Those who grasp that body and world are created out of consciousness belong to the highest grade of intellects.

Yoga is only valuable tool to bring seeker to indifference to sensation and sense perception and thus prepare him for belief in and pursuit of perfection as an attainable goal.

The intellectuals cannot get over their tallest hurdle, not because they cannot see that the body is also part of the waking experience because they are so strongly attached to the body that they modify or fit their theories to please this attachment. In short, they refuse to give up the body. And they view, judge and concludes everything on the base of body [‘I’] as self.

People, who think body and world are real, are fit for yoga and mysticism, which is for the middling class of intelligence. Those who grasp that body and world are created out of consciousness  belong to the highest grade of intellects.

Consciousness, which is the Self, is the only reality

Consciousness, which is the Self, is the only reality. 'Reality' is defined as that which does not undergo any change at any time. Consciousness, which is absolutely changeless and eternal, is alone real.

The mind, which is in the form of universe, keeps on changing all the time and so it cannot be considered as real. People cannot dismiss it as unreal, because they are unaware of the fact that, their existence is dependent on something unknown to them.

The mirage is being mistaken for real. The mirage so seen produces the effect of reality. Thus universe seen is in the form of mirage therefore its reality is limited to the mirage alone. On verification through deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning it is found that the universe or mind never existed and that the consciousness alone was there all the time.

The mind cannot be described as both real and unreal, because these two contradictory qualities cannot exist in the same substance. It must therefore be said that the mind is neither real nor unreal because it is mere mirage.

Mind is myth because it is mere mirage. ‘Universe appears to exist as real because of our ignorance of consciousness. Thus the mind, which is in the form of universe, is reality on the base of the physical self, which perceives the world as a person, within the mind.

Man and universe exist as real because of ignorance of consciousness, which is the true self. This ignorance not only covers consciousness, but it projects the universe as a reality. The universe has no reality apart from consciousness. When the knowledge of consciousness arises, the universe is seen as a mere appearance of consciousness.

Those who know the Self is neither body, nor mind but the self is consciousness, the principle of existence, find the ultimate truth

The truth is hidden within the mind. Those who know the Self is neither body, nor mind but the self, which  is consciousness, the principle of existence, find the ultimate truth, which is beyond form, time and space.

If one attaches himself with some teacher, teaching, theories and try to convince on it by the arguments refuting the other teaching or theories, he will not be able to understand the fact that, the truth is beyond all the teachings and theories and argument. There is no need for any argument in pursuit of truth. One has to learn to view and judge the truth on the base of the soul as self, and by using his reason he will be able to know “what is truth ?” and “what is untruth?” and mentally reject the untruth.

As soon as waking takes place from deep sleep, one confronts ready-made universe, including e its perceiver. To examine it closely, he becomes aware of the fact that, man and his experience of the universe appeared together, which had disappeared together. Thus the man and the universe co-exit.

Thus, the one which knows the appearance and disappearance of the waking or dream or deep sleep is neither waking entity nor the dream entity, because the waking entity exists within the waking and dream entity exists within the dream. And in deep sleep there is neither waking entity, nor dream entity. Then what is it that is conscious of the appearance and disappearance of the three states in succession, without the physical apparatus.

It is conscious of the appearance and disappearance of the three states without a break, beyond the shadow of a doubt. This, on closer analysis, is found to be that changeless, subjective Consciousness itself.

The knowledge of one object implies the ignorance of all objects other than that particular object. The ignorance of all objects in deep sleep means really the positive knowledge of the self, which is consciousness. Consequently, the ignorance of the ordinary man in deep sleep is really the knowledge of his own self, which is Consciousness.

Our deep sleep experience is ignorance of the true self, which is consciousness. The so called ignorance of the world in deep sleep is nothing but the knowledge of the self, which is consciousness. Thus the experience in deep sleep, if properly understood, is only one; and that is our true self, which is consciousness. There is only one there; and hence the ignorance of the many is no experience at all.

