The Advaitic orthodoxy has no truth.

The illusion can be understood only when the mind learns to view and judge the worldview, on the  base of the true self. The orthodox non-duality has no truth.

Vedic religion was modified and reintroduced with new add-ons   by Sri, Sankara a great Advaita Master to uplift the Vedic culture and Santana Dharma (Hinduism), which were in ruins in the clutches of Buddhism. 18 puranas are introduced in the name of Veda Vyasa. deeper self-search reveals the fact that, this puranic belief system is Indianized Abrahamic  framework.  thus Vedic religion  are nothing to with the puranic Gods and its beliefs.    

As one goes deeper in the annals of the history, it indicates the fact that, somewhere someone has added the puranas in the name of Veda Vyasa the grand master of Vedas. It is impossible to accept and believe that Veda Vyasa authored and introduced puranas which has all conceptual gods because:-

In Vedas the God has been described as:-

             Sakshi (Witness)

             Chetan (conscious)

             Nirguna (Without form and properties).

             Nitya (eternal)

             Shuddha (pure)

             Buddha (omniscient)

             Mukta (unattached).

It indicates clearly all the gods with form and attributes are mere imagination based on the false self.

And also   Yajurved says:-

Translation 1.

They enter darkness, those who worship natural things (for example air, water, sun, moon, animals, fire, stone, etc).

They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol etc.) -[Yajurved 40:9]

Translation 2.

"Deep into shade of blinding gloom fall asambhuti's worshippers. They sink to darkness deeper yet who on sambhuti are intent."

Translation 3.

"They are enveloped in darkness, in other words, are steeped in ignorance and sunk in the greatest depths of misery who worship the uncreated, eternal prakrti -- the material cause of the world -- in place of the All-pervading God, But those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time."

[Yajur Veda 40:9.]

So, Yajur Veda indicates that:-

They sink deeper in darkness those who worship sambhuti. (Sambhuti means created things, for example table, chair, idol etc [Yajurved 40:9]

Those who worship visible things born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like) in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness, in other words, they are extremely foolish, fall into an awful hell of pain and sorrow, and suffer terribly for a long time." [Yajur Veda 40:9.]

 When the religion of the Veda knows no idols then why so many gods and goddesses with different form and name are being propagated as Vedic gods. Why these conceptual gods are introduced when Vedic concept of god is free from form and attributes.

Who introduced concept of god with attributes and attributeless gods, when Yajur Veda says: -   those who worship visible things, born of the prakrti, such as the earth, trees, bodies (human and the like), in place of God are enveloped in still greater darkness. Therefore, all these add-ons proves that the form and attribute based concepts are introduced by some sages of the past with new belief system and code of conducts in the name of Vedas. 

Sruti is made the final or exclusive authority in apara Vidya and that for supporting the tenet of the CAUSAL relation or creatorship of Brahman, Nirguna Brahman = the "Absolute beyond qualities," which can be defined only in a negative way. For the Shankarian school = the Ultimate Reality, higher than the Lord. i.e. of Saguna or apara Brahman ... The support of Scriptural Revelation is, therefore, absolutely necessary for this hypothesis of cosmology, this Saguna or apara (= inferior) Brahman, but not for the absolute truth of Nirguna Brahman.  The Sruti itself says: "This Atma is NOT to be attained by a study of the Vedas.  [Katha Upanishad I, 2, 23.]  

Therefore, all the add-ons and attribute based knowledge, which are inferior, have to be bifurcated and excluded to know the ultimate truth.  The seeker of truth has to drop all the inferior knowledge based on the attributes and go beyond Vedas to understand assimilate and realize the ultimate truth or Brahman.  

One has to go beyond Vedas means go beyond religion. Go beyond religion means, go beyond concept of god.  Thus, going beyond Veda, religion and conceptual god means going beyond illusion.   That is end of Vedas [ Veda –antha].

When one goes into the annals of the history it looks like the true Advith expounded by Sri Sankara and his param guru, Goudpada was lost or mutilated by the orthodox, because the preaching and practice does not match.

 It is necessary for the seeker to do his homework, and verify the validity of all the claims, rather than blindly believe, what others expound as knowledge, till, the un-contradicted truth is obtained.

