Most people are scared even to think life is mere illusion, it is because their attachment to the worldly life and family attachment and accumulated wealth.

All the objects that one sees within the universe are limited to form, space, time.  The universe is limited to   waking or dream.  Waking and dream is limited to the mind. Only the consciousness, which is cause of the mind or universe, is unlimited and uncaused.

Consciousness is limitless. The universe is mere limited mirage created out of consciousness.  Thus universe and all its contents identified with form and name are mere mirage are bound by form time and space.  Thus form, time and space are myth because they are mere mirage.  Thus holding the form time and space as reality and holding then as yardstick to prove the existence is erroneous.  Thus the reasoning has to be based on the formless consciousness, which is permanent, not on the form, time and space, which are impermanent.

Only the consciousness, which is the true self, can be called infinite.  The mind or universe, which appears as waking or dream, Cannot be called infinite. The ocean can be called limitless, but not the waves. Some waves are quite large, some are small, but all are limited in time and space. The waves appear limited as long as one looks at the waves and ocean as separate or "dual" entities. If he considers the wave as part and parcel of ocean or considers both as water only, then the wave is limitless like the ocean. Similarly, if one holds the form as self then he bound by time and space. If he considers the formless consciousness as self, the form, time and space is dissolved in the consciousness and becomes limitless.

From a non-dualistic viewpoint if ocean is limitless, so is the wave, because both the ocean and the wave are a single, non-dual entity. Thus from a dualistic view point, the wave "appears" incomplete, and limited, but is really infinite as the ocean itself. Thus, if there is only a single substance, then the question of one being infinite or complete and the other limited or finite does not arise at all. If one becomes aware of the fact that the self is not the mind or universe but self is formless substance and witness of the mind, then, the mind becomes one with the limitless and infinite consciousness.

Universe is in the form of  Mind. Nature of the mind is duality.   Duality is apparent, not real. The negation of duality means negation of the reality of duality, but not the negation of the experience of duality. The experience of duality that one sees in real life is apparent or relative, called unreal. Self-Realization means becoming aware of the unreal nature of the duality, which we experience it as waking experience.

Most people are scared even to think life is mere illusion, it is because their attachment to the worldly life and family attachment and accumulated wealth. There is nothing to fear, their physical identity or the world will not disappear but their unreal nature will be exposed, same way one becomes aware of the unreal nature of the dream in the midst of duality, the unreal nature of the waking experience is realized in the midst of the waking experience.  Thus one gets freedom from experiencing the duality as reality after realizing the fact that the self is neither waking entity nor the dream entity but the self is that witness the waking and dream experience  as a whole without the physical apparatus.

From a dualistic viewpoint, a small wave is afraid of being swallowed by the large wave and prays to the ocean for protection from large waves. This is what prayers and worship are. From a non-dualistic point of view, there is no such fear. The three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness, only. On the ultimate standpoint duality (mind or universe or  waking) as apparent, is not real.

The Unity appears diversified in waking or dream. Self-realization brings unity in diversity.  The self-realization is not the knowledge gained from the external world but the realizing the inner reality how this how the universe which appears as waking or dream (duality) and dissolves as deep sleep (non-duality).

Birth, life and death and the world are experienced as reality within the waking or dream.  Everyone is in ignorance in waking or dream. Until ignorance is there the duality will prevail as reality. The ignorance will prevail as long as one fully understands that duality is apparent and not real.

If one has the conviction he is an individual separate from the world and world existed prior to him and he is born in it later on, he will remain in ignorance experiencing the duality as reality. Thus it is necessary to realize the fact that, the three states are not different from consciousness. Everything is consciousness only. The limitless, infinite or non-dual consciousness also means that no entity other than consciousness exists in the three states.

Consciousness is both the man and the universe. In other words, consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the mind, which appears as waking or dream. There is no other cause or existence, except consciousness. The consciousness is cause of everything that exists and it itself is uncaused.

The mind or universe, which appears as waking or dream is not different from its material and instrumental cause, the imperishable consciousness. The objects of the waking experience   do not have to be eliminated, given up, or even completely negated as the dream-objects to see consciousness everywhere and in everything.

