It is foolish to limit the consciousness only to duality because the consciousness pervades all the three states

Until there is longing for liberation from this worldly suffering arises man is not interested other than his desire to enjoy the practical life within the practical world.

The urge arises when one meets disappointment in his practical life with all his virtue oriented life, orthodox life style, service to society and to his religion and humility pious, nonviolence, truthfulness did not bring him anything good but brought only suffering. The desire to get permanent peace    he finally gets tired of chasing the rainbow that never comes or having yet  all his  desires shattered, or perhaps it comes during illness.

Some are lucky they have the inborn urge to know the ultimate truth even in the midst of pleasure and pain.  They know that life is more than pointless suffering, more than a succession of changes that have no purpose.” The longing for liberation is likened to how much a one wants air when ice bag  is head on his head.

Only one in a million people has the desire to know the ultimate truth, which is our innermost self. When one has the inner urge to know the ultimate truth or Brahman, and then this intense urge makes one take the pursuit of truth.

Path of truth is a personal  journey. One cannot learn Ultimate truth from a books or scriptures. It requires receptiveness and sharpness to grasp.

Gnanis who attained peace and greatness and they bring good to mankind, like the coming of spring. They themselves have crossed samsara being in samsara. Without any selfish motive, they help others to cross the samsara.

People think that, more they think, the more they will get; but it is really an error. It remains only a thought and gives them back only thoughts.  Anything seen, observed, cannot be the Self or the Witness.

Consciousness (soul) is the substance and the witness of the duality.  The duality is present in the form of mind. The Mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream and diapers as deep sleep. The one which is aware of the coming and going of the three states is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the formless soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.  When the soul becomes aware of its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of duality it is called self –awareness. It is foolish to limit the consciousness only to duality (waking or dream)  because the consciousness pervades all the three states

Consciousness is the shoreless Non-dual Ocean. Consciousness is beyond form, time and space. Consciousness is beyond instinct, intellect, imagination and inspiration. It is unconscious of its true nature when it is in illusion. Only beyond illusion it is in its true nature.

Non-duality is taught by some; some others teach duality. They don't understand that the all-pervading Reality is beyond both duality and non-duality.

There is no colour or sound to the one Reality; It has no qualities at all. How can one even think or speak of that which is far beyond both mind and speech?

When you know all this universe of forms to be as vacant as the sky, Then you'll know Brahman; Duality will forevermore cease to be.

To some, the Self appears as other; to me, the Self is the soul. Like undivided space, soul one alone exists. How, then, could the subject and object of meditation be two?

Nothing of what I do or eat, or give or take, Exists for soul the innermost self; self is purity itself, beyond birth and death.

Know that the whole of the universe is without any form. Know that the whole of the universe is forever unchanging. Know that the whole of the universe is unstained by its contents. Know that the whole of the universe is of the nature of the formless soul, which is Brahman or God.

Soul, the innermost is the ultimate Reality; have no doubt. The soul innermost self is not something known by the ego; the soul, the innermost self is the very one who knows! How, then, could you think to know the Self?
