There is no use of arguing with those who are stuck up with their own idea of truth.

It  is no use of arguing with those who are stuck up with their own idea of truth. Argument will not yield any fruits. Egocentric arrogance is a  hindrance in pursuit of truth. Seeker must have humility and patience. He has to  verify through deeper self-search  and than only  accept only  un-contradictable truth reject if it is contractible truth, without being judgmental .  one should never indulge in pursuit of argument  because pursuit of truth is pursuit of verification. Passing perverted  opinion based  on logic  is the attitude of the some  intellectuals who think the false self as real self and  practical life within the practical world as reality.  They are pleasure hunters not truth seekers.  

     

There is no need to criticize  the religion, concept of god and scriptures  and  the religious gurus,  but one has to know how they block one's realization.  There is need to drop the ignorance.  Once the ignorance is dropped one becomes aware of judging what truth is, and what is untruth. 

There is no sense of or purpose in doer ship.  The individual experiences are happening on its own accord, within the false experience.  Things do not happen because anyone is doing it.  Since the body, ego and the world are mere an experience within the waking experience. The waking or dreams are like movie. The projector light is needed to project the movie. Similarly Atman or consciousness is needed for projecting the three states. The waking is the first show and dream is second show and deep sleep is the interval.   Without the projector light the projection of the movie is impossible. Similarly without consciousness the three states cease to exist.  Thus the three states are not important but the consciousness is most important.

In Panchadashi:-  Atman The is the witness-consciousness that experiences the action, the actor, and the world of separate things. It is like a light that illuminates everything in a theater, revealing the master of ceremonies, the guests, and the dancers with complete impartiality. Even when they all depart, the light shines to reveal their absence.

Man is doer within the duality thus man is author of his doing within the waking or dream .but self is not the doer but self is the formless witness of the waking or dream. Thus the doer, doing and the doer ship belongs to duality, which is mere illusion form ultimate standpoint. 

Body is not the self; the soul, which is in the form of consciousness, is the true self.  Thus, man cannot take the authorship the three states, which is mere illusion because the man and his experience of the world are within the waking experience.    Thus, it is necessary to acquire the self-knowledge in order to unfold the truth.  

Man has the great attachment to his individuality, but he is fully ignorant of the fact that, he and his experience of the world are reality with in the false experience. Once he becomes aware of the fact that the three states are unreal on the base of the soul/self, he becomes aware of the fact that, the individuality is part of the illusion.  

Only when the seeking mind realizes the fact that, the soul is the true self, it becomes aware of the fact that, whatever it has seen, known, believed, experienced is mere mirage.  Thus, birth life and death, and pain and pleasure are part of the mirage.  Therefore basing the truth on the physical entity is erroneous.  There is neither creation nor creator on the standpoint of the soul as self. Therefore, the cause and effect has no meaning on base of the soul as self.

Self-Knowledge or Knowledge of Brahman puts an end to the ignorance, which is the cause of the experiencing the duality as reality.

Deeper self- search reveals the fact that,  the judgment based on the ego or waking entity will not reveal the truth.  Because the waking entity is not the self. Only the judgment based on the Atman or consciousness as self, reveals the ultimate truth or Brahman.  One has to mentally trace the existence of the formless substance and witness of the three states in order to realize the fact that the formless substance and witness of the three states are one in essence.   That essence is consciousness it is the source of the illusion, which appears as waking or dream.

When the consciousness remains without the illusion it is non-dual reality. The non-dual reality is like deep sleep but deep sleep is not real because there is no self-awareness in deep sleep.    The self-awareness rises in the midst of duality [waking experience] when wisdom dawns.  Thus Advaitic awareness brings unity in diversity.   

 Formless witness of the three states is the ultimate key to unfold the truth locked in the three states.    On the standpoint of the soul / self, there can be no religious discord. The soul/self has no religion.  The truth is universal. Therefore, the self-knowledge is for everyone. Truth is not what they think but it is with what they are able to think.  

Since people are not prepared to verify the facts about their own belief, system they are unable to understand and assimilate the self-knowledge. Until one has urge to know the truth and prepares the ground properly and consistent in his efforts to know the truth, he will not be receptive to receive self-knowledge. 

The intellectual children who are stuck up with their accumulated knowledge based on waking entity or ego, think what they know is truth with second-hand knowledge based on what they have read and heard  is ultimate truth   are in pursuit of arrogance . They are trying to become a guru or master or teacher by introducing their own lecture and teaching without verifying the facts ultimate truth cannot be got from any teaching or theories but only through deeper self-search by seeker alone.  Intellectual children are not the seekers of wisdom or Gnana.  The intellectual children are playing with the feeling of seekers with their ornamental words and make the seeker they are nearer to the truth but the truth is not truth in itself.  