The ornament need not be melted to see the gold in it. Similarly, one need not leave the world to see or find ultimate truth. In a piece of cloth, the weaver is not hidden inside the cotton or the yarn, but in the universe ; the consciousness ,which is the true self  is not only the material and the efficient cause, but it  is present in everything and everywhere  in all the three states.

The universe is an illusory veil on the consciousness. There is no sin or sinner is reality within the mirage. The sinner is the one who is ignorant and who believes the duality as reality. While a Gnani is ripe and realized the fact that the duality is mere mirage created out of consciousness.

Ultimate understanding of ultimate truth will bring a fresh outlook, a refreshing breeze of fresh air of understanding persons of any faiths, cultures, and countries. It will enrich our individual lives, if not change the world overnight but it helps people to know the truth of their true existence and discard the belief systems, which are propagating violence and terrorism in the name of religion and god and bring unity in diversity.

It can be concluded that an understanding of non-duality is realizing the ultimate truth.  And duality is the partial knowledge and understanding. All the religions of the world are based on duality. Duality is partial knowledge. Thus all the religions are based on holding the   duality as reality.   These  religions has created the conflicts and religious wars  and terrorism that can only be eliminated with the Self-knowledge  ,which  can bring peace, understanding, and harmony in the world and in our personal lives. One does not have to change his  religion to get Self-knowledge, but by being in his own religion and present outfit,  through  perfect understanding and assimilation, he can  becomes aware of “What is truth” to realize “What is untruth”.

“Who am I?”, What am I?’, “Whence am I?” which are helpful only in preliminary stages in pursuit of truth.

In the waking or dream, the objects of experience like sound, touch etc are varied and different from each other. The one which is aware of the coming and going of the waking or dream is apart from them. the one which is aware of them is   consciousness.  Thus the experience of diversity(waking or dream) is created out of single stuff, which is consciousness. Thus everything in diversity(waking or dream)  is mere mirage created out of consciousness. Thus the form and names within the duality(waking or dream)  has no value therefore, everything is one without the division of forms and names.

Man experiences the world within the waking or dream. The world is reality for man within the waking or dream. The man and world are unreality for the formless witness of the three states, which is also the formless substance of the three states. Thus the individual experiences such as birth, life, death and the world or pain and pleasure are mere illusion from the ultimate standpoint.  Thus basing on the waking entity and judging the truth is erroneous, because the self is neither the waking entity not the dream entity but the self is the formless witness of all the three states.

Thus 'I' and 'I Am' which is limited to the waking experience or dream is not the self, because the consciousness which is the true self, pervades all the three states as their formless substance and witness.   Thus, all the sense organs belong to the physical entity. And physical entity is reality within the waking experience, but the waking experience itself is unreal from the ultimate standpoint.

The difference within waking or dream does not affect their formless witness in any way. Within the waking or dream the objects may be different from each other. But there is a single witness of them all because the witness witnesses the waking or dream as a whole.

When one says 'I hear', 'I touch', 'I see', etc. the hearing, touching and seeing are experiences within the waking or dream. But all these are experiences experienced by the false self within the false experience, because within the waking or dream the physical apparatus is considered as self, whereas the true self has no physical apparatus.   Thus all the experiences are falsehood.

The three states are an object to the subject, which is consciousness.  The objects are also different. But the 'consciousness ' that knows them all one and the same in and through all the experiences. Only within the waking or dream one is able to know distinctions like form, time and space and pain and pleasure, etc. But the knower is undivided and undifferentiated in and through all the experiences of the three states.

Formless knower (witness) is not differentiated from the known. It is because the knower and the known are one and the same. Since the experiences are varied when do we know the formless knower, to be undifferentiated?

When self is mentally separated from the three states after realizing the subject object relation.   The Consciousness is hidden within the three states as their form less substance. Consciousness is apart from the three states as their formless witness.  It is apart because it is neither the waking entity not it is the dream entity but the formless witness of all the three states.

When the three states, which are mere object to the formless subject is dropped mentally, then the Consciousness alone prevails in its formless non-dual true nature.