The seeker must have the courage of Buddha to accept the truth and reject the untruth. Since Buddha rejected religion, idea of god and scriptures, therefore, it is evident that, he has gone through every aspect and verified and found them to be inadequate and useless for the pursuit of truth.

Even Buddhism is mixed up with regional culture and traditions of the local religion, wherever it existed. Thus to get the full essence from Buddhism is very difficult.

The scriptures are for ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Wisdom is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

Each sect concocts a God to suit its own purposes.  Such concocted Gods have no value in pursuit of truth.  Man himself suggests that there must be a God. It is an auto-suggestion.

Prayers and sacrifices belong to a premature stage of development. However when no answers come to prayers, struggle for existence presses man, and doubt arises again.  Faith in religion weakens as man pays more attention to facts of life and this world.

Isa Upanishads indicates that: By worshipping gods and goddesses and going to the world of gods after death is of no use. The time one spends in ritualistic practices is wasted; one can spend same time moving forward towards Self-knowledge, which is the main goal. One cannot reach the nondual destination by glorifying god and goddesses and by doing that, one goes deeper and deeper into darkness. It surely indicates the fact that, the seeker of truth has to drop the worshiping god and goddess in order to get self-knowledge.

Karma Kand of the Vedas deal with the injunctions relating to the performance of duties and actions. These are for ordinary householders.

The path of religion, path of yoga and the path of wisdom were intended for different classes of people. The wisdom is for the advanced seekers of truth. It deals with the nature of the ultimate Truth and Reality. It is meant for superior aspirants who have inner urge to know the truth and it is not for those who are immersed in earthly desires.

Nonduality does not need the support of any Scripture or Revelation like the Veda. For it is based, not upon the varying theological fancies, which are as numerous as the sands of the sea, but upon reason, the common heritage of all mankind, irrespective of colour or creed or clime.

Reason is the common ground for whole humanity in modern age, whereas the appeal to scriptural relations reaches only the sects.  Those who argue that truth is only in their religion are vain logicians, depending on mere ideas, speculations and imaginations.

Sage Sri, Sankara founded his Advaita Vedanta either on reason independent of sruti or on sruti confirmed by reason." Sri, Sankara's commentary on the Mandukya Upanishad, II, 1: This [the unreality of duality] is borne out by the Srutis ... But it is possible also to show the unreality of the object world even from pure reasoning, and this second chapter is undertaken for that purpose.

Sri, Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Sruti, or revealed scripture. This may be because Sri, Sankara addressed the ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus in the idea of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. He believed that those of superior intelligence, have no need of this idea of divine causality, and can therefore dispense with Sruti and arrive at the truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.

Sri, Sankara says in Brahma Sutras: that Brahman is the cause of the world, whereas in Mandukya he denies it. This is because he says that at the lower stage of understanding, the former teaching must be given, for people will get frightened as they cannot understand how the world can be without a cause, but to those in a higher stage, the truth of non-causality can be revealed.

Truth is bitter pill. It becomes very difficult for the seeker to accept it at first; because of his inherited conditioning. Gradually he will be able to grasp it as he moves on.

The illusion is present only in ignorance where, 'I' and you are separate entity. In truth, there is neither 'I' nor you, nor, the illusion. Therefore there is no teaching, no teacher, and no student in reality.

Truth pursuit is a very personal journey. Seeker has to verify minutely on his own, “what is truth”, and “what is not truth”, before accepting anything as truth. The illusion exists as reality, only on base of the ego, which is he false self within the false experience.

For Gnani, who is aware of the fact that the self is not physical but self is consciousness, there is no illusion, even though; he is in the midst of illusion, because he is fully aware of the fact that, all the three states are consciousness.  Therefore he is conscious of consciousness in the midst of illusion. 

The language of the duality, invented by the within the duality, for use in the dualistic world, when used to describe non-duality, produces these apparent contradictions, because there no apparatus in non-duality, because noting exist other than the soul, which is in the form of consciousness.

Non duality is the state of oneness of existence and there is no scope for anything like non-existence in the realm of nondual truth. 

The path to spiritual liberation par excellence, wide and Deep Ocean of consciousness, which contains virtually the whole universe (mind])and in which the whole universe ultimately dissolve.

