There no vessel to ferry man across the ocean of illusory form, time and space except Gnana or wisdom.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes. Such concocted Gods are mere belief.  Faith in religion weakens as man pays more attention to facts of life and this world. People, who argue that truth is only in their religion, are vain logicians, depending on mere ideas, imaginations.

Kabir views humanity as being caught up in illusion, searching for Ultimate Reality in all the wrong places, always seeking It outside of ourselves in various rituals, temples, forests and mountaintops, not realizing That for which we seek is already hidden within us.

Without the self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana it is impossible to cross the illusory ocean of the pain and pleasure.  There no vessel to ferry man across the ocean of illusory form, time and space except Gnana or wisdom.

What is Gnana? Gnana means the full and firm realization of truth – a realization beyond all doubts, change and contradiction.

Neither the control of breath, or regulating the breath, nor the performance of selfless service, nor by devotion to gods and gurus, not the performance of penance, nor pilgrimaging, nor by yoga nor by scriptural mastery, the ignorance will not vanish. But only   through nondual wisdom the ignorance can be eradicated.  The three states are state of ignorance. All the three states are falsehood. The formless substance and witness of the three states is real and eternal.

Sri Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam says: - [Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena] - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

One must make an effort to know the ultimate truth. Self, which is in the form of consciousness, is there always. One has got it, there is nothing new to be acquired, only have the sharp enough to see and understand and assimilate it, when told about it. But there is a difference between understanding and realization.

Belief system and mysticism are so much preferred to wisdom because one has only to imagine, not to inquire and reason. The first is easy, the second is hard.

Belief system and mysticism is a species of mesmerism affecting weaker or impressionable people. Thus the panoply of a religious guru's religious robes and religious oriented life style creates unconscious suggestion in weaker minds of a superior power or magical knowledge. Similarly visitors to ashrams are suggested into thinking they experience great peace because they are unconsciously hypnotized into believing that will happen. But when a strong disciplined rationalistic mind meets a yogi, religious guru or visits an ashram, he is entirely unaffected.

Scriptures are being added to from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

Belief system is Successful in propagating the life after death theory: -   what happens after death-- nobody can deny it because nobody has seen what happens after death it is mere assumption. When the self is formless than it birth less and deathless. This theory based on the physical self is false theory because true self is not physical.

Nobody can disprove when some mystics even claim that they have seen God by intuition. But the onus of proof is on those who make an assertion. Mystics are required to prove; the burden to disprove is not on their critics.

Each person sees in his own Samadhi whatever is uppermost in his mind. How does he/she or anyone know that what he/she or anyone sees is the ultimate truth? Similarly each has intuitions agreeable to what is uppermost in his mind.

Believers who are anxious for a mystic or occult experience often get it. But it is only a mental construction of their own, suggested originally from outside.

Mystic may say that the spirit is the source of all good, but the question of questions is how does he know that it is the source? That is mere scholastic dogma until an attempt to show, to analyze and prove that it is the source, is made, then it becomes higher truth.

How is one to know that He is God suppose he sees God in his vision ?  His mere statement is not enough. He must have proof; he must show that what he saw is God.  How can anyone sees God when whatever seen, known, believed and experienced as person of the world are reality within the waking experience but the  whole waking experience  itself is falsehood.

If waking entity(ego) is not the self than why one has to argue or discuss on the base of the waking entity(ego) as self.

Brihadaranyaka Upanishad says: - In that unitive state there is neither father nor mother, neither worlds nor gods nor even Scriptures. In that state there is neither thief nor slayer, neither low caste nor high, neither Monk nor ascetic. The Self is beyond good and evil, beyond all the suffering of the human Heart

Preliminarily inquiry reveals the fact that,   the self is neither the waking entity not the self is dream entity but the self is formless soul or consciousness. Even after verifying this fact   still everyone is viewing and judging the three states on the base of waking entity   and passing their judgment and opinion on the base of the waking entity (ego), which is not the self. Therefore, it becomes impossible assimilate the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana without   rectifying the base of reasoning from form (I), to formless (I-LESS or Soul).

