Pursuit of truth is a very personal journey

Until and unless the seeker of truth finds the fact that, the religion, scriptures, god/guru glorification or chosen paths are inadequate and useless, in quenching his spiritual thirst, and finds them all as method of dead words, and then only he will be able to grasp and realize the non dual truth.
Truth pursuit is for those who has intense urge to know the truth of their true existence, and receptive mind, which has the courage to accept only uncontradictable truth, and reject the untruth. People who are emotionally and sentimentally involved with religion, god and scriptures and gurus and yoga should avoid indulging in pursuit of truth.
Religion, scriptural studies, theories, concept of god and yoga are valuable for those who do believe their present physical identity [ego] as real, and world as reality. And it helps to manipulate the worldly life.
Since pursuit of truth is a very personal journey, and there is nothing is needed other then verifying “What is mind?” and “What is substance of the mind?” Religion, concept of god, scriptural knowledge becomes big obstacle in realizing the non dual truth, because they are based on the body [I] as self, whereas the non dual truth is based on the soul/Ataman as self.
Since everyone is   viewing the worldview on the base of object as subject [ body/’I’] due to ignorance, they have to become aware of the fact  that ,the true subject, is Ataman by rectifying the reasoning base, from form, to formless, mentally in order to acquire the nondual truth.
Inquiry and reasoning on the true base revels the fact that, neither physical body, nor the ‘I’, the true self.  The formless witness of the ‘I’ is the true self.  The formless witness is Ataman/spirit.  The three mental states of waking, dream and deep sleep are unreal, because they have no permanence. Man and his experience of the world is reality within the waking /dream. But the point is, the waking is also as unreal as dream. They come and go.  Thus one has to realize the fact that there must be a knower [witness] of these three states which appear and disappear in succession.
One has to trace the source of the three states, from where they appear and disappear. The source is the witness and the true self. This has to be grasped mentally by constantly reflecting on the source until one gets the firm conviction that, the source itself is the true self, and the source is formless Ataman/spirit.  Once this conviction becomes firm, then the true base is formed mentally, and one will be able to view and judge the worldview on the base of the formless subject.
On the base of formless subject [Ataman], the three states becomes an object to the formless subject [Ataman], and one will be to view and judge the worldview on the base of Ataman and realize the fact that waking /dream which consist of man and world are unreal, on the standpoint of the formless witness. This is first step the seeker has to take. Once the true base formed mentally the truth will start unfolding on its own.
It takes a long time to form the base mentally, but for those who are free from religion; scriptural knowledge and concept of god and yoga can grasp it with lesser time and effort.

There are three aspects in pursuit of truth

One has to avoid using the words like higher and lower self in F.P, because it gives an idea that there are two self. And also gives an idea that both the self are real. It is only in yogic/ and astral projection they say as higher and lower self, or in the beginning of spiritual pursuit to convince the beginners.

When one reaches the higher understanding, then one has to use only subject and object and real and unreal to grasp the non dual truth.

By saying higher self are us, you have left out the world, and you are speaking of the individual self [ego]. And it is only half truth. Thus the soul becomes individualized whereas the soul is the formless substance and witness of three states, which pervades in everything and everywhere in the three states. The self [Ataman] exists only as formless substance witness of the three states, therefore it cannot be found as an entity or identity in the physical world.

You/me/others/us/ exists within the world. The world exists within the waking experience. The waking experience/dream is mind [duality]. The deep sleep is no mind state [non-duality]. The mind appears and disappears as ‘I’. Thus limiting the ‘I’/mind only to the physical entity is cause of all confusion. Thus one has to make sure first ‘I’/mind, is not the self, but ‘I’ is the whole experience of waking/dream/mind. If I is there the mind is there. If mind is there the waking/dream is there. Absent of ‘I’/mind is absent of waking/dream.