It is just like one and the same water becoming snow, and cloud. The substance is one and the same. If it is not cloud or snow it remains as water. In the same way, without the three states consciousness alone prevails because all the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness.

The three states come and go in succession but the knowing principle, the Awareness, remains one and the same in all the three states. The formless, witness, who is in the form of consciousness, remains same through all the experiences.

The dream is parallel waking and waking is parallel dream. The formless knower that knows the coming and going of the three states is one.  Thus on the base of the formless knower, the three states are mere mirage. When the mirage is mentally dropped after realization of their unreal nature, than  the duality will never be experienced as reality again.

The unreal nature of the experience of form, space, time & objects within the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. The reality of the unreal nature of   form time and space of the waking experience is exposed, when the waking entity becomes aware of the fact that, it itself  is not the self, but the true self is that which sees all the three states without the physical apparatus  as passing show.

The form, time and space are reality within the waking or dream. But from the standpoint of the formless source, from where waking or dream  arise and subside the three states  are non-existent.  The formless source is consciousness. The consciousness is the true self. Waking or dream or mere mirage created out of the consciousness.  The nature of the Consciousness is oneness.  Thus, the waking or dream not differs from each other because they are mere mirage created out of consciousness. Thus they are both are one in essence.

The witness, the Consciousness, in the waking is not different from the one in the dream. The waking objects are varied but their witness is one and the same. The dream objects are varied but their witness is one and the same. In other words the witness of the waking and the dream is one and the same.

In deep sleep state there is a continuity of the Consciousness. In the deep sleep state, the witness is in its formless non-dual true nature, that is, it is in self-awareness.  In waking or dream it is ignorant of its true nature.  Thus there is emptiness in the deep sleep. This cognition is recollected by when it is again enters in to state of ignorance and wakes up as waking or. Dream entity .thus it is erroneous to view and judge the worldview on the waking entity because the witness is present in all the three states.

To overcome all the doubts and confusions, one has to mentally trace the existence of the formless witness, which sees all the three states, which comes and goes in succession. Without that witness the three states are non-existent because it is also the formless substance of the three states.   When the waking entity becomes aware of the fact that,  it is not the self  but the self is the witness of the three states in the midst of waking experience, then  the form, time and space within the waking experience ceases to be real.  Thus the waking entity realizes the fact that, form, time and space are mere division created out of consciousness. Thus the form, time and space are mere mirage created out of consciousness.  Thus there is no division in consciousness.  the divisions are mere mirage without the division there is only oneness.

The confusion arises when one says, 'During deep sleep there was neither waking nor dream. The whole waking or dream experiences were absent. But the formless witness was present. The witness was present without the waking or dream. In waking it was witnessing the waking as whole and in dream it was witnessing the dream as whole. The individual happenings within the waking or dream are nothing to do with the formless witness. Thus judging the truth on the base of individual happening within the waking or dream is erroneous, because the witness is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the one that witnesses the waking or dream as a whole without the physical apparatus.

Man experiences the world within the waking or dream. The dream is an experience. Similarly the waking also is an experience.  The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. The waking and dream becomes unreal in deep sleep. The one which is aware of the three states is hidden within the three states but it is without the three states. It is hidden within the three states as their formless substance and it is without the three states as their formless witness.  Thus mentally tracing the formless substance and witness of the three states is necessary, in order to realize the substance and witness are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness.

Thus it is very necessary to investigate “What is it that, becomes waking or dream?” and “What is it that becomes deep sleep?” rather than  finding answers for the meaning of life or inquiring “Who am I?”, What am I?’, “Whence am I?” which are helpful only  in preliminary stages in pursuit of truth.

The pursuit of truth is to know the truth of the whole not the part.  Birth, life and death takes place within  the world. The world is reality within the waking experience but the waking experience itself is mere mirage.  By knowing and realizing,  with what this mirage, which is in the form of mind or universe came into existence, one becomes aware of the ultimate truth, which consciousness. Thus consciousness alone is real and  all else[universe or mind]  is false created out of consciousness.

