The value of Self –Knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana isn’t to be found in books.

Many people think and discuss on the authors of the books or gurus. As seekers of truth one has to know where the author or guru has got stuck in assimilating the self-knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana for their own research. There is no need to criticize authors and gurus. If one bases his reasoning on the soul as self he will know how far they have reached in their understanding and assimilation of the non-dual truth.
The value of Self –Knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  isn’t to be found in books. Those are just the external appearances of self; they're not the realization of “Self” as proof. If one realizes the “Self” then he realizes the formless substance of the mind, and he sees the truth in it. When the truth becomes apparent then it cuts off the stream of delusion. Their writings are pointers to truth, not truth-in-itself. That's why merely believing in their books is pointless.
People judge others by their own limited understanding.  Their understanding is limited to physicality /intellectuality.  They simply indulge in endless argument on their own point of view.
When one go deeper and deeper reasoning to all the non-dual writing, it reveals the fact that, their understanding is based on intellectuality, and it never takes one to finality.  The seeker of truth is on his own and he has to realize the fact that, someone’s cooked food may be tasty but when he learns to cook on his own he will be able to grasp the truth on his own.
Intellectual judgments will always haunts with doubts and debate fastened to their tails, if not denials.  Direct spiritual perception alone free and lone conveys complete certitude.  The reason based on the soul as self, frees one from physical based logic and theories.
Until one knows the ultimate truth is non-dual, one keeps on inquiring and   reasoning.  One, who thinks the self is physical and the experience of the world as reality, should not indulge in pursuit of truth. He accepts the duality as reality and experiences the birth, life and death as reality.  When the birth entity is accepted as self, then whatever is seen, known, believed and experienced on the base of birth entity accepted as reality. On the base of birth entity, the body, world and belief of god seems to be real.
The guru is necessary for religion and yoga.  Path of truth is a personal path and path of verification. But in religion and yoga the verification is not allowed. Blind faith is main ingredient in belief system and yoga.   Gurudom is playing with words because maybe the meaning is floating somewhere in between the spaces of words...
People who think themselves to be in a position to air their knowledge forget one basic fact, namely that they go by mere appearances. Someone expounds knowledge and the one who receives it begins to ape the person from whom he has received the knowledge.  They never question the validity of that knowledge.
Thus, whatever the guru wears, he will wear; whatever mannerisms the guru affects, he will imitate.  Thus, they only learn to pretend. And all so-called accumulated knowledge" is mere speculation based on the physical self/ego. This is how tradition became established and traditional forms of worship come into being and passed it on the one generation to the next.  All these have nothing to do with the Self- Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Whatever One has heard, whatever he has been told, will have no value as far as the ultimate point of view. Whether one accepts the fact that the only knowledge that he u really has is the knowledge that he exists, that is consciousness. Other than that, whatever knowledge he thinks he has as a person, is part of the illusion, something acquired, based on the illusory consciousness.
The realization of truth is not intellectual understanding. Self- Realization is about realizing the fact that, the self is not physical, but it is the formless soul or consciousness or spirit.  Intellectual and logical /analytical perspective is based on the false self, will not help the seeker to reach his non-dual destination. The truth is beyond intellectual understanding and only the serious seekers who are free from preconceived accumulated ideas can get there.
The seeker of truth moves a head by verifying the facts and by removing all the obstacles and reaches his non-dual destination.
As the conviction of formless substance and witness grows stronger and firmer, the illusion looses its luster and becomes one with the stuff it is made out of.

Ultimate Truth cannot be found in Books.

Since the seed does not contain anything other than the seed, even the flowers and the fruits are of the same nature as the seed: the substance of the seed is the substance of subsequent effects, too. Even so, the three states do not give rise to anything other than what it is in essence. When this truth is realized, duality ceases.

He who knows the fact that, the soul as the true Self , breaks through the belief that, the self is the body and the world as reality. Such seeker  is united with the soul, which is ultimate truth. The one who thinks he is born in this world and the world existed prior to him will not be able to grasp and realize the non-dual truth.

Through rectified the reasoning base from form to formless, one will reach the state of unity from experience of diversity.

