People think questioning the Guru or scholars is irreligious and they indulge in rituals and hearing of religious discourses such people are weak and timid.***

Religious Gods are mere belief. Belief is not God.  Religious God  cannot be considered as the  center because the Soul the innermost ‘Self’ is the center of all that exists. Without the Soul the world in which you exist ceases to exist, it means the religious God is dependent on the Soul for his existence. God in truth is only the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.
Even The Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material  then  nothing has to be accepted  other than consciousness a God.
Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

The Brihadaranyaka Upanishad declares: "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from him does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)

Why waste time discussing   the yoga, religion, worship of the religious Gods glorifying of the Gurus in the Atmic Path.

Self-knowledge is not for those who believe in  religion and its beliefs like mantras and worship of Gods.   Mantras and prayers are nothing to do with the Atmic path. Those who are attached to   Mantras and prayers and worship must continue in their chosen path the Atmic is not for those who are stuck with religious dross.  . In Atmic path discussion is unimportant. One must think deeply and reflect on the subject. Passing their opinion with their accumulated knowledge will not help anyone.  Those who believe in religious

Mythology deals with symbols. It is not history; it is not concerned with objective reality. But that does not mean that it is not concerned with reality itSelf. It is concerned with subjective reality. These Gods, these mythological symbols, do not exist outside you, but they have a psychological existence and that psychological existence can be helpful, can be used. So the first thing to be understood is that they are not real persons in the world,  but they are real symbols in the psyche of man.

Mythological Gods are a myth. All mantras are based on the mythological Gods keeps one in the prison of the dualistic illusion.   The mantras never help to cross the trash hold of the form, time,  and space.  Mantras meant for the ignorant populace who believe the form, time and space as reality.  What is the use of the mantras based on the false God will yield false fruits.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says:~   61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utter the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

That is why In Mundaka Upanishad 1:2:8   “Remaining in the fold of ignorance and thinking “we are extremely wise and learned,” the fools with boastful nature ramble about like the blind led by the blind alone.”

The people who follow religion think that by following their inherited religion is their duty.  And questioning the Guru or scholars is irreligious.  Thus, they indulge in rituals and hearing of religious discourses.   They are weak and timid.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~Those who know me in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self.   In reality,  there is no dualities, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Vedas confirms God is Atman (spirit), the innermost Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and   worship in place of real God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

When Upanishad itself declares: ~   Sarvam khalvidam brahma ~ all this (universe) is verily Brahman. By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality (Chandogya Upanishad).

Sage Sri, Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as It is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described  because description implies distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not the distinction of substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sri, Sankara is impersonal.

What happens if one worships which is not real God with mantras and prayers based on the dummy gods.  It is only priest crafted baggage.

In Yajurveda says: ~

Translation 1.

They enter darkness, those who worship natural things (for example air, water, sun, moon, animals, fire, stone, etc).

They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example,  table, chair, idol etc.) (Yajurveda 40:9)

Translation 2.

"Deep into shade of blinding gloom fall asambhuti's worshippers. They sink to darkness deeper yet who on sambhuti are intent." (Yajurveda Samhita by Ralph T. H. Giffith pg 538)

All the accumulated knowledge from religion and yoga and paths and theories are mere dross in pursuit of truth. Religion and yoga are helpful for the general mass,  but they are barricade in unfolding the mystery of the mind. Therefore, the orthodox people, if they are seeking  the truth, then they have to drop all accumulated dross to acquire nondual wisdom.  The Advaitic wisdom alone is a weapon to eliminate the ignorance.

Realize the ‘Self’ is not you. Do not struggle by practicing this and that to know the truth>***

The path of wisdom is not the religious and yogic path.   Guru is not required in the Atmic  path
.
Realize the ‘Self’ is not you. Do not struggle by practicing this and that to know the truth, which is beyond the form, time,  and space.

The ‘Self' is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. The consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exist and it itself is causeless.

The consciousness is within the world in which you exists but it is without the world in which you exist. The consciousness can remain with or without the world in which you exist.