To describe the true self [Ataman/sprit] you have to bifurcate the subject, from object mentally, by constantly reflecting on the formless witness and grasp and realize it. One has to realize the fact that the waking/dream are the objects, and the subject is formless. The waking/dream is an object to the formless subject. This has to be grasped mentally; it cannot be described by the words. This can be achieved through constantly reading the F.S messages repetitively which creates the base and also a yardstick subconsciously and replaces the reasoning faculty from present form base to formless base. Once one becomes aware of the fact that the subject is formless then he becomes aware of the fact that waking/dream are mere experiences in which man and the world are present. Thus it proves the fact that man is mere experience and perceives the world within the experience [waking/dream]. [Illustration is dream- the dream is not experienced by physical body] Therefore, the experiencer [witness] of the whole waking is formless. Thus the formless experiencer [witness] is the subject and the waking/dream is an object. The formless witness is the true self [Ataman], all else [waking/dream] is illusion.

The subject [Ataman] is hidden within the three states as its formless clay and it is without the object [waking/dream] as its formless witness. The subject is apart [Ataman] from the object because it is not an entity or identity within the waking/dream. Thus it is necessary for any one to study deeply enough to get the perfect understanding and realization.

There are three aspects in pursuit of truth, 1. Discovering 2. Assimilating 3. Realizing. Only by discovering and assimilating the wisdom will not dawn, one has to realize it, by constantly reflecting on the subject until the conviction becomes firmer and matures.

Realizing the absence of causality as ultimate truth

Birthlessness of the mind, which is free from Manifestation and causal relationship, is absolute and constant. For duality i.e. the perceiving mind and its objects is merely an objectification of the mind.
Realizing the absence of causality as ultimate truth and not finding any other reason for birth, one attains that state which is free from grief, desire and fear.
On account of attachment to unreal objects the mind pursues such objects. But it comes back to its pure state when it attains non-attachment, realizing their unreality.
The mind freed from attachment to all external objects and undistracted by fresh objects attains the state of immutability. Such a mind is Ataman; it is undifferentiated, birthless and non-dual.
The birthless, dreamless and sleepless Reality reveals itself by itself; for this Ataman by its very nature is self- luminous.  The Ataman becomes easily hidden because of attachment to any single object and is revealed with great difficulty.
The ignorant, with their spiritually immature   minds, verily cover Ataman by predicating of it such attributes as existence, non-existence, existence and non-existence and total non-existence, deriving these characteristics from the notions of change, immovability, combination of change and immovability and absolute negation which they associate with Ataman.
Attachment to unreality hides the truth from one's view. He who knows the Ataman to it ever untouched by them indeed knows all.
There is nothing else remains to be desired by him who has attained the natural state, -a state of complete non-duality, which is without beginning, middle, or end.

The waking experience is an object to the formless witness

In a dream one sees the whole variety of individual,.  These entities, which are within the dream, do not exist apart   from the witness of the dream. Likewise, the dream is an object to the formless witness / true self/Ataman.
Likewise the waking experience is also an object to the formless witness/ true self/Ataman.
The waking man, wandering about in all the ten directions in his waking experince, sees the whole the variety of individuals are within the dream. Similarly there is variety of individual in the waking world. The waking also disappears as dream. The witness of the three states is within but apart from the three states.  It is within because it is the formless clay of the three states and it is apart as the formless witness of the three states, it is apart because it is not an entity or identity within the waking /dream.
The waking /dream cannot exist independently without the formless witness/true self. There is no evidence of the existence of the one without the other; they are cognized only through each other.
Nirakara

Ataman is free from all appearances and remains Changeless.

As the line made by a moving fire-brand appears to be straight, crooked, etc., so Ataman/spirit, when set in motion, appears as the perceiver, the perceived and the like.

As the fire-brand, when not in motion, is free from all appearances and remains changeless, so Ataman/spirit, when not in motion, is free from all appearances and remains Changeless.
When the fire—brand is set in motion, the appearances that are seen in it do not come from elsewhere. When it is still, the appearances do not leave the motionless fire—brand and go elsewhere, nor do they enter into the fire-brand itself.
The appearances do not emerge from the fire-brand, because their nature is not that of a substance. This applies likewise to Ataman, because of the similarity of the appearances.