Logic is intellectual conclusion.  Intellectual conclusions are practical truth and they are truth in practical world,   but practical world itself mere illusion from ultimate standpoint.  That is why Sri, Sankara says; the world is unreal the Brahman alone is real and everything is Brahman.  

Thus seeker has to realize:-

v  On what basis the world is unreal?

v  What is Brahman? 

v  How everything is Brahman?

:  in order  transcend to self-awareness from false physical awareness. 

It is impossible to acquire Self-knowledge with religious belief, god, guru glorification, and scriptural studies. Religion, god and guru glorification and scriptural studies are barricades in unfolding the truth.  Religion, god, guru and scriptures are based on the physical entity/ego.  Thus, it cannot transport the seeking mind to reality, which is beyond duality.  

Seeker has to confirm the fact that, the self is not the physical body, and self is not the mind, which is in the form of universe.  The mind is the whole universe, which appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep.  This basic knowledge is very essential in pursuit of truth.

 Inquiry, analysis and reasoning is the tool for the attention of the seeking mind back to its primal state, which helps it to realize the fact that all the three states are mere mirage created out of the soul, which is in the form of the consciousness.  

Self-Knowledge puts an end to the ignorance, which is the cause of the experiencing the duality as reality. Experiencing duality/waking, as reality is the cause of the misery.  Therefore, it is necessary for the seeking mind to trace the invisible witness of the three states to overcome the ignorance.  Only when the seeking mind overcomes the ignorance, realizes the fact that, ‘I’ is not the self but the soul is the true self, and learns to view and judge the three states on the base of the soul as self, the truth will start unfolding.   

Seeking mind has to realize through deeper inquiry, analysis and reasoning the fact that,  the sense of  ‘I’ is the mind. Mind is the whole universe, which appears and disappears as waking or dream.   When seeking mind gets a firm conviction the self is the soul, which is in the form of consciousness it becomes aware of the fact that, viewing and judging the three states on the physical entity or ego is erroneous.  The judgment based on the physical entity /ego is false judgment, because the physical entity or ego is the false self within the false experience.  

The ultimate truth has to be based on the source of the three states.

Does God exists or not is the question that succeeds not only dividing people, but creates a tug of war within every individual thinker. Ironically, if one believes in the concept of god then noting else matters and if one is an atheist, too noting else matters.  Those who have implicit faith in god bow their head in submission to what they call divine will. They believe the world is testing ground and sorrows must be borne with patience in order to prove their love to god. On the other hand, the Atheist claim the whole world is random creation arising, so to speak from chemical gravy that is accidental.  Both these arguments based on the false self within the false experience. 

On the base of the soul as self, the waking experience itself is mere mirage.  The man and his experience of the world are reality with in the waking experience.  The waking experience is mere dream witnessed by the soul. Thus, all the physical based theories are mere imagination based on the false self within the false experience; the experience of practical life within the practical world is mere illusion from the ultimate standpoint. When the self is not the form but formless, how can one accept the experience based on the form as reality.   Thus the waking is as unreal as dream.  Thus whatever seen, known, believed and experiences as waking entity, within the waking experience become mere illusion when the waking entity realizes it is not the self  but    The formless substance and witness of the three states which is the soul  or consciousness   is real and eternal. 

Innumerable people all over the world have been killed and being killed in the name of religion and god. This is because people are not aware of the ultimate truth of their true existence. People take their inherited belief as ultimate truth without verifying the validity of their belief. 

 

 Without realizing the fact that, man and his world is reality with in the waking experience, same way as the dream entity and dream world are reality within the dream.   The three states are not the experience of the physical body but of the soul or true self.  The soul is the true self and it is the substratum and witness of the three states.  Thus, it is erroneous to view and judge the ultimate truth on the base of the ego or waking entity, which appears and disappears, same way as the dream.  The source of the waking or dream is the soul or consciousness, which is the true self. Therefore, the source itself is the self.  Thus, the truth has to be based on the source of the three states.  There is no man, no world; no god exists as reality on the standpoint of the soul or consciousness as self, because the waking experience is mere mirage created out of the soul, which is in the form of consciousness.

Some find the Path of Gnana is difficult because they have not acquired necessary competence for it.