There is no need of a Guru to know that you and your Guru and the world in which you exist are created out of a single stuff and that single stuff is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness.  Knowledge of that single stuff is the self-knowledge of Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Gnana is given neither from outside nor from another person. There is no need to follow anyone. There is no need to practice anything. A perfect understanding and assimilation of ‘what is what’, leads to  the realization of the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Sage Sri, Sankara says:~  On Gnani wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life…his signs are not manifesting, nor his behavior."  When the knower of Brahman wears no signs -- it means A Gnani does not identify himself as  a swami, Guru or yogi

The one who identifies himself as Swami, Guru or Yogi is not a Gnani. A Gnani never identifies himself as a swami, Guru, pundit or yogi. Swami, Guru, Pundit or Yogi belongs to the religious and yogic path. The religious and yogic path are  not  the Atmic path.

if you are searching for truth then why you are struggling to get a Guru when sage Sankara says  a Gnani wears no signs whereas the Gurus and yogis are identifying themselves with the symbols.  Why waste time indulging in glorifying and worshipping the Gurus, which is meant for the ignorant populace.
Sage Sankara says: ~ there is no need to study the Scriptures, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~ Then why you indulge in studying the scriptures.

Sage Sankara says: there is no need to study philosophy, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman
~then why you indulge in studying the philosophy.

Sage Sankara says: there is no need to indulge rituals, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in rituals.

Sage Sankara says: there is no need to indulge yoga, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman

~then why you indulge in yoga.

Sage Sri, Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ then why you are sticking a Guru who is not a Gnani.

Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why you are indulging in another type of meditation.
Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of enquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is need highlight how they become an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Swami Vivekananda said: ~   “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman   has already been known.
A Guru is needed in religious and the yogic path.  There is no need of a Guru in to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

All the Gurus of the east and the west are based on dualistic perspective. The dualistic knowledge is egocentric knowledge.***

Many Gurus describes to perfection is the awakening to Reality ~the realization that pure Consciousness alone is, that the perpetually fluctuating and evanescent contents of the mind derive from it. This awakening effectively happens in an instant. But in order for the lightning flash to take place, resulting in a firm and unshakable certitude, a long labour is necessary, which they seem to underestimate. “Truth is a formless is their answer.

Many Gurus teaching seems essentially negative, a potent but bitter medicine for those imprisoned by institutional cults. They break the disciples bonds but then lead him to a vast desert where he abandons him.

The ultimate state of consciousness they e describes is that of the traditional sage or fully enlightened being, but they do not show us the process leading to the realization of this state. They describe marvellously the goal but does not indicate the steps to be taken: their recurring phrases "unified consciousness" and "let go" and "'love alone" are not a road-map.

Most of the Gurus and Yogis s approach was more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the 'I', they take it as real. All their teachings of Advaita, is based on the dualistic perspective. Such teaching will not yield the truth of the whole

All the Gurus of the east and the west are based on dualistic perspective. The dualistic knowledge is egocentric knowledge. All egocentric Advaita or nonduality is based on the imagination. All imagined Advaita is will not help to cross the domain of the form, time, and space.

The egocentric knowledge keeps the Soul in the intoxication of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ hides the whole truth.  The Gurus and the teachers of nonduality of the east and west are stuck up with their own accepted truth gathered from here and there and  Their egoic attitude blocks then by realizing the Advaita hidden by the   dvaita, which is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Mundaka Upanishads: ~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

Scriptures are not needed in pursuit truth. Even the Upanishads and the sages of truth declare the same.
The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity not the dream entity but the Self is formless Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. In the realm of  the truth,  the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth, there is no need of the scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara declare: ~ VC 56. Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by good work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman is Liberation possible, and by no other means.

58. Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar, but are no good for Liberation.

59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest which merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence, men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

The real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sri, Sankara is  the soulcentric knowledge.  The Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is soulcentric knowledge destroys the ignorance.

Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for Sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom.

Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita. Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the innermost Self shines in its own its awareness when wisdom dawns.

The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. Advaita is the nature of the God, the innermost Self.

The Advaita is present in the form of the consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita the universe resides. And into the Advaita the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there is.