If the waking entity (ego) is not the self than why one has to argue or discuss on the base of the waking entity (ego) as the self.

The karma or action is reality only when one accepts the waking entity (ego) as self, that is accepting the formless soul or consciousness itself as waking entity (body or ego). If waking entity (ego) is self, then it has to be immortal.  If the waking entity (body or ego) is immortal then there is no death. If there is no death, then there is no birth. Therefore, soul-centric judgment is very much necessary to understand and assimilate and realize the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The action, love and   virtue are very much necessary in practical life within the practical world. But they are not qualification for self-realization.   The freedom arises only when one becomes aware of the true existence, which is beyond form, time and space. Thus whatever is based on the form is an illusion from the ultimate standpoint.

The one which is aware of the form, time and space is not the form but formless.  The intellectuality based on the form is not wisdom. Thus one has to use his reason and base it on the formless self to understand, assimilate and realize the non-dual truth, which is the ultimate truth. Thus all intellectual theories based on the form, time and space are mere imagination based on the form, which is a false self (ego) within the false experience (universe or waking).

Thus, there would be no freedom   without understanding facts about the Mind or the universe.   Intellectuality is limited to form, time and space. Thus reason based on the formless self has to be used to grasp the truth, which is beyond birth, life, death and the world.

Thus belief, actions, conducts, love, virtue, scriptural mastery, religion, rituals, prayers which are mere theories based on the false self are great hindrances in realizing the non-dual truth, which is the ultimate truth.

All religious theories are meant for those who believe in the practical life within the practical world as reality,  because they are not verified the truth of their true existence. When one verifies the fact  about his true existence through deeper self-search then he realizes , the self is not form but self is formless consciousness (soul)  then he becomes aware of the fact that,  the practical life within the practical world is mere illusion created out of consciousness.

The practical life within the practical world is nothing to do with the formless soul, the innermost self. The practical knowledge within the practical world is  is not wisdom but it is knowledge based on ignorance. The real wisdom is non-dual wisdom, which arise only when ignorance vanishes.

Without the self-knowledge or brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana it is impossible to cross the illusory ocean of the pain and pleasure

There no vessel to ferry man across the ocean of illusory form, time and space except Gnana.

But only   through non-dual wisdom the ignorance can be eradicated.  The three states are state of ignorance. All the three states are falsehood. The formless substance and witness of the three states is real and eternal.

Sri Sankara, in Bhaja Govindam says: - (Jnana Viheena Sarva Mathena Bajathi na Muktim janma Shatena) - one without knowledge does not obtain liberation even in a hundred births, no matter which religious faith he follows.

The mind is in the form of Universe. Universe appears as waking or dream. Waking as it presents itself is unreal, same way as the dream. Thus waking or dream is simply illusion created out of consciousness.  To the man within the universe it is not an illusion because he has the conviction that he is an individual separate form the universe and he is born in this universe and universe existed prior to him.  Until this conviction is there he is bound to believe the birth, life, death and universe as reality.  Only in deeper self-search he becomes aware of the fact that, the mind is not within the body but body and the universe are within the mind.   And he also becomes aware of the fact that mind itself is the whole universe ,which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.

To think once own body and his experience of the world is an illusion is difficult matter, unless one realizes the self is not physical but it is formless soul it is difficult to have glimpse of truth.

When one realizes the fact that, the self is not physical but the formless soul, naturally the body and universe becomes illusion.

The mind (universe) is emanating from soul (consciousness) means the mind is being effect from consciousness is not different from it. Deeper analysis shows it. Analysis needs deeper thinking and reasoning. Mind is whole universe thus it has a form. But where is the form in consciousness 9soul) because consciousness is like an ocean and mind is like wave.  The universe is same consciousness, as the ocean produces the wave, so the consciousness produces the mind (universe).

The moment one knows the mind [universe] is consciousness, and then there is no ignorance. If one knows consciousness as self then everything is consciousness, the consciousness is second to none.  The mind is consciousness but due to ignorance one mistakes it for something else. One thinks the self is within the body; but the self is without the body and the world.

