The theory of fate (Prarabdha) is imaginary theory based on the false self*****

The  theory of fate (Prarabdha) is imaginary theory based on the false self [ego or waking entity].  The theory of fate (Prarabdha) is for the ignorant because those who accept the waking entity as self and waking world as reality believe the present experience of birth, life, death and the world as reality.  That means they have accepted their body as self whereas the self is formless soul or  consciousness.  Thus  they  will remain in believing in the theory of birth, death and rebirth and permanently  remain in ignorance. Thus whatever is based on the waking entity or ego is falsehood because the waking experience itself is falsehood from ultimate standpoint.

The waking entity and the waking world are a reality within the waking experience. The waking experience itself is an illusion from ultimate standpoint.

The body being in this universe , does not also exist and due to this, Prarabdha also does not exist, Though the Vedas speak of Prarabdha, For the understanding of the ignorant.

The Mundaka Upanishad :~  Ksheeyanthe thasya karmani thasmin drushte cha paravare, Bahuthwam than nishedartha sruthya geetham cha yath sphutam. 98

The body being in this world does not also exist and due to this, Prarabdha also does not exist, though the Vedas speak of Prarabdha, for the understanding of the ignorant.

All actions of man including Prarabdha, Perishes when one is able to see, Brahman which is in the higher and also lower, Thus tell the Vedas with clarity, *Cause and effect If fate does not get destroyed, ignorance gets never destroyed and spiritual realization never comes.

Uchyathe agnai balath chaithaththadaanatha thad vayagama, Vedantha matha hanam cha yadho jnanam ithi sruthi. 99

If the ignorant adamantly refuse to know this, Not only will they get involved in two absurdities*, But also forsake the conclusions of Vedanta, which proceed from Veda, the true knowledge. *negation of Brahman and its realization.

Sri,  Sankara says in Aparokshanubhuti:~ 88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

89. O enlightened one; pass your time always contemplating on Atman while you are experiencing all the results of Prarabdha; for it ill becomes you to feel distressed.

90. The theory one hears of from the scripture, that Prarabdha does not lose its hold upon one even after the origination of the knowledge of Atman, is now being refuted.

91. After the origination of the knowledge of Reality, Prarabdha verily ceases to exist, inasmuch as the body and the like become non-existent; just as a dream does not exist on waking.

92. That Karma which is done in a previous life is known as Prarabdha (which produces the present life). But such Karma cannot take the place of Prarabdha (for a man of knowledge), as he has no other birth (being free from ego).

93. Just as the body in a dream is superimposed (and therefore illusory), so is also this body. How could there be any birth of the superimposed (body), and in the absence of birth (of the body) where is the room for that (i.e., Prarabdha) at all?

94. The Vedanta texts declare ignorance to be verily the material (cause) of the phenomenal world just as the earth is of a jar. That (ignorance) being destroyed, where can the universe subsist?

 95. Just as a person out of confusion perceives only the snake leaving aside the rope, so does an ignorant person see only the phenomenal world without knowing the reality?

96. The real nature of the rope being known, the appearance of the snake no longer persists; so the substratum being known, the phenomenal world disappears completely.

97. The body also being within the phenomenal world (and therefore unreal), how could Prarabdha exist? It is, therefore, for the understanding of the ignorant alone that the Shruti speaks of Prarabdha.

98. “And all the actions of a man perish when he realizes that (Atman) which is both the higher and the lower”. Here the clear use of the plural by the Shruti is to negate Prarabdha as well.

99. If the ignorant still arbitrarily maintain this, they will not only involve themselves into two absurdities but will also run the risk of forgoing the Vedantic conclusion. So one should accept those Shrutis alone from which proceeds true knowledge.

The above proves that the karma is a reality only on the base of the false self, where one thinks body and the universe as a reality. When one becomes aware of the fact that, the true self is formless soul, then the karma becomes part and parcel of illusion.