Discussion on Karma Theory

Discussion
Karma Theory

QUESTION;-

Karma is the universal principle of cause and effect. Our actions, both good and bad, come back to us in the future, helping us to learn from life's lessons and become better people.

Karma is basically energy. I throw energy out through thoughts, words and deeds - mano vaakkaya karamaas, and it comes back to me in time, through other people. Karma is our best teacher , for we must always face the consequences of our actions and thus improve and refine our behavior, or suffer if we do not. The bondage of this karma or karmabandham is the root for repeated births and deaths and experiencing the pleasures and pains - sukhadukhaalu. Beyond this bondage is salvation.

Bhagavadgita suggests that the moment the fire of knowledge -jnaagnihi manifests itself the whole stock of sanchita karmas in the form of latencies disappear and one is above experiencing prarabhdha and aagami.

Understanding the way the karma works, we seek to live a good and virtuous life through right thought, right speech and right action and this is called dharma. We must also be very careful about our thoughts, because thought creates, and thoughts make karmas - good, bad and mixed.

I request you to listen to my humble understanding of Law of Karma.

Answer:-

Essence of scriptuers: - Dehum- Nahum-Kohum –Sohum – which indicates the  body is not the self – the self is that. Which clearly indicates the self is without the body. Therefore, the self is the formless knower of the body and the world. Without the body and the world, the self is free from birth life and death.  Therefore, karma theory, which is based on the idea of birth, life, death and rebirth, is a mere religious fable

Karma is universal principle only on the base of false self [ego], within the illusion. The cause and effect is reality, only on the base of false self.  The fact is Atman or the soul is the true self, which is in the form of consciousness and Atman or soul is uncaused.   Buddhism says, there is nothing - nonentity. Advaita says there is some reality, even though things are not what they appear to be.

When the self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the self is the formless seer of the three states and is apart. Thus the karma done is the dream becomes unreal when waking takes place so its effect also is unreal. Similarly, the waking experience also becomes unreal after self - Realization, then how the karma theory, which is based on false self within the false experience, will affect anyone. When the true self is birthless and deathless then the question of rebirth does not arise.

Brahman is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (brahmano hi pratisthaham, Bhagavad Gita 14.27)

Atman is Brahman:- the self is Atman ,which is in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is  is ultimate reality or Brahman.  Thus, on the base of formless self or consciousness the Karma theory is mere illusory theory created within the false experience on the base of the false entity.

Thus karma which is done within false experience with false identity is bound to be falsehood. Thus the karma theory is mere imagined theory created by the sages in the past for the general mass who are unable to think beyond physicality to judge their own action to indulge in good karma, which in turn helps the society in live in peace and harmony.  Desire of getting good life and benefits in next world and next life people indulge in doing good deeds and by fear of going to hell and bad life in next life and next world they avoid indulging in bad deeds in this practical world.

Karma, Bhakti, Raj yoga are not the means to path of wisdom. And mixing them up and trying to assimilate ultimate truth is impossibility.

There is no need to practice to devotion, karma and raja yoga because they are not the means to acquire non-dual wisdom.   There is no practice as such but perfect understanding is needed.   Deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning revels the fact that, the self is not physical but the self is formless consciousness. Therefore, all the accumulated knowledge, experiences and understanding based on physical self (ego or body  or waking entity as Self)are falsehood based on the false self, within the false experience (waking).   Thus, whatever is based on the waking entity is bound to be falsehood because waking experience itself is false hood.   Since many teachers and teachings are based on the false self (ego or body or waking entity as self  ) and they consider the false experience (three states) as reality, they are incapable of grasping the witness, which is within the three states, but it is without the three states.

As per the scriptures the three "Ashrams" or stages in life were originally intended for three grades of intelligence thus:-

             Religion: low intellects had to do 'karmas' works, ritual actions, chanting of mantras and indulging in bajans and prayers etc.
             Middle intellects:  Yoga: taking yellow robes, going to caves, ashrams etc.
             High intellects: Philosophy: who wanted truth are concerned with no external rites or sanyas but depend solely on intelligent inquiry for their path.

