On the standpoint of the soul, the three states are non-existent.  On the standpoint of the physical self the three states appears to exist as reality.

It is erroneous to view and judge the truth on the standpoint of creator or god without verifying the fact that, the  ‘Self’ is not physical but self is the soul.  It is impossible to assimilate truth on the physical base. 

 People are having the strong conviction of their birth, life and death and they are ignorant about the fact that, the birth, life and death are the experience within the Waking experience. All the individual experiences happenings within the waking experience are only illusion because the Waking experience itself is illusion.  Therefore, there is need to trace the formless substance and witness of the illusion to grasp and realize the non-dual truth.

There is no second thing other then soul because all the three states are created, witnessed and subsides as Soul /Spirit. Constant reflecting on the witness if the three states the Seeking Mind will be able to assimilate and grasp the knowledge of the true self.

Whatever position, power, pleasure and wealth one may possess within the Waking experience is only an illusion. Same way whatever pain and suffering and misery one has in waking experience also illusion. 

When the waking or dream subsides as deep sleep, then the duality vanishes. Therefore, the formless substance of the waking experience and deep sleeps is one in essence.  By discovering and realizing that formless substance and witness –the duality will not remain as reality.

When the formless substance and witness, is discovered and realizes the experience of duality the sense of duality will vanish. Absent of duality absent of experience.  Absent of experience absent of illusion. The illusion is present when the there is experience. When there is experience then there is   ignorance. When there is ignorance then there is duality. When there is duality then the birth, life and death becomes reality. 

All the individual experiences are possible only within the waking experience. One has to become aware of the fact that, the three states are not the experience of the physical self but of the soul, which is the formless substance and witness of the three states. When this conviction becomes firm then he will be able to rectify his reasoning base from form to formless. When one establishes on the formless base then gradually the sense of reality of   experience of duality starts receding. The person and world co- exist within the waking or dream experience. Absent of mind is state it is soul because without the soul/spirit the mind is non-existent. The mind, which rises and subsides as waking and dream, cannot be real. It is totally illusory. 

Therefore, the formless source where the mind rises and subsides itself is the self. When the source is formless then the diversity, which rises and subsides is also created out of formless stuff. Therefore, realizing the fact that the birth, life and death which take place within the mind are mere illusion created out of single stuff. The stuff is the soul/spirit.  Realizing the fact that, formless soul/spirit is the true self and all else other then the soul/spirit is truth realization.   

Religion is not based on the spirit/soul, but it is based on the physical self. Therefore, religion is based on the birth, life and death not the truth.    Spirituality is pursuit of truth of the beyond the physical existence.   In pursuit of truth the religion and its conceptual gods and scriptures are not necessary because all of them are based on the physical self.  All the physical based philosophies and theories, paths and yogic practices or logical and intellectual conclusion will help to unfold the truth.

There is no such thing as cause and effect on the base of the soul as self.

There is no such thing as cause and effect on the base of the soul[consciousness] as self. The cause and effect is true only in the waking experience where everything is viewed and judged on the physical point of view.

The religion is mere word spinning and verbal acrobatics with examples of noble and moral conducts becomes great hindrance in truth seeking.

The religionists believe the world of duality as reality. The religion holds their belief as truth but belief is not the basis of the truth. Ultimate truth is based on the reason not the belief.

 The ultimate truth is consciousness. The true god is ultimate truth. Religion, gods, scriptures and dogmas are true only in the illusory reality. When the physical body is not the experiencer of the physical body itself, it is dependent on the consciousness for its existence   then the reasoning base has to be rectified from form to formless to understand ,assimilate and realize  the non-dual truth.

All the religious belief are reality until it is not verified through inquiry and reasoning. Once one verifies them and realizes the fact that, all beliefs are imagined on the physical base.  Hence, it is very much necessary to rectify the reasoning  base to overcome the inherited conditioning.

1        The first step is to rectifying the reasoning base mentally from form to formless.

2       Then analyzing the three states on the base of the formless self/soul/consciousness.

3        Analyzing and discriminating between three states and the formless soul, which is the substance and witness.

Seeker has to learn to view and judge the three states on the base of the soul as self. Seeker has to mentally  reject all the religious, yogic, and intellectual theories as they are based on the physical self. This is possible when the he rectifies its reasoning base.

Soul neither rises nor subsides. Soul is formless and non-dual in its nature and it is substance of the mind. Mind rises and subsides is illusion. The substance and witness of the illusion is the soul.

Just as the witness of the dream does not go, anywhere only the dream appears and disappear the waking experience also appears and disappears. It is appears to the formless substance which is the soul and disappears as soul. Therefore, the substance and witness of the mind is soul. Thus the mind and soul are one in essence.

Soul is in the form of sprit or consciousness and it pervades in all the three state. All the three states are illusory on the standpoint of their formless substance. If the soul is in its formless and non-dual true nature then there is no mind and no duality.  All the confusions and doubts arise when the three states are viewed on base of physical self. If soul/spirit is not the witness of the three states one would not had the idea of deep sleep and dream in the Waking experience.

When one has the firm conviction that the formless soul is the substance and witness of the three states he renounces them three states mentally by realizing their unreal nature but does not abandon it. And he views them on the standpoint of the soul as self, which clears the fetter created due to viewing on the physical self.  Therefore the realization of the truth is right here in this waking experience and right now that is not in next life.

Deeper self search  reveals :-

 The mind appears as Waking or dream. Limiting the mind to physical entity is cause of duality. The duality causes ignorance. Ignorance causes the illusion. Illusion is the cause for experiencing the duality as reality.

The man and the world is mere experience. They cease to exist without the soul/spirit, which is the true self.  But the soul/spirit can exist with or without the duality. The mind is only an experience. This proves that the man and the world are mere experience. If there is no mind then there is no experience. Until one thinks mind is self he is bound to believe the birth, life and death as reality.

Once the birth, life and death are accepted as reality the physical existence becomes his base of reasoning.  Trying to know and assimilate the truth on the physical base is impossibility. Seeker of truth has to rectify the reasoning base from form to formless to unfold the mystery of the mind.  Only when one learns to view and judge the three states on the standpoint of soul/spirit the truth will starts unfolding on its own. 

The Witness is apart from the three states. The mind which appears and disappears is only a myth. The witness is in its   formless non-dual true nature in deep sleep. The deep sleep cannot be taken as soul/self, because it has been identified as deep sleep on the base of the physical body.

On the standpoint of soul the three states are unreal. On the standpoint of the physical self, the three states are reality. Therefore, there is no use of seeking truth on the base of physical self. Since the physical self, world concept of god and religion are present only in illusion.

On the standpoint of Soul/Spirit, the three states are non-existent.

The Inquiry and Reasoning reveals:-

The witness is the true Self, which is Soul,which is in the form of consciousness. Without the Soul or consciousness the three states cease to exist. Therefore, Soul or consciousness  itself is the formless substance and witness of the three states.

On the standpoint of Soul/Spirit, the three states are non-existent. Since Soul is formless and non-dual in its nature. In waking and dream the self becomes ignorant of its own non-dual nature and it experiences the duality as reality.

The fact that ‘Self’ is not the physical and analyzing the three states on the base of physical self creates the ignorance and leads the seeker towards imagination or intellectuality. Intellectuality is mere speculation derived on the base of physical self.
