength and through its knowledge immortality.

Not by intellectual   speculation but only by an awakening to the reality of his true existence he gets soul-centric vision. Soul, the innermost self’s nature is like state of deep sleep.

Religion, yoga and intellectualism are not the means to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Without getting rid of the ignorance and trying to get self-awareness through religion and yoga is like a sleeping man trying to know what he is about, without waking up. As sleep is to waking, so is ordinary life to the state of realization.