Ultimate Truth cannot be found in Books. Ultimate can be only found  through soul-centric reasoning. People are gradually realizing the fact that, the belief system is not the means to Self-Realization but it is an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth of Brahman. Many Spiritual seekers are now more curious about Realization of Truth but unfortunately they throng to Books, Not to inquire.

Many sounds a strong convictioned and their knowledge is based only on Books and others opinions. They support their arguments with References from philosophical books or scriptures or so-called wise-men without any verification.   Just Remember for every strong argument there will be a counter argument.  The truth is always based on the formless; therefore what is the use of arguing on the base of the  form, which is the cause of ignorance. In ignorance one ignores the Truth itself.

Those who get involved in Theological debates, which are based on the form as self, will get only hallucinated realization based on speculation.

Truth has to be proved right here and right now

There is no need of scriptures or guru  in pursuit of truth.  The soul, the innermost self  is the real guru. There is no need wasting  your  money or time to search for the truth. accepting anyone as guru or accepting your self as someone's disciple is the greatest obstacle in pursuit of truth.   The non-dual  truth will be reveled  only when the seeker drops the accumulated dross.  Seeker of truth  has to have the courage to reject religious ideas ,God and guru  glorification and Scriptures to become receptive to non dual  truth.

When the ultimate truth is rightly known and one attains eternal life thereby. Through soul, the innermost self he gains strength and through its knowledge immortality.

Not by intellectual   speculation but only by an awakening to the reality of his true existence he gets soul-centric vision. Soul, the innermost self’s nature is like state of deep sleep.

Religion, yoga and intellectualism are not the means to acquire self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Without getting rid of the ignorance and trying to get self-awareness through religion and yoga is like a sleeping man trying to know what he is about, without waking up. As sleep is to waking, so is ordinary life to the state of realization.

The one who identifies himself as swami, guru or yogi is not a Gnani. A Gnani never identifies himself as swami, guru, pundit or yogi. Swami, guru, pundit or yogi belongs to religious and yogic path not to path of truth or wisdom.

Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”

Sri, Sankara's commentary:-

Page 489: "The knower of Brahman (self-realized or Gnani) wears no signs.  Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

On page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life,…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."

Truth has to be proved right here(in this very life)  and right now(not in the  next life or in the  next world). Seeker of truth should not accept   anything blindly  without verifying through deeper inquiry.  Mental chewing is necessary by sound reasoning on the on the base of the soul, which is the true self. It takes time to learn to view and judge  the worldview on the base of the soul as self. If one is  serious in his pursuit it matters very little.   seeker should  not accept what  I say as truth, without verifying through deeper inquiry and reasoning. Think deeply  and reflect constantly , then only the inner revelation will start, and you will start getting answers from within and you will be able to move ahead in your inner journey.

When the self is not the body but formless consciousness then what the use of hearing the sound is, seeing light, feeling vibration in the spine.

MYSTICISM could lead to big trouble. MYSTICISM, for one thing, might result in endless rationalizations like "If I am god, then whatever I do is right," and so on. The result: More people justifying their violence in the name of god.  and it also  turns the people  into a sheepish mentality. The result: The duality or illusion  becomes reality.

In short, religion  builds a strong ego, though one may call it by different names, and also it destroys all freedom to reason. The path of  devotion, love keeps one in the grip of emotion  and emotion keeps one in the bondage of illusion.Illusion keep one in bondage of duality . duality keep one in bondage of ignorance.  ignorance makes one feel the experience of birth, life, death and the world reality.

The ego keeps one in the prison of burden and bondage.  The only way to resolve it is to understand the fact that the  ego is not the "Self" before plunging into pursuit of truth.

For an inflated ego, Philosophy  merely acts as an opium, so the best thing to do would be realizing the  fact that, the ego is not the "self".   it is impossible  to destroy the ego because, ego is part of the illusion. The ignorance is the cause of the illusion. If one overcomes the   ignorance,  then  the wisdom dawns. When wisdom dawns the ego, body and the world becomes unreal on the standpoint of the true self , the innermost soul.    No philosophy  is essential in pursuit of truth  because, philosophies  are based on the ego or physical self.