My point is that, if one accepts the karma theory as reality, he will never be able to come out of the ignorance. And ignorance makes him believe the cycle of birth, life, and death or pain and pleasure as reality.  Thus the freedom which one is seeking will remain a distant dream. For the one who accepts the birth life and death as a reality, Self-knowledge is impossible.

Thus it is necessary for the seeker of truth to know the fact that, the body which is born, lives and dies is not the self. Since he is taking the body to be the self, he is experiencing the duality as a reality.

As Sage  Sri, Sankara says:  When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman.

If the body is not the  Self, then the karma theory is meaningless,  there is  no second thing exists other than Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the consciousness. the prarabda holds no water from the ultimate standpoint.

Direct realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman leads to freedom from experiencing the illusion as reality.++*****

Direct realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman leads to freedom from experiencing the illusion as reality. The seekers of truth can constantly reflect on this non-dual truth to get a firm conviction.

Seekers who are after truth can propitiate through constant reflecting on the true self, which is consciousness, and attain their desired aim of reaching.

Only consciousness is perennial, all others are impermanent, arriving at such a conviction, is truly the capacity for discrimination.

Knowledge is never attained without reflection, like an object is never seen without a bright light.

The inquiry, analysis through deeper reasoning that needs to be done is:-

1.       Why man and his experience of the world are present only in waking or dream?
2.       Why the universe is present only when the mind is present?
3.       With what the mind has it been made?

Thoughts like “I” and “I am” will not cease until one understands What is ‘I’.   One has to understand the fact that, the thought will not rise without the waking or dream, therefore, the waking or dream has to be there prior to the real thought process. Thus thoughts are nothing to do with the formless witness of the waking or dream.  Thoughts are concerned to the individual, not to the formless witness.  Thus whatever is part of the mind has to be a falsehood.  Thus the thoughts, which arise to the false self within the false experience are bound to be a falsehood.  Thus it is erroneous to trace the source of the thought instead on has to first realize the fact that the ‘I’ is not the self.  And ‘I’ is not limited to the physical entity but ‘I’ is the whole universe, which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.

If ‘I’ is there then the mind is there. If the mind is there then the universe is there. And the universe is present only when waking or dream is present.

One see the differences between things because of ignorance, all these differences would vanish when one gets wisdom and the various thoughts arise because one considers ‘I’ as self.

The cause for this ignorance and the universe is subtle and one without second and unchanging existence, Similar to the water being the cause of clouds and snow.

One must be desirous of knowing the ultimate truth. The pursuit of truth is the most difficult. But it is not difficult for those serious seekers who want nothing other than the truth.   Receptivity is needed in pursuit of truth. Accumulated knowledge or scriptural mastery or logical conclusions are not yardsticks in pursuit of truth.

One cannot imagine the truth and imagination is not the truth. Imagination is possible only when there is duality. Duality is falsehood.  All our individual experiences are part and parcel of the duality.  Therefore our individual experiences of birth, life, death, and the world are falsehood. To realize it is falsehood one has to realize the fact that, the self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the Self is the formless substance and witness of the three states.

Getting rid of the world does not mean that it must become imperceptible to the senses. It means that one must know that it is destructible, it is ever-changing. One must know its real nature; its unreality. He must give up the notion that it is real. The knowledge of consciousness cannot destroy the objective world, but can only give him the idea that it is unreal.  Modern science proves that everything is changing every moment. Spirituality has to consider and answer the questions: How that which changes, appears to be, changeless? :~Santthosh Kumaar

The religion is based on the body as self because it speaks of birth, death and rebirth whereas the self is birthless and deathless because it is formless

Only pretenders show such external works or claims. People who do not understand the scriptures generally misinterpret all scriptures references to the ‘indifference’ of the sage as meaning sitting idle, remote from worldly concerns. "Though the scriptures speak of a direct knowledge of ultimate truth by a study of the holy texts it does not become established..." It is therefore not enough to say one understand the theories of Advaita; he may grasp idealism and Mandukya but it is not enough.

