Truth- Realization or Self-Realization or God Realization

Truth- Realization or Self-Realization or God Realization

Truth realization or Self-Realization or God Realization is a very deep topic.  One might ask what truth -realization is? Truth realization is realization of the knowledge of the true self to get unity in diversity.  Identifying self  as formless soul leads  to non-dual Self-Awareness or Brahmic -Awareness or Atmic-Awerness.

Self- knowledge  or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is not theoretical knowledge based on the physical self [ego] but the knowledge of the ultimate truth on which the physical existence [illusion] is dependent. Self-knowledge is the True Knowledge.

v  What is Self -Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana?

Self - Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is Knowledge of the innermost  self. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is required to overcome the duality. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana comes through deeper self-search.  Self- Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  unfolds the mystery of the mind or universe in,which we exist.

Gnanis have this Self - Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana . People think there are many sources to acquire the Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana , but fail to acquire it from many sources. Those who are lucky will follow the path of wisdom.  It is impossible to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  from any other source, other then the path of Wisdom.

Only those serious seekers of truth do not leave a stone unturned in their quest of ultimate truth, will realize the fact that, only through soul-centric  reasoning it is possible to acquire non-dual wisdom.

There is no other Reality other then realizing the fact that, the soul or consciousness  is the true self. Everything in the experience of diversity is created out of the soul and sustained by the soul and finally everything dissolves as soul.

Seeker has to remember Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the Gateway to get unity in diversity. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the key to know the illusion and reality are one in essence.

Spirituality is man’s relation to soul or spirit or consciousness, nothing else

Sage Sri,Sankara said:- Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Spirituality is man’s relation to soul or spirit or consciousness, nothing else. It is not about religion, it is not dogma. The soul is one divine force pervading all the three states and a direct relation to that soul is what it is all about, beyond any duality.

Things that are impossible for man are possible with soul. There is no doubt about it. Moreover, even though one never sees the soul, he knows it always is with him.

Once the quest starts, one begins to understand that there are things beyond the physical life, and he begins to exploring spiritual realms.

People think themselves, over time; by reading countless books on all religions and philosophies of the world, they will acquire Self-knowledge or Bramha Gnana or Atma Gnana.  However, it is not so ‘A wise person should glean knowledge from inquiry and reasoning on the base of the soul as self and assimilate it. Just like honey bee collects nectar from all flowers, big or small’. The seeker of truth must think that he is that bee.

There is no such thing as permanent happiness in the experience of duality [waking/dream]. Joy and sorrow are part of the illusion and are so intertwined.

The spiritual quest is a personal adventure. Guru is not needed in the  pursuit of truth, the seeker may require only guidance. Religion and yoga are not spirituality, because they are based on the ego, which is the false self (ego or waking entity), within the false experience(waking).  Whatever is based on the ego is not the means for self-realization.

A Gnani is will not accept anyone as his disciple but he will guide him as his own friend. He will not entertain Guru or God glorification or indulge in religious or yogic practice.

Gnani never speaks of god and indulges in god glorification. He only guides the seeker towards the true self, which is the soul or consciousness. He never indulges in performing miracles nor quotes religious scriptures to prove his viewpoint without verification. He highlights scriptural citation which helps the seeker to look beyond the form, time and space.

Miracles, karma, heaven, hell, paradise, sin evil, rebirth and morality are religious fables. All religious code of conduct is good for worldly life. However, in spiritual pursuit they are of no value, because the worldly life is part of the mirage or illusion.

A Gnani never wears any religious robe he is free from all religious fables. Only when one is able to bifurcate spirituality form religion and yoga then he will be able to find a Gnani who will be able to guide him and help him to realize the true self in lesser time and effort.

A real Gnani  will never condemn the religion and its God and Gurus but he will say they are part of the illusory experience of diversity.

It is very difficult to identify a Gnani, because he never claims himself to be guru or teacher.