Gaudapada says that:- The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upaasana to people of lower and middling intellect, while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

This clearly indicates that religion, which is based on individual conduct, prescribes karma and Upaasana to people of lower and middling intellect, therefore religion is for the lower intellect. And wisdom is for those are capable of inquiring into their own existence to know and realize the ultimate truth is Brahman.

As indicated in ISH Upanishads: - By worshipping gods and goddesses you will go after death to the world of gods and goddesses. But will that help you? The time you spend there is wasted, because if you were not there you could have spent that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is your goal. In the world of gods and goddesses you cannot do that, and thus you go deeper and deeper into darkness.

It clearly indicates that:-If the human goal is to acquire Self-Knowledge then why one has to indulge in rituals and glorifying the conceptual gods, goddesses and gurus[which is karma]  to go in to deeper darkness. Instead   spend that time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is one’s prime goal.

Since it is eternal and infinite, it comprises the only truth. The goal of Vedic religion, through the various yogas, is to realize that the consciousness (Atman) is actually nothing but Brahman.

If one knows the ultimate truth, then he will know there is neither cause nor effect.  Non-dual Wisdom is to know, what is it, that is real, and base the reasoning on that real.

When reasoning is done on true base, then one has the yardstick to know what is truth, and what is untruth, and he will be able to reject the unreal or untruth mentally.  Therefore, one has to make sure whether the true self is body or ego or waking entity , or the true self is soul or Atman, which is in the form of consciousness.

If one accepts the self as body, then the karma becomes universal principal. If one accepts the soul or consciousness as self, then the physical body, ego, world and whatever one has seen known and believed and experienced as a person becomes unreal(mirage) on the standpoint of the soul as self.

By accepting karma theory, one is accepting the unreal as real, and permanently remains in the clutches of duality thinking the cycle of birth, life and death as reality.  Therefore, to overcome the illusory cycle of birth, life and death, one has to know the fact that, the body or ego or waking entity is not the self, but the formless soul is the true self. Thus the self is within the mind (universe) but it is without the mind (universe).   Thus the self is within the ‘I’ but it is without the ‘I’.

Thus karma theory is a hindrance in the path of truth because one accepts the false self as real self and false experience as real experience and he thinks all his action will yield fruits. Thus he will remain permanently in the realm of unreality or ignorance.  Without getting rid of ignorance truth realization or Self-realization is impossibility.

When the self is genderless then it is impossible to get enlightenment through sexual intercourse or tantric sex.  It is impossible to get freedom by taking sanyasa or renouncing the worldly life which is mere body based theories. When the self is not physical then what value is there to take sanyasa or renouncing the worldly life? One has to renounce the ignorance, which is the cause of experiencing the illusion [body+ universe] as reality.

If one thinks non-dual truth is the ultimate truth, then one has to drop all theories based on the physical body (ego or waking entity)as self, because non-dual truth is based on the consciousness (soul), which is the true self.

By accepting karma theory one is  accepting the false self, as real self, and world as reality, therefore there is no need for Self-inquiry “Who am ‘I’ “, because one has  accepted the present physical identity and world as reality.  Self-inquiry makes one realize the fact that self is not the body. After knowing the fact that self is not the body, then it is erroneous to think again as the body as self, and holding the body based theories as reality.  Thus karma theory becomes a biggest obstacle in the path of inquiry and truth, because it does not allow the seeker to cross the threshold of duality.

The physical body and the world which exist only in waking/dream/duality are impermanent and illusory in nature, because they appear and disappear as mind. The soul which is the formless substance and witness of the duality is permanent. Therefore, whatever is seen known and believed and experienced as real within the waking also is as real as dream.

Sri,  Sankara says in Aparokshanubhuti:-

   88. When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?
  89. O enlightened one; pass your time always contemplating on Atman while you are experiencing all the results of Prarabdha; for it ill becomes you to feel distressed.

90. The theory one hears of from the scripture, that Prarabdha does not lose its hold upon one even after the origination of the knowledge of Atman, is now being refuted.

91. After the origination of the knowledge of Reality, Prarabdha verily ceases to exist, inasmuch as the body and the like become non-existent; just as a dream does not exist on waking.

