Seeker of truth has to take the direct path and avoid losing precious time and effort***

Buddha: - There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting
The word Brahman means ultimate truth or reality which cannot be indicated by any word. The Brahman can be expressed through silence, because it is beyond the experience form, time and space. . Therefore, the word Brahma in the clearly stands for the essence of the three states, which is consciousness only. The final use of pursuit of truth is to know that Self is the consciousness.
Self-Realization is the direct realization of the ultimate truth, in contrast with traditional paths, which are indirect. And the other paths cannot lead to the ultimate destination because they are based on the false Self, which they hold as real Self and false experience as reality.
Until and unless one overcomes physical shackle it is impossible to understand and assimilate the nondual truth, which is beyond the physical existence or the universe. The Consciousness itself is Lord of itself though not of the universe. And having nothing it has all.
Seeker of truth has to take the direct path and avoid losing precious time and effort losing himself in philosophical studies.

Yoga Vasistha says: ~ Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a Guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of enquiry inspired by the company of wise (Gnani). One’s inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.

There is no need to condemn Gurus, but there is need highlight how they become an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Swami Vivekananda said: ~   “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but your own Soul.”

The Guru is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and Guru is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman   has already been known.
A Guru is needed in religious and the yogic path.  There is no need of a Guru in to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

The seeker has to have courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth because most people will not be able to subscribe to path of truth because they sentimentally and emotionally involved with their inherited belief system and even if one does he has to overcome all his doubts confusion and despair. These are problem for the seekers who are from religious background because of their conditioning and they are made to accept their blind belief as truth and their interest or insight is not deep. Thus all my blogs are useful analyse these problems because they highlight the what is not truth according to their own religious scriptures and make them to accepts the truth, and reject all the false conditioning and move ahead in pursuit of truth.

It becomes difficult for the orthodox cult to accept anything else as truth other than their accepted belief, which they hold as truth. Although all religious followers are participants alike in the spiritual endeavour of the world, overzealous flowers of each religion are not prepared to accord equal status to other faiths and assert the superiority of their own. Thus, the universal brotherhood is a total impossibility because it is difficult to accept anything other than their inherited belief system. Inter-religious harmony or understanding has become impossibility

Bhagvad Gita:cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword (weapon) of knowledge***

Whatever takes form as the duality is false. Only the nondual consciousness endures. When you understand the truth, beyond the form, time and space, the duality will never be a reality again. For the consciousness is infinite, within and without, like a mirror, and the image in a mirror.  The consciousness is everywhere, filling all things and flowing through the dualistic illusion forever.
The consciousness is like a lamp which lights up a theatre and reveals both a dancer and a stage.
The ignorance is the cause of  experiencing  the world  as a reality.  The world in which we exist is a dualistic illusion.   The ‘self is hidden within the dualistic illusion and it is without the dualistic illusion.
The mystic must become a constant slave to some line of "thought" or rather imagination, and then he will really see visions confirming his imaginations.

The mystic who sees God in vision has seen Him during the waking state. The waking experience itself an illusion. Thus, whatever seen within the illusion is bound to be an illusion. Thus, it is necessary for the mystic to realize his existence is a reality within the illusion.  Whatever belief of God one is familiar with through his inherited conditioning or samskara that he will see in his visions.  When man is the false Self within the false experience, then whatever he believes is bound to be falsehood.
God is the Soul the innermost Self.  The Soul is present in the form of the consciousness. God is not within you, but you and your experience of the world are within the God.  Self-realization is God realization because the Soul the innermost Self itself is God.  When you and your experience of the world disappear, then God alone prevails as formless, timeless and spaceless existence.
No dualities, no differentiation. Only Atman exists. Let us see in the words of Krishna:
Bhagvad Gita: 4: 22 :~ ".....who has gone beyond the conflicting dualities like good (happiness) and bad (sorrow)....."
Bhagvad Gita: 4: 42:~ ".....cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword (weapon) of knowledge. ....."
Bhagvad Gita: 5: 18:~The learned men (who have come out of delusions (Māyā), got rid of Avidya) see no differentiation have equal vision for a revered Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a cāndāla (outcaste, rogue, mleccha, demonic person etc)"
Bhagvad Gita: 5: 19:~ "Those who have achieved the true knowledge i.e. the 'Self-Knowledge' or the 'knowledge of Atman' and see no difference, are free from conflicting dualities have merged in Brahman"
Bhagvad Gita: 5: 20:~ "One who does not get excited out of happiness on getting good and does not get depressed on getting bad is situated in Brahman i.e. is merged in Brahman"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 9:"The one who has equal vision for a Selfless do gooder, a friend, a foe, an unbiased, a well-wisher, a depressed and jealous man, relatives, a righteous and a sinner is the best (as he sees no duality and differentiation but sees everything as Ātman)"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 32:~ “.....as one seeks and treats oneself with equal vision, the same way one who has equal vision for good and evil, for everybody is the best of all"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 8 :~ "For whom soil, a pebble and gold are alike, he is merged in Brahman"
Bhagvad Gita Gita: 7: 27:~ ".....people are getting entangled in the primordial ignorance (Avidya) of the conflicting dualities like good and evil, happiness and sorrow caused due to attachments, desires and hatred....."
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 28:~ “.....who have cut-off conflicting dualities (like good and evil) is determinedly in my service. ...."
Bhagvad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, in the last birth in the series of many births worships Me as~ Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"

Egocentric reason applied only to practical life within the practical world is called logic***

Logic is misunderstood. People cannot distinguish between reasoning and intellect as a Gnani does. Egocentric reason applied only to practical life within the practical world is called logic, intellect.

The  Soulcentric reason is the Spiritualistic reason is necessary to unfold the truth of the whole.

A Gnani   knows both egocentric reason (logic) and Soulcentric reason. He uses the egocentric reason (logic) in practical life within the practical world and uses the Soulcentric reason to know the truth beyond for, time and space.  Logic is very much necessary for the practical purpose. But the logic cannot be applied to discover the truth because logic implies duality and the ultimate truth is based on Nondualistic perspective.
To say rise above logic, is generally confused with saying "Rise above Reason." It is wrong to give up reason. Life does not consist only of waking state. We must take all three states into account.

If one sticks to the old formal logic, he cannot get at the truth. People seeing this insufficiency of logic, therefore wrongly say,  "Give up logic and go to intuition." Their error is “What is it that told them that logic was not enough?” It was Reason itself; not intuition. Thus, there is confusion between logic and reason.

Reasoning is interpretable in two ways. The defective interpretation is to apply it only to waking state. The correct interpretation is to apply it to the three states. The latter leads to the final settlement of the problems because it takes all data into consideration.

Logic, in short, is concerned with correct or valid thinking. Its main concern being non-contradiction, it can lay down the criterion of Truth as non-contradiction, but only with the assumed premises and not with facts. But when facts enter into consideration we have Reason but the same criterion of Truth remains, only the propositions with which we start must square with facts of experience, with observed data. Hence, reason includes logic or correct thinking as well as strict fidelity to experience or facts. Bad logic or insufficiency of facts or wrong data may lead to untruth. The scientist with a plethora of data may reason illogically and reach false conclusions. Reason avoids both those mistakes. While reason searches for truth, logic insists on valid or correct thinking only.

Intellect is the power or faculty of thinking logically. The Reason is the power or faculty of thinking truly or towards truth. By reason,  we go a step beyond the dualistic experience.
