The mind, which is in the form universe, does not disappear after self-realization but the ignorance disappears***

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that: ~ The ‘I’ merges with the soul and becomes one with it.   The ‘I’ becomes ‘I-LESS. On the standpoint of the soul, the innermost self, the form, time and space are one in essence.  

When the self is not the form then it is erroneous to relate the self to time and space, because the self is formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

The self is not that which born, lives and dies within the unreal world. Afterlife is nothing to do with the self, because the self is not an individual. The self is the soul, which is present in the form of the spirit or the consciousness.

When the self is birthless, then how can one relate the self to the birth, life, death and the world, because the self is ever formless? : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The unreal nature of the mind or universe is exposed.  The Gnani is fully aware of the fact that, his body and his experience of the universe, that is, the whole waking experience is a mere mirage created out of consciousness.   Knowing truth in the midst of illusion is wisdom.  Thus, he becomes free from experiencing the illusion as reality. 

This is the reason why one has to realize the fact that, self is not ‘I’, but ‘I’ is the mind. And mind is not limited to the physical entity but mind is the whole universe that appears as the whole waking or dream experience.

 When the self is not the body the body based inquiry is not of any use.  Therefore, one has to inquire and reason on the base of the formless self in order to unfold the mystery of the mind or universe, which appears as waking or dream (duality)  experience and disappears as deep sleep(nonduality). 

Once total abidance takes place, and then there are no more any externalities, for all of them would have subsided in the very bosom of the one who was inquiring and he becomes aware of the fact that, the mind and the soul are one in essence.  The essence is consciousness. And there is no second thing other than the consciousness that is the true realization of Advaitic truth.   

When the soul, the innermost self stabilizes in its own awareness, then it will transcend the illusory ‘I’***

All reality has its source in Brahman. All reality has its grounding sustenance in Brahman. It is in Brahman that all reality has its ultimate repose. Vedas specifically, is consciously and exclusively aiming toward this reality termed Brahman.

The seekers aim is the search for the Ultimate Truth or Brahman, the search to find the non-dualistic truth that in actuality never was lost, only hidden.

As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent truth of the soul, the innermost  self, which is hidden by illusion and its effects, is to be attained through self-knowledge  followed by reflection, and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Therefore, the seekers of truth  have to  personally strive by all the means in their power to be free from the bondage of  the illusory experience of birth,life,death and the world (duality).

Thus,  one has to know what is real by realizing our body and our experience of the world is mere illusion created out of the soul or consciousness. The soul is the innermost self.  The nature of the soul, the innermost self is emptiness. And it is identified by different masters with a different name, such as God or Brahman or Self or God.

The soul, the innermost self is beyond the form, time and  the space.  The soul is present in the form of the spirit (consciousness) . The form, time and the space are created out of a single stuff.  And that single stuff is the soul or the spirit.  The knowledge of the single stuff is the self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. The  Formless Path is a path to realizing the fact that, the self is not  the form (mind) but formless soul.

Thus, the self-knowledge makes one realize   the soul or the spirit  alone is real and the form,time and the space are mere an illusion.

The soul (spirit)   is self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the soul, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. The soul  is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions and proofs. The soul is the innermost  self.  The soul  is within, the soul  is without; the soul is  before, the soul  is behind; the soul is on the right, the soul is on the left; the soul is above and the soul is below.  Until one thinks his body as the  body, ego as  the ego the universe as the  universe,  he remains in ignorance,  because he is still in ignorance and he is unaware of the fact that,  they too are the soul,which is present in the form of spirit.  

Advaita sages agreed in nearly all points with Buddha***

Buddha was a Gnani, but his interpreters are not. Buddha did not enter into scriptural interpretation. So the Vedic people  threw him out of their religion.

Advaita sages agreed in nearly all points with Buddha. Buddhism has failed through misunderstanding Gautama and believing that nothing is left to exist after Nirvana. What is it that sees the illusory nature of the finite ego? This is what the Buddhism need to answer and cannot on their theories.

Advaitic sages say:~  It is the Seer. The Buddhists are in error in regarding the finite ego as illusory, and as having nothing more behind it: but they would have been perfectly correct in such outlook had they added the notion of the Seer or Witness. How is it that Skandas come together and compose the ego? Who sees them come and go? It is the Witness or the seer, the Atman, which is in the form of consciousness and through by amazing the formless witness and witnessed (universe) one becomes aware of the existence of the formless witness mentally.

When they say that, the  mind  comes and goes they are forgetting that there must be another part of the mind as consciousness which notices it and which tells them of this disappearance and appearance. All their misunderstandings arise from the fact that Buddhism does not penetrate to find the  answer to the ultimate questions. The truth of a single reality within or underlying the illusory universe or mind is all-important and without it Buddhism becomes fallacious.

The ultimate truth can be realized without Buddhism or Advaitic teaching if one is ready to inquire analyze and reason on the base of the true Self. Therefore, it is necessary to make sure of the fact that, the 'Self' is not the form but self is formless, then rectify the reasoning base, from form to formless to understand, and assimilate and realize the Advaitic  truth. 