Mind ceases to exist without the matter. Without the matter mind ceases to exist as mind but it exists as matter- less awareness or consciousness. Without the mind neither the world nor its perceiver can exist.

Without the matter there is no duality. Without duality there is no experience. Without experience it is non-dual reality. Therefore, whatever prevails without the mind is ultimate reality.

The true nature of the soul (consciousness) is camouflaged by the illusion/duality.  To know the truth one has to discover and realize the formless substance of the mind or illusion. One has to learn to view and judge the worldview on the standpoint the formless soul as self.   Self-Knowledge is the prime goal of the truth seeker. This goal is hidden within the mind as its invisible substance and witness. Therefore, it is necessary inquiry, analyze and reason in to the nature of mind/ duality/illusion in order to unfold the mystery of mind or duality or illusion.

The validity of the judgments which one continually pass on events taking place around him is not denied but all these experiences are happening within the universe (waking or dream) is mere illusion. It is true that the phenomenal world is the outcome of ignorance, but it has a certain relative reality but the relative reality is mere illusion from ultimate standpoint.  Thus the relative reality is based on the false self within the false experience because there is no second thing exist other than consciousness thus there is only non-dual reality.

Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant for those who are in search for the reality of their true existence

Ashtavakra Gita page 224:- It is not the absence of buddhi that can grasp Advaita but the man who possesses the highest intellect. Brains are necessary. Such a man, by merely hearing the truth mentioned will know it.

Self –knowledge  or  Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is meant for those who are in search for the reality of their true existence. In pursuit of truth one need not go detail about the physical body and the world, but one has to know the unreal nature of mind in which the physical body and the world exists. The physical existence is dependent on mind, if mind is there the physical existence is there. Absent of mind is absent of physical existence. Therefore there is need to understand what is the mind, in pursuit of truth.

The deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning reveal the fact that,  the self is not physical but it is the  formless soul (consciousness or spirit) . If self is not physical then what is the use of searching and trying to understand and assimilate the truth on physical base. Therefore there is a need to rectify the reasoning base from physical to the spirit base,  in order to understand and assimilate the Self-Knowledge. All the doubts and confusion will disappear as one learns to view and judge and reason on the base of the soul,  which is in the form of consciousness. The soul is the  innermost self.

Reasoning on the base of the soul as self  helps to the self-examine, to test how near to the wisdom  the seeker has approached, what progress has been already been made in this regard and what still remains to be accomplished. It sets a criterion of self-judgment.

The seeker can lead an active life without involving himself in religion, god glorification, or studying scriptures and yogic practice nor indulge in Atheism.

Intense urge of knowing the truth of true existence through perfect understanding by using reason on the base of the soul, the innermost self. It requires natural capacity to understand. Pursuit o truth is not for those who want anything less than truth.

Liberation is not in next life or next world but right here, in this very life, right now in this present experience itself. Seeker may grasp the non-dual truth at any time, at any age if he has matured enough and receptive to receive it.

Mind or ’I’ is myth.  Mind is in the form of universe. Universe  appears as waking or dream; the individual  experiences within the waking or dream is ever changing with form, shape, color, and activities. Waking or dream experience disappears and becomes absolute and formless and non-dual in deep sleep . The truth of that which becomes dual [form] and non-dual [formless] has to be analyzed to unfold the mystery of the mind.

By Analyzing the three states one becomes aware of the fact that, the witness of the three states is not physical but it is the formless soul or  spirit. Inquiry, analysis and Reasoning will lead the Seeking Mind towards the source , which the formless witness and substance of the three states. When the Seeking Mind becomes fully aware of the fact that, soul is the formless substance and witness of the mind or universe , which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep then he becomes aware of the fact that, the mind is mere myth. The soul is the cause of all causes and it itself is uncaused.

Soul is the source from where Mind or universe  rises and subsides. Thus, it becomes aware that the mind or ’I’ is an illusion on the standpoint of the formless source.