Pursuit of truth  more important than all Philosophical  theories put together. So there is need to investigate the truth instead of arguing  about which philosophy is correct, why it  is flawed, or why  it is wrong and all that!

When the self is not the body but formless consciousness then what the use of hearing the sound is, seeing light, feeling vibration in the spine.  When body, sound, feeling, sight and ego and the world are made of single stuff, and that stuff is formless consciousness, which is the innermost self.

All these sound, light, vibration belongs to Yoga prescribed by the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogaananda [PY] and also in Radhaosomi.  I also used to get all that type of experience when I was practicing Yoga [PY] for many years. But all that body based practices did not satisfy my inner urge to the ultimate truth.

Experience belongs to individuality. And individuality is falsehood. There is neither individual nor his experience in reality.

Man and his experience of the world cannot exist without waking experience. Whatever we are discussing, we are discussing within the waking experience, which is mere illusion from ultimate standpoint.  Thus whatever is known, seen, believed and experienced as a person is bound to be falsehood.

The path of religion, path of yoga and path of wisdom is meant for different classes of people. Mixing up with one another is like mixing oil in water.

When soul or consciousness remains aware of itself, then it is non-dual self-awareness.

While man  has always known that he exists, but  he  never really investigated with what he is able to exist and perceive the world?

Does the "Self "have a place where it starts?

Does  the "Self" have a place where it ends?

Does "Self"  appear to be bound by form, time and space?

Is"Self" always the same or ever changing?

Did "Self " get older as the physical  body aged?

Is it constant or moving or   it will ever be different?

Can anyone, even for a moment, get out of it?

If waking or dream vanishes  would the "Self"   still be present?

Does anything affect the 'self"?

Is it  physical presence or is it just awareness?

The self exists as formless substance and witness of   illusion or universe or mind. The self  that one  know is there but it is not and entity or identity within the illusion, which appears  as waking and dream and disappears as deep sleep.

One becomes aware of the fact that the soul, the innermost self  , what is being pointed to with words like formless, spaceless and timeless, is the formless stuff from which the whole experience of diversity is  made.

The  awareness is  the nature of the formless  soul ,which is present in the form of  consciousness. Formless soul or consciousness is the innermost self.  The  awareness is the formless substance of the experience of diversity. Awareness  is something that one is  sure of and there is no need or reason to question it but one has to be come aware of the fact that, awareness is one ,not many, and diversity is mere illusion on the standpoint of  the awareness as self.

When soul or consciousness remains aware of itself, then  it is non-dual  self-awareness.

The whole physical existence in which consists man and his experience of the world becomes mere mirage.

When one becomes aware of the fact that, the ‘Self’ is not form, but formless, then he also becomes aware that, thinking and the words which are based on the form becomes meaningless. On the base of the formless self, the whole physical existence in which consists man and his experience of the world becomes mere mirage.

The dream is witnessed as a whole, without the physical apparatus .Similarly, the waking also is witnessed without the physical apparatus. Therefore, it is necessary to trace the formless witness  of the three states in order to grasp the non-dual truth. The waking entity is not the self; therefore, quest of truth becomes very difficult path because we base ourselves on the waking entity.  Therefore, rectifying the reasoning base from form to formless is necessary before indulging in pursuit of truth.

Till  one reaches the perfect understanding, the thinking and words are useful to assimilate the non-dual truth. When all doubts and confusion which are holding one to believe, the physical existence as reality gets cleared, then one realizes the fact that, the thinking and the thoughts and experiences and the words are part of the mirage. Until one remains unaware of the fact that the self is formless, he is bound to believe whatever he has seen, known, believed and experienced as a person, as reality. Until he believes his –self as a person he is bound to believe the birth, life and death (duality/mind) or pleasure and pain (duality/mind) as reality.

They alone in this world are endowed with the highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and birthlessness of the Self/Spirit. The people who are not sharp and receptive does not understand their way

Everyone is smart enough to understand assimilate the self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. however, because of their inborn and  inherited conditioning or samskara  from grooming and circumstances, they are  in the grip of duality, which they  think, it as reality. A soul-centric reasoning  will lead the seeking mind towards perfect understanding and assimilation of non-dual truth.