One is aware of the deep sleep experience only in waking, which is the state of ignorance. Only when one gets rid of the ignorance in waking he becomes aware of the fact that, the self is not physical but it is consciousness, which is conscious of the appearance and disappearance of all the three states in succession. By Holding on to consciousness as self, the three states are mere mirage created out of the consciousness. When the truth is realized, then there is no mirage, it is only consciousness which exists as nondual existence.

Gnani is the one who has clear understanding, assimilation and realization that, the consciousness is the true self.

Nondual wisdom involves understanding that consciousness is always attribute-less, the abidance in that attribute-less consciousness requires constant reflecting on the nature of the mind.

One has to firmly get established in the knowledge that one has already assimilated. If he has already realized it, then he is a Gnani.
Gnani is the one who has clear understanding, assimilation and realization that, the consciousness is the true self. And consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the three states by constant inquiry, analysis and reasoning.
Ego functions whether it is Gnani or ignorant but a Ganani understands the demarcation while ignorant thinks he is the doer. One has to ascertain the fact that, the self is not physical but self is formless consciousness.

Knowing consciousness as self, mind becomes known.

Knowing consciousness as self, mind becomes known.  Knowing consciousness as self nothing else remains to be known. Knowing consciousness as self one attains to immortality that is the beginningless ultimate reality.
A Gnani is fully aware, and sees the consciousness in all beings and in everything, existing equally and deathless in the living and the dying.

Consciousness is present within all the three states but without the three states. Consciousness is present in all the moving and unmoving, incomprehensible, far and near, impartible, sustaining everything in the waking and dream experiences.
Until one recognizes the source of the mind, one is bound to believe his birth entity as real self and his experience of universe as reality. This body one is so proud of is not the self.  The body and universe exist within the mind. Therefore there is a need to know the source of the mind. The body and the world are within the waking experience.  And the waking experience also will permanently vanish same way as dream, which is called death.
One has to know that the body and the world are within the mind. And mind is made of consciousness. Thinking the body is   made of five elements one becomes ignorant of the consciousness. By becoming ignorant of consciousness one is conditioned to believe the birth, life and death as reality. By believing the birth, life and death as reality one has strong conviction that the universe in which he is born is real, thus he experiences the illusion as reality. And all his reasoning and judgement is based on physical self, which is the false self within the false experience.
Mind merges into the source, from where it is originated. Therefore there is a need to mentally trace the source in order to discover the ultimate truth.
The true self is consciousness and consciousness is  devoid of attributes yet it  existing as if divided in beings, sustaining beings, devouring as well as generating beings within the illusion.
The consciousness is the light of all lights, beyond all darkness, the goal of knowledge, dwelling and pervading everything and everywhere   in all the three states as their formless substance and witness. Consciousness is the One to be known as ultimate truth.
These three states are temporary - they will pass away. One should not be so proud, looking at his beautiful body and the beauty of the universe, which are within the waking experience. When the time ceases the waking ceases,    like the snake shedding its skin, the consciousness sheds the three states.
The mind is like perishable.  Like   frail and perishable; the paper is limited. When the drop of water falls upon it, the paper crumbles and dissolves instantaneously same way the reality of the mind which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep dissolves when their unreal nature is exposed through wisdom.
Even though the self is something other than this material body, the majority of people still identify themselves with it. Why? The main reason people identify the physical body as self, is because of the ignorance of the Real Self, which is consciousness.
Whosoever identifies his-self with this bundle of bones and flesh is ignorant.  Now the question arises: If self is not this body, then what is self? If body with the name is not self then what is one’s true Identity which is without the body and name?
Self is the consciousness and consciousness is ultimate truth.  One has to recognize the consciousness as the true self in order to know the three states are unreal.
The three states are temporary, while the true self ,which is  consciousness , is the  formless substance and witness of the three states  real  and  Immortal Therefore, this mind is  false and impermanent, and the  Soul or consciousness ,which is  the real Self is True and permanent.
Consciousness is not human, and it is not a demigod. Consciousness is not celibate, or a worshipper. Consciousness is not a Yogi, and it is not a hermit. Consciousness is not a mother or anyone's son because it is formless and one without the second.
Consciousness dwells in all the three states.  No one can find its limits. Consciousness is not a house-holder, and it is not a renouncer. Consciousness is not a president of the country, and it is not a beggar. Consciousness is neither the guru nor disciple.  Consciousness has no body, no drop of blood. Consciousness is neither a Hindu, nor Christen, nor a Muslim.
Consciousness is not called a man of austere self-discipline, or an orthodox. Consciousness does not live, and it is not seen to die. When the ignorance [Birth, life, death and world] vanishes through wisdom consciousness alone will prevail as nondual existence.
Mind is formed of the same essence as the soul, which is in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is stable it like the ink on the news paper which cannot be erased.
The ultimate goal, aim or purpose of human existence is to become linked or re-established in his true identification, the unconditioned consciousness. This is Self-Realization — the realization of man's True Self, the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness. Once one attains this pure awareness within, then he recognizes that "consciousness is the real self, and self is consciousness ".
Consciousness is Soul, and the mind is in soul or consciousness. This is realized through reflecting constantly on the consciousness which is the formless substance and witness of the three states. .
Seeker has to recognize mentally that "consciousness is self”. He who knows this secret through deeper inquiry, analyses and reasoning become free from experiencing the illusion as reality.
Consciousness is within the mind, and the mind is within the consciousness but it is without the mind. This is realized through reflecting on this subject.

