It is impossible to change circumstances of life by following spiritual laws because there is no law in the realm of the formless Soul, the Self.+*****

It is impossible to change circumstances of life by following spiritual laws because there is no law in the realm of the formless soul, the innermost self.  The laws imply duality. The duality is not a reality from the ultimate standpoint.  The happiness, misery and the world are one in essence.  That essence is consciousness. By realizing the essence as innermost self leads to Self-awareness.  In self-awareness the physical-based happiness, misery and the world are absent because there is only oneness.

Truth is hidden in everything and everywhere as formless substance and witness of the dual (waking or dream) and non-dual (deep sleep) experiences. To be enlightened is to know the formless substance and witness of the three states as ultimate truth.

The formless substance and witness is the soul or spirit or consciousness.  The mind or universe or waking (experience of diversity) rises from the formless Soul and subsides back as the soul or consciousness. Thus, the soul is the source of the mind, which is present as the universe. Universe rises as waking or dream subsides as deep sleep.

The three states are unreality on the standpoint of the formless soul or consciousness, the innermost self. Thus, the self is neither the waking entity [ego] nor the self is the dream entity but the self is the formless soul or consciousness, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states. Therefore, there is a need to learn to view and judge the three states on the base of the Soul as the Self, in order to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.

The pursuit of truth is to know the facts of one’s true existence. To Know the facts is to know the Truth. Most people are unaware of the fact that physical existence or universe  is merely an illusion   and live in a delusion Realization of  Ultimate Truth or Brahman is the Gateway to freedom from experiencing duality as reality.  Therefore there is a need to realize the fact that, the formless soul or consciousness is the innermost self, and soul or consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman. There is no truth without a formless Soul or consciousness.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Inner longing to know the truth, sharpness to grasp and courage to accept the truth leads one to self-awareness.+*****

Inner longing to know the truth, sharpness to grasp and courage to accept the truth leads one to self-awareness. People are immersed in ignorance and remain to experience the illusion as reality and they do not exert themselves to know the reality of their true existence.  By clinging to things unreal they think their experience of birth, life, death, and the world as reality.

By quoting the Scriptures and sacrifice to the gods, by performing rituals and worship the deities, but there is no freedom without the realization of one’s identity with the soul or consciousness, which is the true Self.

There is no hope of immortality by means of riches.  Action or inaction cannot be the cause of freedom because inaction also is action and action and inaction are part of the duality. People think by using lesser words or by keeping silence the truth emerges on its own but they keep hoping and remain in the prison of duality.

Seeker of truth has to strive his best for freedom from experiencing the illusion as reality, and fixing his attention on the formless substance and witness of the three states. The formless substance and witness are one in essence. That essence is consciousness. The consciousness alone is real and eternal and it is the source of the mind, which rises as the universe and subsides back as consciousness.

Having grasped, understood the ultimate truth intellectually, one should recover oneself, immersed in the illusory experience of ocean of birth, life, death and the world by means of devotion to the right discrimination.

Seeker of truth, having commenced the path of the Self- realization has to give up all physical-based theoretical practices and try to realize the fact that, the waking experience in which the individual experiences birth, life, death, and the world as reality is also is as unreal as the dream.

By realizing the formless substance and witness of the three states as consciousness one becomes free from experiencing the duality as reality. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Liberation from experiencing duality or illusion cannot to be attained through penance, scriptural studies and yogic practice or indulging religious rituals or god or guru glorification.

If one wants to have absence of contradictions, absence of duality, there must be one entity, one being. If one has experience which is an object (mind), there is contradiction between subject and object, for "mind” is an object.

The duality is reality on the standpoint of the false self (ego or  waking entity).  The duality is mere mirage on the base of the true self, which is formless consciousness. This understanding comes only to the serious seeker, who has real urge to know the ultimate truth, which is beyond the all the teachings and teachers. There is neither teaching, nor teacher, nor student in the realm of truth.

Consciousness is always present everywhere. It is within the form, time and space but it is beyond form, time and space, with not before or after. It is undeniable and obvious. Nothing can be said about it because it exists prior to the appearance of form, time and space and also it prevails after disappearance of the form, time and space.

As soon as one realizes that self is not the form but self is formless   then he becomes free from experiencing the illusory birth, life, death and the universe as reality.   True Self is free from the bondage of Karma, from the fetters of desires, from the mirage of this mundane life and its concomitant evils and miseries.

Motion means duality.  Motion is mind. The object appears to move only. Motion is illusion. Behind the objects that move there is the absolutely motionless consciousness which witnesses the motion. Consciousness is still, it is all-pervading, and Infinite.  Consciousness is everywhere, because it is all-pervading and infinite.

The true self is the soul. Soul is in the form of consciousness, which is hidden within the three states, and its nature is formless and nondual. It can be known only through discrimination between the dual and nondual experiences.  And it is beyond the reach of speech and words and thoughts and form, time and space.

Discriminating between the Soul, which is in the form of consciousness and mind, which is in the form of universe one realizes what is real and what is unreal. by identifying  soul or consciousness as true self  one becomes aware the mind which is in the form of universe is mere mirage created out of consciousness  and consciousness alone is real and ultimate truth or Brahman.

Liberation from experiencing duality or illusion cannot to be attained through penance, scriptural studies and yogic practice or indulging religious rituals or god or guru glorification.

Advaitic truth is very is very easy, but it is most difficult to understand and assimilate ***

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is nothing to do yogis, mystics, and religious Gurus. Religion and yoga are based on the ego, which is the false self within the dualistic illusion (waking) whereas Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the knowledge of the Soul, the innermost Self.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana pries into the reality, which is beyond form, time and space whereas the religion and yoga are within the domain of the form, time, and space.

Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana invalidates all the religious and yogic theories, which are based on the birth, life, death and religious beliefs and the world.

Advaitic truth is very is very easy,  but it is most difficult  to understand and assimilate because of the inherited beliefs and accumulated knowledge.

Without dropping all the inherited beliefs and accumulated knowledge which are based on the illusory form, time and space it is difficult to understand and assimilate the knowledge of the formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

If you have the courage of Buddha, who dropped religion, Vedas and the concept of God then only you are fit to acquire Self-knowledge.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara VC~.61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae) and medicines to such a one?

VC-  v6~ Let erudite scholars quote all the scripture, let Gods be invoked through sacrifices, let elaborate rituals be performed, let personal Gods be propitiated ~yet, without the realization of one‘s identity With the Self, there shall be no liberation for the individual, not  even in the lifetimes of a hundred Brahmas put together

Sage Sri, Sankara goes on to say: ~A sickness of not cured by saying the word “medicine.” You must take the medicine. Liberation does not come by merely saying the word “Brahman.” Brahman must be experienced. Until you allow this apparent universe to dissolve from your consciousness until you have realized Brahman, how can you find liberation just by saying the word Brahman? The result is merely a noise. Until a man has destroyed his enemies and taken possession of the splendor and wealth of the kingdom, he cannot become a king by simply saying “I am a king.”

A buried treasure is not uncovered by merely uttering the words: “Come forth.” You must follow the right directions, dig, remove the stones and earth from above it, and then make it,  your own. In the same way, the pure truth of the Atman, which is buried under Maya and the effects of Maya, can be reached by meditation, contemplation, and other spiritual disciplines but never by subtle arguments.