The scriptural  citations are not proofs.  The ultimate truth has to be proved without the scriptures.  The ultimate truth is universal truth and it does not belong to any religion.  The religion causes diversity in unity, whereas, the ultimate truth brings unity in diversity.

It is impossible to bring unity in diversity through religion. The religion is the cause of the wars and violence in the world. If ultimate truth injected propagated to the mankind the fallacy of the religion is exposed and people will know “what truth” is and “what is untruth” and find the universal peace, which is the very nature of their true identity.

After Osho’s death, people are realizing what he said about many things was right, but they do not want accept it in the name of protecting their Religion and its culture. The ultimate truth declared by Sri, Sankara THE WORLD IS UNREAL AND BRAHMAN ALONE IS REAL AND EVERYTHING IS BRAHMAN -   has to be discovered by the seekers of truth on their own by bifurcating religion, concept of God, Gurus, scriptures and yoga.
There is no need to condemn the any religion but one has to know the fact that, it is meant for the mass mind set and it is not the means to Self-Realization or Truth Realization.  There is no need to study religious doctrine in order to acquire Self-Knowledge.

There is no need to condemn the religion, concept of god and scriptures or indulge in criticizing the religious gurus, but there is need highlight how they are hindrance in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the body is not self.  The religion is based on the body as self because it speaks of birth, death and rebirth whereas the self is birthless and deathless because it is formless.   The ignorance is cause of experiencing the birth, life, death and the world as reality.  Once the ignorance is dropped than one becomes aware ‘what is truth ‘, and what is untruth.

There is no sense of or purpose in doer ship.  The individual experiences are happening on its own accord within the false experience.  Things do not happen because anyone is doing it.  Since the body is mere an experience not an experiencer. Therefore, the physical body is not the author of the doing. Thus, body is not the author; the soul is the true author.  Thus, man cannot take the authorship of the doing, which is mere happening within the false experience.  Thus, it is necessary to acquire the self-knowledge in order to unfold the truth.

In the past some sages declared that the religion and yoga are meant for preparatory stages, but they are not the means for Self-Realization.  Once one is conditioned by religious and yogic samskaras or conditioning than it becomes very difficult to drop them.   Thus in the beginning itself one is made to know the self is not form but formless it becomes easier for him to grasp, assimilate and realize the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth.

The mind cannot be stilled other than acquiring the non-dual wisdom. People try all the mental and physical acrobatics to still the mind. Until they are based on the body the thoughts will go on appearing. Until thoughts are there the stillness is impossible. The thoughts will stop only when there is perfect understanding through non dual wisdom. The thoughts cannot arise without the form, feeling, perception, mental formation and consciousness. If one of these is missing then the thought will not form.

To make the mind still one has to have the perfect understanding of the whole experience without mixing up with accumulated ideas from the religion, scriptures and yogic ideas and theoretical knowledge based on the logic.  The mind becomes still only when one accepts the fact that consciousness is the true self, and rejects ‘I’ as self mentally.  There is no use of seeking truth on the base of ‘I’ which is not the self.  This base can be rectified through deeper Self-search through perfect understanding and assimilating. Though it may look difficult at first gradually the serious seeker will get a hang of it, and will start feeling the non-dual Self-Awareness.

This is possible only through constant mental effort through reflection on the formless witness of the three states.

The word illusion is used as suggestion to the subconscious to bifurcate the real from the unreal. Since truth pursuit is completely a mental journey, suggesting the right suggestions to subconscious is the only way. The word illusion scares many, but there is no need to get scared, nothing is lost, only the ignorance will disappear and one will be able to view and judge the birth, life and death on the base of consciousness, thus the burden of the duality will be shifted from form to formless thus one gets freedom from experiencing the duality which he is experiencing as reality right here and now, consciously living within the duality, until it disappears on its own and become one with the eternal identity.