The consciousness is the formless essence of the mind.  Therefore, the mind and soul are one is essence.

The consciousness is beyond all the happenings, which are happening within the waking or dream

The consciousness is beyond all  the  happenings, which are happening  within the waking or dream, because it is not an entity or identity within the waking or dream, but consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states as their formless substance.

Prior to the appearance of the waking consciousness was the same. Prior to the dream consciousness was the same. In deep sleep consciousness was the same. It remains unchanging throughout because it is mere formless witness of the three states.

Emptiness means empty of duality or illusion or mind. Consciousness is always there, and the "consciousness” cannot be empty because it is permanent. On the base of the consciousness as self the ignorance vanishes and wisdom takes its place.

Consciousness is the center of the physical existence or mind,

There are diverse spiritual practices in the form of prayers, meditation, yoga, tantra, glorifying the guru or god, meditation and inquiry. etc.

What the goal of spiritual practice might be is described differently in various religions and traditions. In some religions, the goal of spiritual practice is to go to heaven and be with angels, divine beings, and God. In some spiritual traditions, the goal of spiritual practice is said to be union with God. Still, in other schools of thought, the goal of spiritual is freedom from bondage from all concepts including the notions of heaven and God. There are many variations on these themes in the world religions.

The nature of life and existence is generally determined by one’s inherited cultural and traditional conditioning and upbringing or conditioning through circumstances.

From an Eastern meditative perspective, anything that allows the mind to be quiet and content and peaceful in awareness is spiritual practice. The schools of yoga in Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism emphasize the path of nonviolence in their spiritual practice. The goal of spiritual practice in these traditions is Moksha or Nirvana. Moksha or Nirvana imply release from all bondage and liberation from the cycle of birth, life and death.

The Advaita perspective within Hinduism emphasizes Self-knowledge as the only means to overcome the idea that one is separate from God or the Universe.  According to this philosophy, when the Self is realized, the false cognition that the world is different from the Self simply vanishes.

There is only consciousness, which is the true self; however when the consciousness is conceptualizes with different concepts and ideas, so it becomes difficult to understand and assimilate the nondual truth. Therefore there is no attainment of goal outside of consciousness which is the formless substance and witness of the three states.   Consciousness is the center of the physical existence or mind, and it pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states.  Deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning revels the fact that, consciousness is the true self.

Holding on to the awareness that the consciousness is the real Self is the goal. The consciousness is already there. The veil of ignorance has to be lifted to overcome the illusion. Therefore Self-Knowledge is the only tool to know and realize the fact that, the veil is mere mirage.