Man and his experience of the world is product of ignorance. Ignorance is cause of experiencing the duality as reality.  The duality is mere illusion from ultimate standpoint.  All the thoughts, words,   feelings, attachment including the man and his experience of the world are part of the illusion. The illusion (universe) is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness (soul or Atman), the innermost self. On the standpoint of the soul, the innermost self no second thing exists other than consciousness. 

The soul is the formless substance and witness of the three states. If the formless witness witnesses the waking experience and its attention is fixed to the waking experience than the waking experience is experienced as reality. If the formless witness witnesses the dream and its attention is fixed to the dream than   the dream is experienced as reality. If the attention of the soul is on itself than it is called deep sleep in waking experience, which is the states of ignorance. If the soul consciously remains in its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of waking experience through wisdom it is called self-awareness. 

The three states are an object to the formless soul, is the subject.  The three states are state of ignorance. In all the three states the soul, the innermost self is in ignorance of its own formless non-dual true nature.   This forgetfulness is cause of the ignorance. Ignorance is cause of experiencing the three states as reality. The three states are cause of experiencing the individuality as reality.  Individuality is cause of experiencing the birth, life, death and the world as reality.  The three states are one in essence. In the realm of truth the three states are non-existent.  In self-awareness, the three states are non-existent because they are one in essence.  

Sage Sri Sankara –VC--"All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought

It is this Supreme Oneness which alone is real, since there is nothing else but the Self. Verily, there remains no other independent entity in the state of realization of the highest Truth." 

Mind appears in the form of universe. Mind is identical with the consciousness, because mind is created out of consciousness.  The consciousness appears as mind or universe and disappears back as consciousness.  Thus the mind is mere mirage. Thus whatever the universe contains, is mere mirage created out of consciousness. Thus the birth, life and death, which takes place in the universe is also mirage. 

 All individual experiences, beliefs, gods and religion are part and parcel of the mirage. The consciousness, which is the invisible substance witness of the mind, which is in the form of universe, is  real and eternal. Thus everything in the universe is created out of single stuff, which is consciousness. Thus, the universe of diversity is myth on the standpoint of the consciousness, which is the true self.  

Non-dualistic  wisdom is seen as food for all humanity. Non-dualistic  truth is the universal truth   par excellence; it is not a religious truth which is limited to particular religion. The religion is mere a way of living according to its code of conducts.

The ultimate truth is to know and realize the fact about one’s true existence.  The religion is based on the false self. Without the false self-there is no existence of religion.  Thus religion holds false self as real self and false experience of the world as real experience. Deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning revels the fact that, the self is not physical but the self is formless consciousness.   

 If the self is formless, then all the form based experiences becomes falsehood.   The knower of these physical based experiences, appear as waking or dream is formless, real and eternal.   On standpoint of this formless knower, which is in the form of consciousness the three states are mere mirage created out of itself. Therefore, the experience of diversity is mere mirage, thus stuff from which the three states are made, that stuff is real.

There is no point in arguing with the religionists and yogis, because, the base of argument is on different pole, it will yield no fruits.

People think that, more they think, the more they will get; but it is really an error. It remains only a thought and gives them back only thoughts.  Anything seen, observed, cannot be the Self or the Witness. 

Consciousness (soul) is the substance and witness of the duality.  The duality is present in the form of mind. Mind is present in the form of universe. The universe appears as waking or dream and diapers as deep sleep. The one which is aware of the coming and going of the three states is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the formless soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  When the soul becomes aware of its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of duality it is called self –awareness. It is foolish to limit the consciousness only to duality because the consciousness pervades all the three states 

Consciousness is shoreless Non-dual Ocean. Consciousness is beyond form, time and space. Consciousness is beyond instinct, intellect, imagination and inspiration. It is unconscious of its true nature when it is in illusion. Only beyond illusion it is in its true nature.

Consciousness  is cause of the illusory creation, which it creates, preserves and destroys. As the cause it does not know it is the shoreless ocean of truth.  Consequently, consciousness is beyond form, time and space and the illusion is the effect of the cause, which is consciousness but it itself is uncaused.  And on the standpoint of the uncaused nothing ever existed, noting exists nothing will exist.