92. That Karma which is done in a previous life is known as Prarabdha (which produces the present life). But such Karma cannot take the place of Prarabdha (for a man of knowledge), as he has no other birth (being free from ego).

93. Just as the body in a dream is superimposed (and therefore illusory), so is also this body. How could there be any birth of the superimposed (body), and in the absence of birth (of the body) where is the room for that (i.e., Prarabdha) at all?

94. The Vedanta texts declare ignorance to be verily the material (cause) of the phenomenal world just as earth is of a jar. That (ignorance) being destroyed, where can the universe subsist?
 95. Just as a person out of confusion perceives only the snake leaving aside the rope, so does an ignorant person see only the phenomenal world without knowing the reality?

    96. The real nature of the rope being known, the appearance of the snake no longer persists; so the substratum being known, the phenomenal world disappears completely.

     97. The body also being within the phenomenal world (and therefore unreal), how could Prarabdha exist? It is, therefore, for the understanding of the ignorant alone that the Shruti speaks of Prarabdha.

     98. “And all the actions of a man perish when he realizes that (Atman) which is both the higher and the lower”. Here the clear use of the plural by the Shruti is to negate Prarabdha as well.
   99. If the ignorant still arbitrarily maintain this, they will not only involve themselves into two absurdities but will also run the risk of forgoing the Vedantic conclusion. So one should accept those Shrutis alone from which proceeds true knowledge.

The above proves that the karma is reality only on the base of false self, where one thinks body and the universe as reality. When one becomes aware of the fact that, the true self is formless soul, then the karma becomes part and parcel of illusion.   My point is that, if one accepts the karma theory as reality, he will never be able to come out of the ignorance. And ignorance makes him believe the cycle of birth, life and death as reality.  Thus the freedom which one is seeking will remain distant dream. For the one who accepts the birth life and death as reality, Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is impossible.

Thus it is necessary for the seeker of truth to know the fact that, the body which is born, lives and dies is not the self. Since he is taking the body to be the self, he is experiencing the duality as reality.

As Sri, Sankara says:  When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman, and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman.

If body is not the Atman or soul, the innermost self, then the karma theory has no meaning on the standpoint of the truth. Thus no second thing exists other than Atman, therefore why to view the worldview on the standpoint of the body as self (ego or waking entity) when the body (ego or waking entity) is the false self, and the soul or Atman is the true self.

If body is not the self, then the birth, life, death and the universe are bound to be illusion.  If birth, life and death are illusion then all conducts actions and their fruits are mere illusion. If body is not the self, then the existence of god, heaven and hell is mere illusion.  If body is not the self then all religious beliefs of god is mere illusion.  If body is not the self but the Atman (soul)which is in the form of consciousness is the true self, then there is no scope for second thing other than consciousness,    therefore consciousness, which is Atman is Brahman or ultimate truth.  The Brahman alone is real and eternal.  Thus whatever is real eternal has to be identified as god. To identify the real and eternal, one has to overcome the ignorance caused by the illusion. To overcome the ignorance one has to acquire the Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

If one has still attachment to his religion and concepts then he is not ripe enough to take the inner journey.

A Gnani encourages the seekers to think in a different way. Everyone whether religious or non-religious, whether they have perception or none, he tries to bring them toward the boundless freedom from experiencing the duality as reality.  He never claims himself to be a Gnani.  He never indulges in pursuit of argument.

He tries to sow the seed of non-duality, which grows subconsciously and at right time it will start maturing and starts yielding fruits. The non-dual seed creates the doubts and confusion and one starts thinking on his own to find answers for all his doubts and confusions which creates an urge to know the truth of his true existence.  Thus the inner journey begins.

Why vast majority of seekers are not liberated even after their chosen paths, gurus’ guidance, scriptural mastery, yogic practice and theoretical philosophy because all these are inadequate and useless in pursuit of truth.

A common error amongst follower of the Godmen is to jump to the conclusion that he possesses miraculous powers because unusual coincidences happen in a few cases, which they universalize.