One can find answers to all questions if one first realizes the fact that, the self is not physical body but the self is that, which witnesses the physical body and the universe together, without the physical apparatus.
The ultimate answer to all the questions comes only after one realizes the self is not physical but self is consciousness.  One will be able to understand and assimilate the nondual truth only after he becomes aware of the fact that, the consciousness is the true self. Therefore, there is a necessary to realize the fact that, “consciousness” is the true self, in order to realize, the body and the universe are mere mirage created out of consciousness. Therefore the whole experience of diversity is nothing but consciousness. Thus consciousness is second to none.   Therefore, to understand and assimilate and realize the consciousness is ultimate truth nothing else will help other then the knowledge of the true self.

That which is unreal, that is duality, cannot contradict truth, nonduality.

That which is unreal, that is duality, cannot contradict truth, nonduality.  It cannot be counted as an adversary of non-duality.  The illusion cannot, 'oppose' the substratum, reality.  It can at best lead to the mistaking of the substratum.  Perfect understanding is the only way to overcome the ignorance.

Non-duality is the ultimate undeniable Truth.  Realization presupposes a state where there is ignorance about that Truth.  That such is not the reality is evidenced by the possibility of transcending the ignorance.  When this is achieved it would be clear, that all the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness. The one which is aware of these three states, which comes and goes is neither waking entity nor dream entity.  It is the consciousness, which is within the three states and also it is without the three states.

The waking or dream is state of ignorance. When one becomes fully convinced of the fact that, the consciousness is the true self, the ignorance vanishes and reality revels itself.  So, it is only in this realm of the ignorance the universe exists as reality.  When this realm of ignorance itself is known to be false, the body, ego, thoughts, feeling, perception are also false.  The Only Truth is non-duality, which is the true nature of the consciousness, which is ultimate truth.

Spiritual maturity is required for non-dual wisdom to arise. Seeker will be able to understand, assimilate as he moves on deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning.  Through perfect understanding, and assimilation the non-dual wisdom arises.

one has to  rid of ignorance by knowing and realizing the formless soul or  consciousness as self.  The truth is known only as a proof to the person concerned.  For others it is only doubt.  Ignorance, Knowledge, is known directly for the person concerned.  If ignorance has vanished, then there is non-dual wisdom.

When the seeking mind realizes the ultimate reality, it has abided into the consciousness, which is its true nature.

By realizing the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness; one is free from the illusory, birth, life, death and the world. In the realm of ultimate reality   has no seed of ignorance thus there is no duality.  For when a unreal superimposed on a real  has merged in the real on the discrimination of the real  and the unreal , it does not appear again to those discriminating people, just as before, from the impressions of past persisting in the intellect.

Wisdom destroys ignorance from its very root.   However, there will be the 'impressions' of the past perception of duality even after realization after truth. This is required for the physical apparatus to continue in the   world within the illusion.

Impressions require a locus and thus the physical apparatus is continuing.  The body is required to support the world and the body cannot exist without the world, because the body and the world appeared together and also they  will disappear together as illusion.

When the reason based on consciousness is developed and one is able to view and judge the worldview on the base of consciousness as self, then he has the yardstick to discriminate between the real and unreal. The reason based on consciousness as self once   gained will not go away despite the physical conditioning persisting.

Deliberate suppression indicates identity with the physical entity.  If one suppresses his conditioned attributes than that suppressed conditioned attributes   would definitely come out in one way or the other.

He who knows the 'thoughts '  words  as the consciousness , he is the knower of  ultimate truth, who has realized the highest Truth, has entered into the consciousness  by burning away the accumulated physical based dross, which was cause of ignorance , and hence he is free from experiencing the illusion as reality.  In the realm of truth   consciousness has no seed of ignorance for illusion.  For when mirage is  superimposed on consciousness  has merged in the consciousness  on the discrimination of the real  and the unreal , it does not appear again as real  to those discriminating people, just as before, from the impressions of past persisting in the intellect.

Even though the truth is realized had, even though the ignorance has been dispelled, the three states will continue to appear to him and he will be interacting/reacting thru the ego, which will be driven / supported by the physical conditioning.

