The consciousness, which is the innermost self through
the medium of the physical entity within the waking experience begins to realize its formless non-dual true nature , just as a person experiences the practical life within the practical world as reality within the waking experience. when one realize the seeker and seeking and his realization of truth is possible only within the illusion or duality or universe or waking. because the mind or illusion or duality or universe and waking are one and the same and they are product of ignorance.
When the aspirant
becomes observed in the nature of the self, he is fully aware of what is real
and what is unreal. Just as worldly man
wakes up from deep sleep, the aspirant who absorbed in the nature of the self becomes
conscious gradually and settles gains and establishes in non-dual true base. The
aspirant, who has established in non-dual base, will be in the position to judge
and view the three states on the base of the formless consciousness,which is the innermost self or Atman or soul.
Witnessing on the
base of the formless consciousness ,which is the innermost self, will gain him the knowledge of the dual and non-dual
states of the formless self, and he will be able to discriminate the relation between
the witness and the witnessed, form and the formless, real and unreal, truth
and the untruth. As his conviction grows
about the non-dual reality, the duality will prevail as mere mirage. Thus the
birth, life and death become part of the mirage to the one who is able to view
and judge on the base of the formless non-dual witness.
When the aspirant
becomes fully established on the non-dual base witnessing, he can clearly see
there is no difference between the witnessed , and the formless witness.
Since, they both are one in essence.
As soon as the
aspirant reaches the witness state, his journey commences through mental sphere
or the spiritual sphere. Now the self becomes the master of the mind or
experience of duality (universe or waking). one can work on the base of the self , by using the
physical body as an apparatus within the experience of duality. He can still
remain in the waking experience (diversity) without taking physical authorship of the
burden and bondage of the experience of diversity. Thus one becomes free from the illusory burden and
bondage in the midst of the waking experience by knowing and realizing
the innermost self is not the form but formless consciousness.
When wisdom dawns than the innermost Self will be able to operate in the midst waking experience fully conscious of its formless non-dual true nature.
Strictly speaking unless and until the non-dual base of witnessing is reached, no one really knows what the mind or ‘I’ actually is. Suppose the aspirant in the sphere of the experience of diversity and conceives the idea of seeing god is still in the intoxication of duality. Only when he becomes aware of the true self is not ‘I’ but the formless non-dual spirit or consciousness, he starts becoming aware of the fact that, experience of duality(universe or waking) is mere mirage.
In the waking experience , the self works as its substance and witness fully immersed in the waking experience . But when it becomes self – conscious even in the midst of the experience of diversity remains unaffected within the happenings within the waking experience . Thus the self neither has the need to think not actually think; but it acts directly, and independently of the dual and non-dual sphere.
To gain the non-dual faculty of actually seeing the whole universe or waking experience is created out one and only substance and there is no second thing other then that formless substance and that substance itself is also the witness of the whole universe or waking experience . Therefore the formless substance itself is the self, from which the whole universe or waking experience is erupted and sustained and finally it dissolves and becomes one with it. Hence the whole universe or waking experience (universe or mind) is made of the formless substance and it finally dissolves as that substance.
When the aspirant gets the firm conviction that the formless non-dual substance,which is consciousness is the true self, than he becomes aware of the fact that, the waking experience also is mere mirage as dream. Just as the dream becomes unreal when waking tales place the waking also becomes unreal when it is viewed and judged on the base of the formless witness or true self. Therefore it is necessary for one to realize the true self, in order to overcome the illusory nature of cycle of birth, life death and the world .
Wisdom is to know the truth of one’s true existence, and establish in that truth. one has to learn to view and judge the worldview on the base of the formless consciousness which is the innermost self , in order to overcome the burden and bondage caused by duality in the midst of the experience of diversity.
It only when the final annihilation of ignorance, one is able to view and judge on the base of the true self, he reaches the state of perfection and free and fit to be called a Realized Mind or Gnani. Therefore the whole universe or waking experience is nothing but mirage created out of formless Atman or consciousness .
One has to focus his attention on the formless substance and witness of the ‘I’, and realize the fact that, the Atman or consciousness is pervading in all the three states that is in everything and everywhere in all the three states . Therefore there is no second thing exists other than the consciousness.