Everyone likes Religion because it belongs to the world of sentiments, emotions. Religion changes as it appeals to different emotions. One will find at one pole the nude sadhu is admired; at the other the gorgeously-robed swami or guru is revered.

People get carried away by miraculous powers of   the Godmen.  Such powers have no value from ultimate standpoint. What is the use of all the miraculous powers which is not useful in stopping all the calamities like epidemics, starvation, earthquake and tsunamis? Why they  collect money from the people, if their miracle power produces everything other than the money.

Why to build super specialty hospital when they cannot cure people with their  miraculous power all these doubts arise to the people who are in search of the truth.    From ultimate standpoint whatever miracles performed and whatever miracles experienced is part of the duality, which is mere illusion.  Therefore, whatever is experienced in the false hood is bound to be falsehood.

Most of the gurus who pretend to be Gnanis and illustrate the ‘I know’ attitude adopted because their guru told them so, both of them not knowing really. They are  certainly brilliant intellectually in their  other spheres, in the worldly plane , but remember the truth that most of these pretending Gnanis  keep the quest of truth in watertight compartments apart from the other sections of their brain.

Most people apply reason admirably to their worldly business, but drop it and use feeling or emotion only when trying to philosophize.

People magnify every minor coincidence or every petty fact where these yogis were concerned, and they see miraculous or esoteric significance therein.  They are duped, because they are unaware of the fact that, all experiences takes place in the waking experience and waking experience also is also as false as  a dream.  Therefore, it is necessary to realize the fact that, self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity, but the self is the formless seer of all the three states.

All the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness, which is the true self.  Holding the consciousness as self  and dropping the mirage[three states]  mentally one is  in the realm of non-duality.

Religious or yogic truth is individual truth. The ultimate truth is not individual ,because the self is not an individual it is universal.” This means religionist and yogis takes their feeling and experience as truth whereas the Gnani takes his reasoned judgment, which will be the same under test everywhere in the universe.

If one has still attachment to his religion and concepts then he is not ripe enough to take the inner journey.  Only when one finds his inherited belief system is inadequate and useless in quenching his inner thirst,  then only he will be able to take the inner journey.  Thus it is no use of forcing anyone to path of truth because the urge to know the truth has to come from within.

It is not of any use criticizing any guru or his teaching. By criticizing any guru or teaching nothing will be gained but one has highlight how they are inadequate and create obstacle in pursuit of truth.    Seekers main aim is to acquire self-knowledge, not indulge criticism or indulge in argument.  Lot of patience and humility is needed in pursuit of truth. All discussion based on accumulated knowledge is unnecessary and it is waste of time.  Same time can be utilized to unlearn what has been learnt and accumulated and start again as a fresh.

No one has been liberated with the egocentric spiritual paths and practices. Even anyone claims that they are self- realized   that is only hallucinated realization. It is because a  real  Gnani who is aware of  the ultimate truth never  holds ‘I’   or ‘I AM’ self, and  never  thinks self is limited to individual. Thus the all the practices which hold the individual experiences such as bliss and Samadhi as self-realization are mere hallucinating through their imagination.

Until one finds satisfaction with the meaning of ornamental words they will be in the prison of emotion.  The emotions and sentimentalism is the greatest obstacle in realizing the fact that ,the self is not form but self is formless, because, the emotion and sentimentalism belongs to the realm of form.   To overcome the emotion and sentimentalism one has to realize the fact that, the self is not form.

People get involved with some teacher and teaching and emotionally involved and leave their further search in the name surrendering to the guru. Such surrender will not yield any fruit. It is mere religious fable.  Surrendering within the duality to some person is not  a true surrender, because the duality is not reality.

When the form and names are falsehood by surrendering to false entity is false surrender.  The guru and god is inner most self. One has to trace the formless self and realize it as his true identity, is real surrender.

Self is the seer of all the three states and it is ever free. Because it is not an entity or identity within the waking or dream but it is formless substance of all the three states.

If one sees the seer as physical then he is in the clutches of duality thus he is in the bondage of experiencing the duality as reality.   Thus one has to trace the formless witness to realize the fact that, the self is not the form but self is formless.