Non-duality is not a theory; it is the Absolute Truth.  One has to view the worldview on the standpoint point of consciousness as self, then there no conflict.

Deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning are the one that leads to the non-dual truth.  Consciousness exists always and without   undergoing any change. The three states are none other than the consciousness, because their formless substance and witness is consciousness. One has to understand the difference between the states of ignorance and state of reality.

There is the distinction between states of ignorance and state of reality.  The formless witness, which is consciousness, as differentiated from the state of ignorance.

For the realization of the true of the Self does not tolerate any distinction. The consciousness  is second to none. It is the formless substance and witness of ignorance, which appears as mind, when the ignorance vanishes through wisdom it alone, as non-dual existence.  There is no scriptural Authority nor scriptural teaching, no pupil, nor training. There is neither YOU nor I nor the Others nor this universe.

The scriptures and teachings belong to the realm of ignorance. They do not have a distinct existence in the ultimate truth.  All scriptures, including those directed at teaching the means for liberation belong to the realm of ignorance.

Any formulation being illusory because it is object of cognition external to consciousness  - have been generated by the very mirage ,  which gives rise to the illusion of universe  of wonderful variety in all animated and unanimated  objects.

The mind is   an illusion. The word 'non-duality ' itself is only relative.  The word is used only to distinguish this from concepts like 'duality '.  A realized one will not see any object [three states] as absolutely real.  He might use one or the other or a combination of several to help others who might seek his help.  All thoughts and words lose their identity in the ultimate truth that is no thoughts or words by itself.

Non-duality is the ultimate truth and it is not a theory.  Ultimate truth is ever the Truth, Reality, never to be negated, never negatable.

The formless ‘witness’, is consciousness and it  never, fades, since it is indestructible. The consciousness is, one without a second.  Consciousness, which is Infinite, is ultimate truth.  Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the illusion, which is in the form of mind. Consciousness is the true self.  Consciousness never goes out of existence.

Non-duality is not a theory; it is the ultimate truth that transcends all theories.  It is only to guide the seekers towards the ultimate Truth, the words are used. Seekers goal should be to realize the ultimate truth.

One has to see the body, ego and the universe as consciousness.

It is wrong to say the world arise from the mind.  The mind itself arises from the soul, which is in the form of consciousness.   The man and the world are within the mind. Until one thinks the mind is within the body he will not be able to go beyond duality.  Therefore, there is a need to understand what is mind, which appears as whole experience of waking or dream [duality] and disappears as deep sleep [non-duality].

When the self is not the body, then what is the use of body based practices like tantra.  They speak of tantric sex but when the true self is formless and it has no gender and in the realm of wisdom no second thing exist other then consciousness.  When there is no man & woman and the world in reality how one can get non-dual ecstasy in sexual climax.   The self is always apart from the appearance.   And whatever is happening within the appearance is nothing to do with the true self.

Meditation is not wisdom. When self is formless and nature of the self itself is meditation then what is the use of doing meditation as physical body? The self is always apart from   the physical body and the world, because, it witnesses the body as well as the world together.    The self is the formless witness of three states.  Therefore, the main agenda of pursuit of truth is to realize the self as consciousness [formless], and then only it is possible to understand and assimilate the Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

There is only consciousness, which is the true self; however when the consciousness is conceptualizes with different concepts and ideas, so it becomes difficult to understand and assimilate the non-dual truth. Therefore there is no attainment of goal outside of consciousness, which is the formless substance and witness of the three states.

Therefore Self-Knowledge is the only tool to know and realize the fact that, the veil mere mirage.

One can find answers to all questions if one first realizes the fact that, the self is not physical body but the self is that, which witnesses the physical body and the universe together, without the physical apparatus.

The ultimate answer to all the questions comes only after one realizes the self is not physical but self is consciousness.  One will be able to understand and assimilate the non-dual truth only after he becomes aware of the fact that, the consciousness is the true self.

Without knowing the nature of the world, it is impossible to know truth. What is the use of trying to find the inner self before one understands the world, which confronts him? One has to know the world which confronts him is also consciousness.

