Man and his experience of the world are within the illusion.

Man is not conscious of the fact  that, everyone is propelled by an irrepressible urge to know the truth within and facilitate its manifestation. The influence of religion, inborn ignorance,  parental grooming and society and circumstances creates a strong mindset, which actually makes one to believe ‘Self’ is physical and view and judge the worldview on the base of physical self with its logical conclusion. Thus, the physical self becomes mode of receptivity.  The physical self or ego becomes a big obstacle that has to be overcome by seekers by proper and perfect understanding. 

One has to  realize the fact that “Self” is neither the waking entity nor the self is dream entity  but self  is the formless  soul or spirit.  the soul or spirit is the innermost self. The soul is present in the form of consciousness.  

 

Deeper self-search reveals the fact that the, self is neither the waking entity nor the self is the dream entity but the self is formless soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states in succession without the physical apparatus.  This has to be mentally grasped and assimilated to realize the formless soul, the innermost   self is nothing to do with the three states. On the standpoint of the three states, the three states are mere illusion.

People think that the ‘soul’ or ‘spirit’ is something different from the mind. They believe that the mind is really two. This is the confusion among religionists and intellectuals. If ‘Soul’ has any meaning, if ‘spirit’ has any meaning, so long as one thinks of them, they are merely ideas. No, Mind is the highest: it is consciousness, non-dual wisdom.

 Man and his experience of the world are within the illusion. Therefore, whatever is happening within the illusion is bound to be illusion. Thus, the birth, life and death are mere illusion; therefore the meaning of life is mere illusion.  

If “Self’ is not waking entity then whatever one believed of himself, world, God and religion within the waking experience is  bound to be falsehood. Therefore, ‘Mind’ which is the whole Waking experience or dream is mere illusion. Limiting the mind to the physical entity is cause of the ignorance. 

Thus searching the truth as a person and believing the mind is within the physical apparatus and searching for the truth will lead only towards hallucination.  The one that has the illusion is the soul or spirit, the innermost self . 


The formless substance and witness of the illusion is the soul or spirit. The formless substance itself is witness of the illusion because there is no second thing other then the soul/spirit exists even though there is diversity within the illusion.

When the facts about the nature of the illusion is discovered and realized than  the reality of the illusion(waking or universe)  is exposed  and only the formless non-dual substance which is soul or spirit will prevail as ultimate reality.

We have to grow from the inside out. None can teach us, none can make us spiritual. There is no other guru but our own soul.”

Self-knowledge or Atma Gnana or Brahma Gnana cannot be attained by one who is without strength or earnestness or without the receptiveness and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth. If a serious seeker strives sincerely by means of inquiry, analysis and soul-centric reasoning, he will be able to realize it.

It is only seekers sincerity and earnestness in his spiritual pursuit, the knowledge started revealing on its own.  Anyone who has humility and patience and is sincere and ready to drop their accumulated dross and receptive to accept the truth will enter non-dual Self-Awareness when his conviction becomes firm.

Till man thinks as a man he is still ignorant of the truth.

In illusion one is after ceaseless quest of happiness, but it creates bundle of unlimited desires and everyone striving to fulfill them, but the fact of the matter is that the whole Waking experience(duality)  itself is an illusion. Thus man has sadly mistaken to think himself as person and his experience of the world as reality.  The unscrupulous hunt for material wealth and power blinds him of reality. As a consequence, he sinks deeper in illusory experience of duality and gets caught up in the web of duality thinking it as reality.

Duality means life. Life means full of pleasure or pain. On deeper analysis, the seeker becomes aware of the fact that, life is mere  illusion. The experience of duality(waking or universe)  is inconstant, like bubble on the water. The whole life is ups and downs of pain and pleasure. No one can escape the experience of the illusion without wisdom.

Seeker should therefore recognize the formless substance of the mind or duality in order to get wisdom and escape from the illusory cycle of birth, life and death.

Religious rituals, prayers, worships and yogic practices cannot invoke the wisdom rather they are big hindrance in realizing the reality because , they strengthen the conviction that duality as reality. One need not criticize religion or its scriptures, but he has to realize they are not the means to acquire non-dual wisdom. Since religion and yoga are based on the physical self(waking entity or ego)  but the non-dual wisdom is based on the soul, which is the innermost self.

Religious believers  thinks they are realized souls because they are practicing religion. Till  man thinks as a man he is still ignorant. The realization of the truth happens only when one  he realizes his body   and his experience of the world  are mere mirage created out of consciousness(soul), the innermost self.  on the standpoint of the consciousness(soul) as self the universe is non-extent as reality. 

The most important is thing is that constant reflecting on  soul   is very much necessary in order to invoke the wisdom. It is essential to learn to cultivate to view and judge the worldview on the standpoint of soul as “Self” in order to realize the truth ,which is beyond form,time and space.

The journey of “Self Realization “begins with the first step.

The journey of “Self Realization “begins with the first step. It is very much necessary to discuss the basics, whether “Self Realization” is related to religion, yoga and modern science or any other subject. The religion, yoga or modern science is no way related to  “Self Realization because they are based on the physical self or ego.  The physical self or ego  reality within the illusion therefore, they are nothing to with the ultimate truth.

In the formative years, the religious propensities of an individual are shaped and formed initially by parents, which is substantial. These inherited religious conditioning or samskaras handed down as a precious legacy from one generation to the next generation.

Religion  is the tool to give conditioning or samskaras. Religion conditions man to be, to behave, to believe and to live as a person in the world(duality). Therefore religion is only a mind game. Thus with religious worship and rituals or prayers it is impossible to unfold the truth  because the truth is beyond form,time and space.

Leading religious orthodox life in strict accordance with moral and ethical conduct is only good and helpful lead a life within the illusion. But it is not a qualification for realization of truth. But all these religious and yogic conducts like faith, belief, devotion, service, and yogic-Samadhi will make the seeker of truth lull into spiritual inactivity.

There is also impact of views and trends prevalent in contemporary society. The cumulative effect of this condition from parents, religion and society create as strong mind set,  to view and judge the worldview on the base of physical self and believing the “Self” to be a person and individual and separate from the world.  Thus the sense of duality is created.

 The physical self  or ego operates as person with the name and gets caught up in the web of duality becomes unaware of the reality,which is beyond form,time and space.  Thus it gets a strong conviction that it is a person perceiving the world and its experience of the world as real.

Only when the seeker has the serious urge to know about the truth of his, own existence and when he indulges in deeper self-search he will be able discover and realize the fact that ‘self ’ is not “physical” but it is the formless  soul(consciousness or spirit).  

 If ‘Self’ is not the “physical”, then what is the “Self” without the “physicality”?  Thus seed of doubt is planted  and deeper self-search will go on and on till one mentally  reaches his non-dual destination.

Many who or contemplative have been haunted by certain profound questions in human life:-

v  What is this life? 

v  Who is the author of this life? 

v  What is the purpose behind this experience of the World?

v  From where this experience of the world perceived only through the perceiver has appeared?

It should be borne in mind however these question pertaining to the realm of spirituality where the authenticity of the answers cannot be established under laboratory conditions unlike in the case of modern science. That is why all these questions have been begging for answers down the ages.

The Soul or Spirit is in disguise of the whole illusion (universe or mind). Behind lowest worm as well as the highest human being are within the illusion. The soul or spirit is present as the formless s substance and witness of the illusion(universe or mind). No matter whatever sense of reality it may create within the illusion, the formless substance and witness is still soul or spirit.