A religious gurus or yogis are too enthusiastic to have everyone as their disciple, and they will push themselves on others with his advices, authoritative scriptural knowledge. Religious gurus or yogis want to keep everyone in the domain of religion and yoga.

More than they wants to help people, they want to help their ego. They   only use people and impose their inherited idea of religion and god on them, usually unintentionally because they themselves is more unconscious than others of the ultimate truth.

A Gnani never claims himself as a Gnani or trying to show off that he is wise and others are less wise. Gnani never indulges in argument but he only put his point of view.   A Gnani is not enthusiastic to have anyone as his disciple. He never identifies himself as guru.  He does not impose his ideas on anyone. However, he identifies the serious seeker and guides them as a fellow seeker. It is very difficult to identify a Gnani, because he never claims himself to be guru or teacher.

Most people are not aware what really they are seeking. They start their pursuit with their inherited religious ideas and as they go deeper they will feel that religion and yoga are inadequate to quench their thirst.

A serious seeker will realize the fact that, he is looking for something else, and he is now sure it is not self-assurance, fulfillment of dreams, fulfillment of social demands.   He will realize the fact that, religion and yoga and theoretical philosophies are means to quench his inner thirst.

A Gnani dearly cares about the serious seekers but will stay aloof, he knows that if seeker needs to be assisted by him, he will approach or rather be drawn to approach him. He has no self interest whatsoever and so anyone considered equally for his love as anybody else, whoever comes, comes and if no one comes it is also fine.

The man and his world are within the mind; therefore mind is not within the brain

When the ego or waking entity  is not the self, than it is erroneous to judge the truth on the base of ego or waking entity and come to some conclusion of finality on the physical base is erroneous because the truth is prior appearance of the physical existence. Thus, the truth has to be judged on the ultimate point of view, not on the base of what appeared later on.

Man has been conditioned to think and be and behave and believe and live as an individual separate from the world. Therefore, the self has been identified with physical body with the name within the waking experience.

The ‘mind’ is the whole Waking or dream experience. The Waking or dream is not the experience of the waking entity but of the consciousness, which is the innermost self The man and his world are within the mind; therefore mind is not within the brain. This has to be understood to assimilate the self-knowledge. Without understanding this fact the assimilation is impossibility.

The nature of the Self is formless non-dual. The nature of the mind is duality or diversity. The self is the formless substance of the mind or universe or  duality . Therefore, the whole experience of the diversity created out of single stuff. Therefore, there is no division in ultimate standpoint is the self ,which in the form of consciousness. Viewing the worldview on the base of the physical self or ego is the cause of division and separation.

When the seekers become aware of the fact that the true self is not physical but the soul, he becomes aware of the fact that the mind is mere illusion. The one who is ignorant of the true self experiences the duality as reality.

A person perceives the world within the mind. Absent of mind is absent of waking or dream. Thus waking or dream is mind.

One thinks he is an individual separate from the world within the mind. He is unaware of the fact that, the mind is not within his brain, but he and his experience of the world are within the mind. Thus, he thinks he is born in this world and world existed prior to him. Thus this conviction makes him believe the birth, life and death as reality. Until this conviction is thee he will views and judges the worldview on the physical base, which is the cause of ignorance of the fact that, the true self is the soul.

This ignorance of the true self is the main hurdle in pursuit of truth. Therefore, it is very much necessary to rectify the seeking base from physical undefined to spirit undefined before proceeding further in pursuit of truth.

If the reasoning base is not rectified from form to formless than it will lead one towards hallucination. When the mind itself is myth then the man and his experience of the world is bound to be myth. Therefore perfect understanding of the mind will help one to unfold the mystery of the mind. It is impossible to unfold the truth on the base of false self within the false experience, because the truth is prior to the appearance of the falsehood. And falsehood creates ignorance. ignorance is cause of experiencing the illusory duality as reality.

Seeker has to burn down the ignorance by rectifying the base of reasoning by realizing the fact that, self is not physical but it is the formless consciousness