Deeper self-search reveals:-  inquiry is not a set of question and answers. It is analyzing every doubt and confusion and solving the doubts by discriminating between the dual and non-dual experiences, and coming to firm conclusion and conviction of the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The formless witness(Soul)  alone exists when the waking and dream experiences subsides.  The Waking and dream has subsided as deep sleep. The knower of the three states is apart and eternal. The  formless witness is nothing to with individual experiences such as birth, life and death, because it is not an entity or identity within the waking or dream.   The  witness is within the three states as their formless substance and it is apart from the three states as their formless witness. On the standpoint of the formless substance and witness the three states are unreal, because the formless substance and witness are one in essence. Hence there is no second thing exists other than the soul or spirit or consciousness, hence it is non-dual.

Deep sleep gives the clue to the non-dual experience in which the whole experience of duality is absent

Soul(Consciousness)  is the root element of the Mind( universe). From the Soul (consciousness)  the Mind(universe)  comes into existence. In the Soul (consciousness) the Mind(universe) resides. and into the soul(consciousness) the Mind(universe) dissolves . the soul(consciousness) is the parent of all that exist as illusion or universe. --FORMLESS PATH

Man and his experience of the world are within the waking or dream. Waking experience disappears as the whole,  in deep sleep as formless non-dual substance. ‘Ego’ or “physical self is limited only to the Waking or dream. The waking and dream are unreal on the standpoint of soul as self. Everyone experiences the duality as reality because they take the physical self to be the real self. This has to be investigated and verified to understand and assimilate the self-knowledge.

Deep sleep gives the clue to the non-dual experience in which the whole experience of duality is absent. There is no burden and bondage in deep sleep. However in waking experience the burden and bondage, sense of duality and gravity appears.

The physical self is totally absent in deep sleep. The seeker has to analyze the three states through inquiry, analysis and reasoning on the true base, to realize the fact that, the witness of the three states is formless and apart.

Whatever manifested as Waking or ‘dream will arise and subside, like a sunrise and sunset. The desultory manifestation cannot be real, therefore mind/ waking is mere illusion. Man and the world are reality within the waking experience but the waking experience itself is myth. Therefore the physical existence is myth.

The religionists and intellectuals who expound knowledge believe that the world is first and people were born in it afterwards. So long as this conviction is there, they cannot expound the self-knowledge because the waking experience itself is mirage therefore the birth, life, death and world are part of the mirage and has no value in  the realm of the truth.

Only within the Waking or dream the sense of separation is experienced. Prior to appearance of the Waking experience, there was neither the person nor the world. The duality ceases to exist without the waking or dream experience. Only when the Waking or dream appears the person and the world is present. In deep sleep it has subsides and becomes one with the formless substance.

Only in Waking or dream the waking or dream entity is aware of itself and the world. Therefore, seeker has to investigate to overcome the doubts and confusion through by understanding the fact that waking or dream entity are false self within the false experience. The true self is the formless substance and witness of the three states.
--
1        How one does comes to know that he exists?

2        Because of what?

3        What is it that experiences or witnesses the Waking state, when the physical body and the world is within the Waking state?

4        If ‘Self’ is not the physical then who witnesses the three states which comes and goes in succession?

5        If the witness is not the physical then what is it that is aware of the experiences of all thee states?

6        What is that I aware of the dual and nondual experiences?

7        Prior to appearance of the experience of duality and disappearance of experience of duality what exists? If nothing exists then what is it that is aware of that nothingness where there is no second thing exists?

8        What is it?

It is very much necessary to inquire the nature of the mind to unfold the mystery of the existence.

Only when the appearance of the mind one becomes aware that he is the person perceiving the world. Physical existence is limited only to the Waking or dream. Mind ceases to exist in deep sleep. The question is prior to appearance of the mind; duality was non-existent only there was non-dual existence.

Only after appearance of the mind, man and his experience of the world are present in it. Therefore,

1        What is it that becomes mind and subsides as soul/spirit?

2        Why the individuality, personality and separateness are only present when the mind is present?

3        Why there are wants, needs, desire, hope pleasure, pain birth, and death only when the mind is present?

4        Why the sense of duality disappears when there is no mind?

Therefore, through investigation is very much necessary to unfold the truth. In preliminary inquiry, one becomes aware of the fact that ‘I’ is not the physical. Therefore, it is erroneous to search the truth on the base of the physical self.  Deeper penetration through Deeper self-search reveals:- is very much necessary to unfold the truth.