Without rectifying the reasoning  base from ego (form) base to soul (formless base) base, it is not possible to acquire self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana  or  Atma Gnana.  Therefore, it is necessary to mentally  rectify  reasoning by realizing the fact that self is not the form(ego) but self is formless(soul or consciousness).  one has to make sure the existence of the formless witness of the three states  by analyzing the three states. the formless witness ,which is soul or consciousness is within the three states but it is apart from the three states.  it is within the three states as their formless substance and it is apart from the three states as their formless witness.

By reflecting constantly on the formless witness of the three states, seeker becomes aware of the fact that the three states are unreal and the formless substance, and the witness of the three states, which is the soul or consciousness, is real. 

the soul or consciousness can remain with or without the waking or dream(duality). when it is without the waking and dream, the witness will remain in its formless non-dual true nature, which is identified as deep sleep on the physical base or ego.  Thus, the ego is the cause of the ignorance. In reality the the formless witness and the three states are one in essence. therefore in reality no second thing exists other than consciousness.  thus consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman. 

 Until one views, judges and concludes the three states  on the base of ego he will not be able to assimilate the Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  

The Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is –Self-Release. Due to ignorance caused by the ego, one imagines self is bound, and makes various and strenuous attempt to become free, whereas the soul or consciousness , the innermost self is ever free. 

The non-dual true nature of the soul, the innermost  self can be regained only through Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  The self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana can be gained, only when one realizes the fact that, the three states, which appear and disappear, are unreal and the formless substance and witness of the three states, which is the soul or consciousness, is real and eternal.  Whatever is real and eternal is ultimate truth or Brahman.

The basic purpose of pursuit of truth is to discover the true self. Seeker has to realize fact that the source of the physical existence, which is in the form of mind or universe, which appears waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep . And   finding the facts about the mind or universe is the goal.  

Deeper self -search reveals the fact that,'I' is mind . And mind is present in the form of universe.   Universe appears as waking or dream(duality)   and disappears as deep sleep(non-duality).  The witness of the three states is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the formless soul or consciousness.

Till one becomes aware of the existence of the formless witness of the three states, it is very  difficult to accept the three states are mere illusion.

  The formless witness of the three states  is the soul, the innermost  self . The inner most self is in the form of consciousness.  Therefore consciousness is the true self. The consciousness also is the formless substance and witness  of the three states. The formless substance and witness are one in essence. Therefore no second thing exist other than consciousness. Thus consciousness alone is real the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness.  Thus consciousness is real and eternal. Therefore whatever is real and eternal is ultimate truth or Brahman. 

Since man identifies himself as ‘I’ and ‘I’ as self and  views, and judges the three states on the base of the physical entity or ego, which is limited to the waking experience alone, he becomes ignorant of the soul, the innermost  self. 

As seeker inquires, analyzes and reasons deeply on the base of the soul as self then he becomes aware of the fact that, the three states are mere illusion created, sustained and finally dissolves as soul or consciousness. Limiting the ‘consciousness ’ to the waking entity alone causes the ignorance. When one limits the soul  or consciousness  to the physical entity, it is called ego.  

The ego is present only in waking or dream.   The waking and dream appears and disappears as a whole.   Thus, the waking and dream are impermanent. The ego is the false self within the false experience9waking or dream) .  Therefore, seeking truth of the existence on the standpoint of the false self (waking entity or ego) will not help the seeker to discover the truth because the truth is  is beyond the form,time and space. 

When the reasoning base is rectified from form to formless base than  the truth will start unfolding itself.   

The waking experience, which is in the form universe, is common to all. Man and his individual   experiences of the universe are present only when there is waking experience. Man is aware of the dream and deep sleep only in waking experience.  Man is unaware of the waking or dream in deep sleep. The sense of ‘I’ is present only in duality.   The sense of duality is present only in waking or dream. In deep sleep, it is non-duality the sense of ‘I’ or duality is non-existent.  

The waking is parallel dream and dream is parallel waking experience.  The practical life within the practical world within the waking is as real as dream. In addition, the practical life within the practical world within the dream is as real as waking.  The knower of the three states, which appear and disappear in succession, is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but it is the soul, which is in the form of consciousness.  Therefore, the witness of the three states is not the ego but the soul, which is within the three states but it is apart from the three states.  The soul, which is in the form of consciousness, is within the three states as its formless substance and it is apart from the three states as its formless witness. 

  The seeker aware of the true position of the true self will realize the fact that, the waking or dream is illusory projection of the soul. Therefore, it is necessary to reflect on the nature of the soul or true self, to abide in it, which is the source of the three states.   The realization of the true self or soul is release from experiencing the  illusory duality as reality.