In the state of illusion of birth, life, death and the world, the consciousness is unconscious of its formless non-dual true nature and it fully immersed with illusory physical identity perceiving the illusory world. It is only conscious of limited existence of an individual. Only when the individual inquires to find out truth about his own existence he becomes aware of the fact that, the physical existence (man + world) is mere mirage created out of consciousness.  The form, time and space are mere mirage created out of consciousness.   

         

One has to be true renunciant within  the practical world  though an active householder in the world outside.  Non-duality is not even a philosophical dish cooked to suit exclusively the palate of the particular religion.  It is spiritual food for the whole humankind.  The truth does not depend on individual opinion. The guidance and help is required only to those, who have the intense urge to know the self, which is formless eternal identity (soul). On the base of the true self (soul), the bliss and ego are mere illusion.

Expanding horizons is possible only in the illusion, which every one of us experiencing it as reality. Since everyone thinks, their accepted truth as reality, because their worldview is based on the false self (waking entity or ego), and they view and judge on the base of false self.

There is no point in arguing with the religionists and yogis, because, the base of argument is on different pole, it will yield no fruits.

Consciousness in turn invisible form of the universe

The ultimate truth is one without the second, the one is not in the sense half or two, but the one that remain forever One, without the second.  The consciousness is all pervading. There is no place where consciousness is not.

The Consciousness is in everyone, consciousness is in everything .consciousness is one behind many. Consciousness alone is. It means the universe is the visible form of consciousness. Formless and colourless   consciousness’s creative and impulsive imagination to know itself as omnipresent, infinite and eternal. And consciousness in turn invisible form of the universe.   

Since people all are not aware of the fact that, they are an experience within another experience (waking or dream). The mind is an experience, which contains everyone and everything and the universe. Since one limits the mind to the physical entity, he forgets the fact that, his body and the universe is an experience, within waking or dream experience. It is impossible to unfold the mystery of his true existence without realizing the fact that, the self is not physical but the self is consciousness.   If the self is not physical then it is erroneous to judge and conclude the truth on the base of the physical self or ego. Thus the truth has to be judges on the base of the true self, which is consciousness. 

 Until and unless one rectifies the reasoning base from form to formless the truth will not be revealed.

The mind is an experience not an experiencer. Whatever is with in the mind, that is, the person and his world, bound to be an experience. The formless knower of the mind which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep has to be traced. If there is no mind, then there is no waking or dream experience. Therefore it is evident that, the witness of the mind can remain with or without, the three states. For illustration, in deep sleep, there is no mind, thus there is no waking or dream. In waking it knows about the dream and deep sleep experience.  Thus one which knows the coming and going of the three states is always alert.

If  the “self ” is not body, then how can the body take the authorship of the formless  entity, which functions itself as the body and perceives the world, as a person within the waking or dream?

 Thus if one take authorship as body as self, it will be a false claim. The individual experiences within the world are within the waking or dream. The soul, which is in the form of consciousness, is the witness of the mind(universe) , which appears as waking or dream. Thus the mind is mere mirage created out of the consciousness.  On the standpoint of the consciousness, the three states are mere mirage. The substance and witness of the mirage is real and eternal.

Thus the onus is on person who dispute, has to prove that the burden of the three states is on the individual physical entity.



The question based on the physical entity is of no use. Therefore, one has to make sure of the fact that, whether 'Self ', is the physical body or 'Self , is something other than the physical body.

Otherwise find what is it that functions as a  body and perceives the world, as a person, without that invisible entity the body cannot function and perceive the world.

If one traces the formless witness, then he will know the individual experience is not of his, but of the formless witness (soul). Therefore he himself can decide who has to take the authorship of individual experience within the waking  or dream. If one makes little mental effort through  deeper self-search , he will able to move towards the effortless state, which is  the natural state of the soul.

One has to question himself: what is it that functioning as  the body and perceives the world as a  person. If  the person is not the experience of a person, then what is it that experiences itself as  a person? These seeds of doubts will help one to peel the illusion and, there will be no illusion left, only non-dual reality will prevail as ultimate truth, which is the soul, the innermost self. Thus, it for the seeker to discover and realize it.  No one else can realize it for him.

Mind ceases to exist without the matter.

We are discussing about the formless truth in the realm of untruth (duality])  If we rectify  the reasoning base  from, form to formless, then the words and concepts will become meaningless. To travel from ignorance to wisdom one has to use the words and concepts and as his understanding matures he has to drop them. 