Mundaka Upanishad:~ This Atman cannot be attained through study of the Vedas, nor through intelligence, nor through much learning. He who chooses Atman—by him alone is Atman attained. It is Atman that reveals to the seeker Its true nature. (3 –page-70 Mundaka Upanishad  Upanishads by Nikilanada)

When the Upanishads says:  the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge and they indicate the personal gods, scriptures, worship and rituals are not the means to Self –Knowledge, then why anyone should indulge in it. The religion, concept of individualized god and scriptures are the greatest obstacle to  Self-realization because they are based on false self.  The seeker of truth has to search the ultimate truth without losing himself in the labyrinths of philosophy, through deeper, inquiry, analysis and reasoning and assimilate and realize it.

The soul or the consciousness is a real God.***

Blinded with the illusion very few grasp the Advaitic truth. Only  a few escape from the web of illusion by getting rid of the ignorance. Only few seekers are able to acquire Advaitic  wisdom.

Experience of diversity (form) becomes oneness in deep sleep and Oneness (formless) becomes diversity in waking or dream. Therefore, that which becomes the diversity (form), and that which becomes Oneness (formless) is not our physical entity, because the physical entity is present only in waking and dream. The one, which is aware of all the three states, is formless, apart and eternal which is the soul. The soul itself is ultimate truth or Brahman or emptiness.  

The soul, the innermost self is neither the body, nor the mind, nor the intellect, nor the world. The soul, the innermost self is neither the breath, nor the body.

The soul, the innermost self is  present in the form of the consciousness.  The universe  is a  mere mirage created out of the consciousness.  Thus, there is no second thing other than the consciousness.

Vedas declare  holding anything else other than the soul  as God,  is ignorance.   The one which powers the illusion is the soul or the  consciousness  is real God.  God  is real and eternal.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The Advaitic truth is beyond the mind. The mind is present  in the form of the universe.  The universe is present in the form of the form,time and the space.  the  man and his individual   experiences happens within the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality)  and disappears as deep sleep (deep sleep).  

Every man has an initial urge to know the truth about his own self,  since, he is conditioned by parental grooming and religious restrictions he follows the inherited path, which keeps him in the prison of ignorance permanently. the ignorance  makes him to experience the birth, life, death and the world  as a  reality.    The one who has an intense urge to realize the truth  will discard his inherited conditioning and tries to venture  to find  the truth  beyond religion, yoga and theories. 

The deeper investigation reveals the fact that, all the three states, which comes and goes, are illusory in their nature,  and the soul, the  formless witness of the three states is real and eternal.  

The three states are mere mirage created out of  the soul,which is present in the form of the consciousness. the soul is the innermost self.  The witness and witnessed are one in essence. That essence is  the soul or the consciousness.  Therefore, the consciousness alone is real and all else is mere an illusion. There is no duality in reality,  hence, it is non-dual.    The one who realized this truth is a Gnani. 

A Gnani is one who knows the fact that,  he, his body and his experience of the universe are mere a  mirage created out of  the consciousness. Therefore, he is fully aware of the fact that, everything is  made of the consciousness.  The forms, names and words create division within the consciousness.  From the ultimate standpoint , the forms, names and words lose their meaning.  And whatever exits without the forms, name and words,  is  real and eternal. 

The ultimate truth cannot be explained, it cannot be argued, it cannot be theorized, nor it can be discussed and understood through intellectuality nor it can be experienced. It can only be realized.   

Vedas never accept another God in place of the Atman.*****

Vedas never accept another God in place of the Atman. All Hindu Gods are Puranic Gods.  Puranas deals with symbols Puranas are not history; it is concerned with objective reality. Puranas are not concerned with subjective reality. These Puranic  Gods do not exist outside the physical existence, but they have a psychological existence and that psychological existence is a great hindrance to realizing the reality beyond the form, time, and space.

 So the first thing to be understood is that Puranic Gods are not real persons in the world, but they are mere belief. The belief creates a barricade and hides the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Lord Krishna says: ~ “Those who know me in truth". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God. (Ch~ V.)

“Know me in truth”: ~   It means to know God without the form, time, space and name.

On Vedic perspective, Lord Krishna is not Vedic God because Rig Veda says:   May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?"

The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27)

People, who worship the belief of God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

In Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ It has been said that God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions. Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

When Upanishads and Vedas declare that “God is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself” then why to accept another God in place of the Atman or worship other than the Atman.

People, who worship the belief of God, are hallucinating that they become one with such God.

According to Yajur Veda: ~ They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, idol, etc. - (Yajurved 40:9)

Those who worship visible things born of the Prakriti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."- (Yajur Veda 40:9.)

Then why anyone has to indulge in idol worship which is not God when Rig Veda clearly says:  “May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Worshipping non~Vedic Gods in place of real God they fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time (Yajur Veda 40:9.).

Santana Dharma or Vedic religion emphasizes on Self-realization is quintessence.  

Thus, Self-realization is God realization. The Self-realization is real worship. There is no other worship other than Self-realization.:~Santthosh Kumaar
