Are you on the right path to acquire Advaitic or Non-dualistic wisdom?

Sage Sri,Sankara said:- Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

The soul, the innermost self has to be free from experiencing the duality as reality.  To overcome the duality, the waking entity has to know it itself is not the self but the self is the soul, which witnesses coming and going of the three states.  Thus self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary to realize ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’ to reject the untruth by accepting the truth.FORMLESS PATH

If one claims that that he has seen individualized God and God is doing this or that he is hallucinating with his inherited belief. He did not see God doing it? He is simply hallucinating.

God is only a settled fact for believers, but for others God’s existence is problematic. The truth of Organized Religion can only be proved by physical strength or by imagination, or power of the weapon or power and force, never by reason.

Scientists yet to discover the mysteries beyond form, time and space, they may discover something in the future.” Many mystics claim to know the mystery unknown to science is known to them. Without proof it is foolish to believe Mysticism is the fulfillment of science.”

Second-hand knowledge of the self, gathered from books or gurus can never emancipate a man until its truth is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization will do that. Realize yourself, turning the mind inward.

Are you on the right path to acquire Advaitic or Non-dualistic wisdom?
In this hi fi world many self-declared Spiritual Gurus are born like mushroom amidst us and they are looked upon as a great solace by the mass of gullible people, who are more ‘peace and wisdom hungry.  Most seekers are looking for something beyond their inherited belief system. Most of this dollar hungry gurus hankering after titles and honours and enjoying it like these modern day self-styled gurus and they are connected to one or other controversies and scandals.
People get stuck with these modern self-proclaimed gurus who claimed to be enlightened.  Many of these Gurus have taken many new “avatars” like Corporate Gurus, Universal Gurus, online Gurus, Global Gurus, one name it, he will find  them. The honest gurus and swamis never come to limelight and they remain minding their own inherited divine business remains aloof from the publicity.

There are so many   gurus who have overnight become Global Gurus. They only play with the feelings of people. Most of them are propagating ancient yogic practices as if it is their own great new invention and branding them or getting them patented,   this is the height of the mockery of spirituality. As long as innocent and ignorant people are there, these kinds of Gurus can flourish their business to a peak height. They cannot only fool the mass of people but also the people in political power.

The Religion needs a guru to propagate its belief system, whereas in pursuit of truth there is no need for a guru. The ultimate truth has to be ascertained by the seeker alone.  Yoga needs a guru to guide its student to practice Samadhi.

Religion encourages the one  who can induce himself to feel convinced that he has realized the Self, or has  an admirer who believes that he has done so, then it  opens up for  him the way for the founding of a new sect based on Guru-worship. People, too, have developed curious credulousness. Often they would install an earnest seeker and devotee, or a pious saint, on the throne of God and begin to offer him worship and homage even if he protested and resisted such acts. They would lay prostrate, sing hymns, wave lights (arati) and burn incense before him, and present to him food which was to be returned by him as prasada, wash his toes and sip the wash. At times the disciple would go to the length of getting food, fruit or a betel-nut leaf chewed by him, and taking the morsel back from it.

They would place his photo in the private temples of their homes and perform all these rites and ceremonies which are usually offered to the temple-idols.  In this way there might be at present in our country scores of individuals who are worshiped as living God, with a following varying in numbers.

If one is seeking truth one has to drop all religious based dogmas and blind beliefs ritualistic baggage and move forward in their pursuit of truth.

Yogic or religious truth is individual truth, not universal.  The mystics cannot claim that they have experienced the whole.  There is no proof they have seen it, because the whole is not an individual experience. The man and the world are within the whole.

If they say, “they know from experience” they merely assume so.” mystic experience is based on ego thus it is part of the illusion. Self realization is not an individual experience.  The yoga and mysticism are individualized truth. Since they consider the ‘I’ as self they cannot know the Universal self (Atman or the whole).

"Organized Religion's place God as the unknown reality”. Every Organized Religionists has a different idea of God. Everyone has a different idea of reality or truth. Hence there is need of definition before the study.

The fallacy of Religionists appeal to scripture lies in the varying and conflicting interpretations of the same scripture, which different men feel, entitled to give or hold.

The Yogi or mystic who sees or experiences something in his meditation, which he takes as the highest is mere individual experience, within the false experience (waking) “whatever is based on individuality is not the ultimate truth or Reality.

God belongs to individuality. No one can prove the existence of God. God cannot exist without the believer.  Therefore god is dependent on man for his existence. Thus there is a need to verify man’s existence in order to unfold the mystery of one’s own existence.

Sage Sri, Sankara' gave religious, ritual or dogmatic instruction to the mass but pure philosophy only to the few who could rise to it. Hence the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

When Sage Sri, Sankara says:- the world is an illusion, it includes the experince of the birth, life and death, which happens within the illusory  world.  Thus the seekers main aim is to mentally trace the formless substance of the illusion, which is also the witness of the illusion. The formless substance and witness of the illusion (world) is the Ataman, and this Atman itself is Brahman. This Brahman cannot be attained by indulging in egocentric religious orthodoxy.

The knower of Brahman is Brahmin not the Brahmin who indulges in priest craft, which leads one to utter darkness as per Yajur Veda.

Brahmin is the one who has realized the Brahman (ultimate truth) and helps fellow seekers towards inner path. The one who knows Brahman knows his body and his experience of the world are mere illusion and also he knows his body and his experience of the world are also as Ataman (consciousness), which is Brahman.  Thus, the priest craft which are crafted on the body based theories will lead one to hallucinated moksha. But real moksha or freedom is possible only through nondual wisdom.

Thus it is necessary to follow the path of Brahman not the path of the orthodox priest- craft. Only by   dropping all the accumulated priest crafted Baggage, one has to move forward to reach the nodal destination in lesser time and effort.