Everyone is not in same level of understanding, some are in elementary level and some are in advanced stages. In elementary stages we have to use more words and concepts to make them understand and also to overcome the inherited conditioning, for advanced seekers are sharp enough to understand assimilate the truth with lesser words.  

    

Spiritual pursuit is a very personal journey. Seeker of truth has to bifurcate everything which is based on the ego, (false self), such as religion, god, paths and theories and philosophy.

Seeker of truth should not indulge in condemning religion and yoga or its gurus or gods and its code of conducts. But he has to highlight its fallacy for his own information, which helps him to proceed deeper in investigation.

Seeker of truth has to mingle and discuss with like-minded people but never indulge in arguments about religious doctrines and teachers and teachings and philosophies.

Religion and god and guru glorification and scriptural studies or yoga are not needed in pursuit of truth. Only one must have the intense urge to know the truth and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth, when un-contradictable truth is revealed through inquiry analysis and reasoning. 

A receptive mind free from religious and yogic or any sort of knowledge based on the ego is very much necessary to acquire the non-dual wisdom.

All the accumulated knowledge from religion and yoga and paths and theories are mere dross in pursuit of truth. Religion and yoga are helpful for the mass and the society but they are barricade in unfolding the mystery of the mind.

Even in the Buddhism: - Buddhist teaching has itself become a kind of interactive and self-evolving process, much like its idea of pratityasamutpada. However, the end goal is still Nirvana, which is an experience ultimately beyond all concepts and language, even beyond the Buddhist teachings. In the end even the attachment to the Dharma, the Buddhist teaching, must be dropped like all other attachments. The tradition compares the teaching to a raft upon which one crosses a swift river to get to the other side; once one is on the far shore; there is no longer any need to carry the raft. The far shore is Nirvana, and it is also said that when one arrives, one can see quite clearly that there was never any river at all.

 The scriptures and theories and teaching based on the ego are not the yardstick. Using them as yardstick to understand and assimilate the truth will lead one towards pursuit of arguments. Seeker of truth has to discover on his own, the truth of his true existence by inquiring “what is mind?” and “what is substance of the mind?” and move forward.   

The wisdom consists in knowing the truth, that everything [mind or physical existence] is consciousness. Freedom (truth) is always there yet one does not know it.  But to those whose reason is turned away from physicality and who have attained the serenity of the soul/self (consciousness) are quite near to the ultimate truth. 

To think one's  own body and his experience of the world is an illusion is difficult matter, unless one realizes the self is not physical but it is formless soul, it is difficult to have glimpse of the non-dual  truth. 

When one realizes the fact that, the self is not physical but the formless soul, naturally the body and universe becomes illusion.

The mind (universe) is emanating from soul (consciousness) means the mind is being effect from consciousness is not different from it. Deeper analysis shows it. Analysis needs deeper thinking and reasoning. Mind is whole universe thus it has a form. But where is the form in consciousness (soul) because consciousness is like an ocean and mind is like wave.  The universe is same consciousness, as the ocean produces the wave, so the consciousness produces the mind (universe).

The moment one knows the mind (universe) is consciousness, and then there is no ignorance. If one knows consciousness as self then everything is consciousness, the consciousness is second to none.  The mind is consciousness but due to ignorance one mistakes it for something else. One thinks the self is within the body; but the self is without the body and the world. 

Mind ceases to exist without the matter. Without the matter mind ceases to exist as mind but it exists as matter- less awareness or consciousness. Without the mind neither the world nor its perceiver can exist.

Without the matter there is no duality. Without duality there is no experience. Without experience it is non-dual reality. Therefore, whatever prevails without the mind is ultimate reality.

The true nature of the soul (consciousness) is camouflaged by the illusion/duality/universe.  To know the truth one has to discover and realize the formless substance of the mind or illusion. One has to learn to view and judge the worldview on the standpoint the formless soul as self.   Self-Knowledge  or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is the prime goal of the truth seeker. This goal is hidden within the mind as its invisible substance and witness. Therefore, it is necessary inquiry, analyze and reason in to the nature of mind/ duality/illusion/universe in order to unfold the mystery of mind or duality or illusion.