If ‘self ’ is not the waking entity, than what is it?

In the path of truth seeker meets with many obstacles mainly because of the inborn and inherited  samskaras  or conditioning. Serious seeker will be able to cross the ocean of ignorance by having firm conviction that,  the consciousness(soul the innermost self ) alone is real and the three states are illusory. This  firm conviction leads him in to Self-Awareness. Self-Awareness is like a sun , will melt the ice of ignorance into the infinite ocean of consciousness.   Thus deeper self-search in necessary to understand and assimilate Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

If ‘self ’ is not the waking entity, than  what is it?

Since the sense of ‘I’ is present only when the mind is present and it disappears along with mind. The seeker will come to conclusion after thoroughly verifying this fact through inquiry, analysis and reasoning and then come to firm conviction that ‘I’ is mind.

If ‘I’ is mind and in turn mind is experience of duality. The mind, ‘I’, experience of duality, waking or dream are one and the same thing.  Seeker has to identify ‘I’ as mind and “Mind as a waking or dream” and ego as “Seeking Mind” in order to assimilate the self knowledge.  Seeker has to be aware of the fact that, the true self is not “He” or “She” but it is “It”.

It is wrong to identify the self as he or she because it refers to physicality. The self is genderless because it is formless. Identifying “Self” as he or she, leads to all sorts’ of doubts and confusion.  When the self is identified as he or she it becomes physical self /ego.

When the ego is not the self, it is erroneous to judge the truth on the base of ego/physical self and come to some conclusion of finality on the physical base is erroneous because the truth is prior appearance of the physical existence. Thus, the truth has to be judged on the ultimate point of view, not on the base of what appeared later on.

Man has been conditioned to think and be and behave and believe and live as an individual separate from the world. Therefore, the self has been identified with physical body with the name within the waking experience.

The ‘mind’ is the Waking or dream experience. The Waking or dream is not the experience of the physical body but of the Soul/Self. The man and his world are within the mind; therefore mind is not within the brain. This has to be understood to assimilate the self-knowledge. Without understanding this fact the assimilation is impossibility.

The nature of the Self is formless non-dual.  The nature of the mind is duality or diversity. The self is the formless substance of the mind /duality /diversity. Therefore, the whole experience of the diversity created out of single stuff.  Therefore, there is no division in ultimate standpoint is the self ,which in the form of consciousness. Viewing the worldview on the base of the physical self is the cause of division and separation.

When the seekers become aware of the fact that the true self is not physical but the soul, he becomes aware of the fact that the mind is mere illusion.  The one who is ignorant of the true self experiences the duality as reality.

A person perceives the world within the mind.  Absent of mind is absent of waking or dream. Thus waking or dream is mind.

One thinks he is an individual separate from the world within the mind. He is unaware of the fact that the mind is not within his brain, but he and his experience of the world are within the mind.  Thus, he thinks he is born in this world and world existed prior to him. Thus this conviction makes him believe the birth, life and death as reality.  Until this conviction is thee he will   views and judges the worldview on the physical base, which is the cause of ignorance of the fact that, the true self is the soul.

This ignorance of the true self is the main hurdle in pursuit of truth. Therefore, it is very much necessary to rectify the seeking base from physical [form] to spirit [formless] before proceeding further in pursuit of truth.

If the seeking base is not rectified it will lead one towards hallucination. When the mind itself is myth then the man and his experience of the world is bound to be myth. Therefore perfect understanding of the mind will help one to unfold the mystery of the mind.  It is impossible to unfold the truth on the base of false self within the false experience, because the truth is prior to the appearance of the falsehood.  And falsehood creates ignorance.

Seeker has to burn down the ignorance by rectifying the base of reasoning by realizing the fact that self is not physical but it is the spirit.