All the virtues and generosity are necessary in physical plane, but they are not the means to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. One has to do mental effort to assimilate the effortless existence. One has to spend time to understand the time less existence. One has to understand and realize the fact that, the ultimate truth is beyond form, time and space and until we do not understand that fact we are in the grip of duality and we will continue in the words of others without verifying their validity.

Until we have the yardstick to know what truth is, and what is untruth, whatever we read and try to assimilate will not yield any fruits. Therefore, it is necessary to realize the fact that, the true self is not the form but formless. On the standpoint of the formless self, the whole physical existence is mere mirage. The man and his experience of the world exist even in the dream. The dream becomes unreal, when waking takes place. The waking in which you and me are discussing the truth becomes unreal, when the non-dual wisdom dawns. Thus, it is necessary to understand the fact that, the waking is parallel dream and dream is parallel waking experience. The one which is aware of the coming and going of the three states is formless and apart. This truth has to be grasped to realize the non-dual truth.

The only way to understand assimilate and realize the non-dual truth is to focus the attention on the formless substance and witness of the mind.

It is for every seeker who is in the path of truth to prove himself to know “What is truth, “and “What is untruth?” through deeper self-search, to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

People who are yearning for spiritual truth will not find it through intellectual speculation and assumption. Intellectual truth is individual truth. The urge to know the truth cannot be imposed on others.  It has to sprout within. One need not become holy Shepard because the holy Shepard is within to guide every seeker.

Thus, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant only for those who have intense urge, and courage to accept the truth with humility and reject the untruth. Since people start comparing with their scriptural and intellectual knowledge, it becomes impossible to assimilate and realize the non-dual truth.   Therefore, there is no need to convince anyone other than our own-selves to get the firm conviction.

It is for every seeker who is in the path of truth to prove himself to know “What is truth, “and “What is untruth?” through deeper self-search, to assimilate the Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Intellectual wisdom is limited form, time and space whereas non-dual wisdom (self-knowledge or brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana) is beyond form, time and space. Intellectual wisdom is egocentric whereas non-dual wisdom is soul-centric.  It is impossible acquire non-dual wisdom or Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana only through intellectuality.  Intellectuality helpful only to understand the truth intellectually but realization comes only when subconscious bases rectified from egocentricity to soul-centricity.

People who are yearning for spiritual truth will not find it through intellectual speculation and assumption. Intellectual truth is individual truth.

Thus, Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant only for those who have intense urge, and courage to accept the truth with humility and reject the untruth

By becoming more and more intellectual one becomes more and more intoxicated to individuality. The intellectuality is limited to duality.  In realm of truth the intellectuality is replaced by non-dual wisdom.  There is nothing exist other than formless non dual existence. There is no second thing exists, other than consciousness.  Everything is one, that is, unity in diversity.

When self is without the physical apparatus, then how one can get freedom through sex?

Through Tantra, Yantra and Mantra one will not get freedom from ignorance. These entire concepts are based on speculation imagination based on the ego, which is false elf within the false experience.  Deeper self-search  revels the fact that, the “Self “is not physical but it is the formless soul, which is present in the form of  consciousness.

When self is without the physical apparatus, then how one can get freedom through sex? Only people after sex undertake such tantric venture. Sex is nothing to do with self –realization or spirituality, because the true self is not the form but self is formless.  By realizing the fact that, self is not physical, leads one to realize the physical existence is mere mirage, on the standpoint of the soul or consciousness , the innermost self. Therefore sex and sexual activities are   part of the mirage.   Whatever is happening within the mirage is bound to be falsehood. Sex nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman.

People mostly innocent westerners become scapegoats in the hands of these fake god men and promise male and female ecstasy, including the use of sexual energy for increased intimacy/ spiritual connection, pleasure, harmony, and freedom.  The self realization is realizing the self is the not the physical body, but the soul, which is in the form of spirit or consciousness.

The seekers who are searching for the ultimate  truth has to be aware of the fact that, the ultimate truth, which they are searching, is beyond Religion, Yoga, Tantra  Theories, and glorifying God and Gurus.