Only when one becomes aware of the fact that, universe (which contains   all the names and forms forest, ocean, hills, sky, earth, stars and planets) is nothing but mirage created out of consciousness then there is nothing to realize because whatever one has seen, known, believed and experienced as person of the universe is mere mirage. Thus consciousness alone is real all else is mere mirage created out of consciousness.  Thus realizing the consciousness as self, which is real and eternal is self-realization.

Until one thinks “I AM” as self, he will remain in the prison of duality

All the three states are an object to the formless subject. The object is the form [universe or mind] and the subject is formless consciousness (soul). All the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness. . There is nothing that is not consciousness in objectified waking or dream. There is consciousness alone and nothing else.  Consciousness is formless and limitless, and it is the source from where the mind rises and subsides as waking or dream.

One confronts the world within the waking or dream experience.  The duality is within the waking or dream. There is non-duality in deep sleep. The dream entity and the dream world are reality within the dream. Likewise the waking entity and the waking world are reality within the waking. Therefore, the waking is parallel dream and dream is parallel waking experience.  The duality exists in waking or dream and duality ceases in deep sleep.

The form, space and time are reality within the duality.  Until one hold the form as self he is in the grip of time and space.  The form, time and space exist together and disappear together.  One has preconceived inherited conditioning that, he is an individual separate from the world and world existed prior to him, and he is born in this world afterwards. Until this preconceived conditioning is there he is bound hold the birth, life, death and world as reality.  Until one holds the experience of birth, life, death and world as reality, it is difficult for him to overcome the inherited conditioning, which is the cause of the ignorance.

One cannot overcome the  ignorance, until he makes sure of the fact that, the self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the  self is the formless witness of the three states, which comes and goes in succession.  Until one becomes aware of the fact that, the self is not human it is difficult to get rid of the humanized conditioning. Without getting rid of this  conditioning it is difficult rectify the reasoning base from form to formless.

All the accumulated knowledge based on the ego is useless raft to  cross the ocean of duality. Therefore, perfect understanding and assimilation is required to assimilate and realize the non-dual truth.

Until one thinks “I AM” as self,  he will remain in the prison of duality, because he will not accept anything other than whatever he has heard and read without going deeper and  he  keeps himself busy with intellectual speculation.  And his  egoic attitude will not allow him  to go beyond duality.

Assuming and speculating with second-hand knowledge without verifying with deeper reasoning is like eating the half-baked cake and sharing the same half-baked cake with others.

Seeker of truth has to reach mentally until they get the un-contradictable truth. Only the non-dual or Advaitic  truth is un-contradictable. One has to make sure whatever he knows as truth is un-contradictable.  Seekers should never indulge argument with others. Seeker should discuss with the fellows seekers and he should accept only, if it is un-contradictable truth after deeper reasoning.  Through constant deeper reasoning, the inner dialog will start and it will reveal the un-contradictable truth on its own.

Everyone longs to be perpetually happy, without any suffering. Since in everyone the highest love is alone felt for one’s self.  Since happiness alone is the cause of love, in order to attain that happiness, which is one's real nature and which is experienced daily in the mindless state of deep sleep, it is necessary to know one’s self. To achieve that, one has to become aware of the fact that, the self is not the form but the self is formless.

Until one thinks the form as self, the birth, life, death and the universe will prevail as reality. If the experience of the  birth, life, death and universe is accepted as reality than  the sense of time and space will prevail as reality. If form, time and space as reality then the duality will prevail as reality. If duality is accepted as reality the illusion is experienced as reality. If illusion is accepted as reality then the ignorance prevails. If ignorance prevails   then one thinks the ‘I’ or I AM as self.  If ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ is considered as self, then it becomes very difficult to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

By mentally negating ’I’ or ‘I AM’, the formless  consciousness alone will prevail in its formless and non-dual true nature, without the waking or dream. That is self-awareness.  Thus consciousness alone is real and the experience of duality (mind) is mere illusion created out of consciousness?  Therefore it is necessary to know “What is Mind?” and “What is substance of the mind?” in order to reach the ultimate end.