First one must inquire into the nature of the body. Second he must inquire into the nature of the mind.
Seeker has to look at everything in nature because in everything there is consciousness. One should not avoid them, or shut his eyes to Nature; one should not shut himself away from the world, which is as much consciousness, as anywhere else. But people who are not sharp say to be non-observant and to withdraw, but keen observation are desirable and will help, not hinder one’s pursuit of truth. Seeker has to Take experiences as they come to him, he should not run away from the world in ascetic fear or shyness of them.
To say universe is illusion without first examining it, and inquiring into them thoroughly is to delude himself. This universe is common to all; therefore one must begin his inquiry with it first. It is only after he has inquired into the nature of the objective universe, that he should inquire into who is the knower. If, however he inquires into the knower before the inquiry into the universe, then it is mere mysticism. What is the world?, must precede what is mind ? What is the substance of the mind?, in pursuit of truth.
To know whole truth, one must know the whole universe as consciousness, otherwise he gets half-truth. Renouncing the worldly life to get the truth means incapacity to think, an impotency of thinking faculty.
One is primarily interested in himself. Hence, to get started on a higher quest he has to go to the root of his own self, i.e. to ask "What am I?" When as a later consequence of this practice he gets more impersonal he has to go to the root of the whole existence, i.e. to ask "What is mind?"
He who loses touch with the world, which confronts him and gives himself over to his thoughts alone takes his illusions to be realities and will never be able to go beyond his illusory reality.
Truth is What is this universe” “What is physical body or ego?  ” What are these three states” “What is the meaning all these together?"
What happens when thoughts are stilled? It is not the Self that is found. It is only mind. Therefore, through yoga, it is not possible to acquire non-dual wisdom.   Therefore the yogi does not know ultimate truth. Yoga is good to give peace and concentration, but only in order to start reasoning, i.e. thinking again to find the ultimate truth.
It is not enough to see a mere blank, in meditation. One has to see the body, ego and the universe as consciousness. One is free from ignorance not when he sees nothing at all, as in meditation but only when he sees the entire universe as consciousness. Hence one must know “What is mind, which appeared as universe?”, in order to unfold the mystery of the mind.

The ignorance of the true self is cause of duality.

It is the illusion that allures one to enjoy the mundane objects in a futile effort of satisfying the unceasing demands of his senses within the waking or dream. A person within the illusion becomes intoxicated of lust, greed, anger, attachment, false ego, enviousness, stubborn mindedness, and their numerous variations within the illusion.

Consequently, the individual self gets caught in the illusory cycle of birth, old age, disease, and death within the illusion. This is illusion, by which the consciousness is forgotten; emotional attachment and love of duality is born.

The ignorance of the true self is cause of duality. The duality is cause of illusion. The illusion is the cause of experiencing unreality as reality.

Because of this pluralistic phenomena of illusory -vision, the material happiness appears to be followed by sorrow. If there is laughter, there is a cry; if there is a birth, there is a death; if there is a rich, there is a poor; so on and so forth.

Everything in the waking or dream experience is in the state of constant flux; there can be found no everlasting happiness. The ego is in the control of evil passions, evil intent, and duality.

Everyone wishes for happiness, pleasures, joy, peace, etc. and none asks for suffering, misery, etc. But in the wake of pleasure, there comes suffering. The pleasure and pain co-exists within the illusion. People do not understand this.  Therefore, there is necessary to realize the fact that mind, which appears as waking or dream is mere illusion.

There is a need to know fact that,  the ‘I’ is not limited to the physical entity alone but ‘I’ is the mind, which appears and disappears as waking or dream. If there is no ‘I’ then there is neither waking nor dream.  If there is ‘I’ then there is mind. If there is mind then only there is waking or dream. Therefore mind is not limited to the physical entity alone.   Therefore, there is a need to analyze “What is ‘I?”, before indulging in pursuit of truth, in order overcome all the flaws in understanding and assimilating the non-dual truth.   The ‘I’, which appears as mind is impermanent.  The formless substance of the ‘I’/mind is real and eternal.

The ignorance of the true self is cause of duality.
