Individual life and the experiences and the world exist within the mind.

The path to liberation or enlightenment lies in the pursuit of truth. What is truth? Mind and soul being different, the soul is essentially real in nature.  The mind is mere mirage created out of the soul, which is in the form of consciousness. The mind is mere illusion created out of soul, which appears and disappears as waking or dream. The mind is myth on the standpoint of the soul as self.

Individual life and the experiences and the world   exist  within the mind.  Since man clings to his physical identity he becomes unaware of the soul, which is the true self. Both good and bad acts are part of the illusion. Our endeavour in life should be to get rid of the illusion, which we experiencing it as reality and mentally return to the true self, which is not physical but it is the formless spirit. This is a mere mental process: one has to get rid of all that he has accumulated as truth so far plus he has to prevent more from accumulating. Only then it is possible to   restore true self to its original state of non-duality.

It is all about getting rid of the ignorance in pursuit of truth by discovering and realizing the fact that the self is not physical but the formless soul/spirit.
By clinging to the duality thinking it is reality one gets immersed in the duality and unable to get rid of the duality.  Until one thinks the birth, life and death is reality he will be unaware of the truth, which is beyond physicality.  The inherited conditioning makes one think he is born in this world and world existed prior to him. Until this conviction is there it is difficult to grasp the non-dual truth. Therefore, it is necessary to verify the validity of his inherited conviction before indulging in pursuit of truth.  The religion belongs to physical existence. Spirituality belongs to spiritual existence. The physical existence is mere mirage/illusion on the standpoint of the physical existence.
The individualized belief of god, religion and the world are based on the physical existence.  They become unreal when one becomes aware of the fact that, the self is not physical but it is the formless spirit.  Thus, it is necessary to know the self is not physical in order to know the fact that, the birth, life and death are part of the mirage created out of the soul/spirit/true self.

Many have learnt not to make a public display of their feelings and emotions, particularly when they are negative. However, one experiences as reality because of ignorance.  When one becomes fully aware of the fact that the physical existence is mere mirage then whatever experienced within the waking experience is bound to be mirage/ illusion.
One has to just visualise that each time he go through a strong emotion, it is engulfing the true self ... much like arteries get clogged with cholesterol. Only by realizing the fact that, the soul/ spirit is the true self and all else is illusion, the nondual wisdom dawns, and one gets freedom from experiencing the duality as reality.   There will be equanimity in the consciousness.  Once there is equanimity in consciousness then there is unity in diversity. All the division within the consciousness becomes meaningless.

The physical existence and spiritual existence cannot be experienced at the same time. Either one or the other is experienced. When one is in waking experience, `discard’ the physical existence mentally by understanding the fact that, the physical existence is mere mirage created out of the soul/spirit, then , the diversity  becomes  meaningless on the standpoint of the soul, which is the true self.
One has to become soul conscious not physical conscious. This leads to detachment from experiencing the duality as reality. When one becomes soul conscious, one become free from the entire physical based burden such as birth, life and death or pain and pleasure.
Having realized the duality is mere mirage it brings stillness in consciousness that is one remain in soul consciousness in the midst of experience of duality.