When Ataman is associated with the idea of activity, as in the waking /dream, the appearances that seem to arise do not come from anywhere else. When Ataman is none-active, as in deep sleep, the appearances do not leave the non-active Ataman and go elsewhere, nor do they merge in it. The appearances do not emerge from Ataman, for their nature is not that of a substance. They are incomprehensible, because they are not subject to the relation of cause and effect.

A substance may be the cause of another substance and a non- substance, the cause of another non-substance. But the individual cannot possibly be anything like a substance or a non-substance.

The three states are not caused by the mind, nor is the mind caused by them because they are mind itself. The mind is myth on the standpoint of the Ataman as self. Hence one has to hold to the principle of absolute non-creation.

The real to be the cause of the unreal!

The unreal cannot have another unreality for its cause, nor can the real have the unreal for its cause. The real cannot be the cause of the real. And how utterly impossible it is for the real to be the cause of the unreal!
As a person within the waking experience through false knowledge appears to handle objects, whose nature is inscrutable, as if they were real, so also, in dreams, he perceives, through false knowledge, objects whose existence is possible in the dream alone.
Scholars teach causality only for the sake of those who, afraid of non creation, assert the reality of external objects because they perceive such objects and also because they cling to various social and religious duties.
Those who, because of their fear of the truth of absolute non- creation and also because of their perception of external objects, deny non-creation are not affected by the evil consequent on the belief in creation. This evil, if there is any, is insignificant.

Birth is not possible from the standpoint of Reality

As long as a person clings to the belief in causality, the experience of duality will prevail as reality. But when this attachment to causality wears away, the duality becomes non-existent as reality.
The three states are created by false knowledge; therefore nothing in it is eternal. Everything, again, as one with Ultimate Reality, is unborn; therefore there is no such thing as destruction.
Birth is ascribed to the individual; but such birth is not possible from the standpoint of Reality. Their birth, life and death are part of the illusion. That illusion, again, does not exist. The illusory sprout is born of the illusory seed. This illusory sprout is neither permanent nor destructible. The same applies to the individual and the world.
The term permanent or impermanent cannot be applied to the birthless self. What is indescribable in words cannot be discriminated about as permanent or impermanent.
As in dreams the mind acts through illusion, presenting the appearance of duality, so also in the waking state the mind acts through illusion, presenting the appearance of duality. There is no doubt that the mind, which is in reality non-dual, appears to be dual in dreams; likewise, there is no doubt that what is non-dual i.e. Ataman, appears to be dual in the waking state.

It is Ataman, alone that appears to be born or to move or to take the form of matter.

It is Ataman, alone that appears to be born or to move or to take the form of matter. But Ataman is really ever unborn, immovable and free from the traits of materiality; it is all peace and non-dual.
Thus the true self is never subject to birth. All beings, too, are free from birth. Those who know this do not fall into false knowledge.
A substance may be the cause of another substance and a non- substance, the cause of another non-substance. But the true self cannot possibly be anything like a substance or a non-substance.
Thus three states are not caused by the mind, nor is the mind caused by them. As long as a person clings to the belief in causality, he will find cause producing effect. But when this attachment to causality wears away, cause and effect become non-existent.

Ataman alone exists

Ataman, the One and Undifferentiated, which by the manifold application of its powers produces, the dual and non dual experiences [waking/dream/deep sleep] and, in the end, withdraws the three states into itself, is indeed the self—luminous.
The Maker of all the three states, self—luminous and all—pervading, Ataman dwells always in the three states as its formless clay and witness. Ataman is revealed by the negative way, discriminative wisdom and the Knowledge of Unity based upon reflection. The one who know Ataman is the true self becomes one with the immortal self.
When there is no ignorance, there is no day or night, neither being nor none—being; the pure Ataman alone exists. That immutable Reality is the meaning of "Ataman. From it has proceeded the non dual wisdom.
No one can grasp Ataman as separate entity apart from duality because it is the formless clay and the witness of the experience of duality thus it cannot be grasped as above, across, or in the middle.
Its form is not an object of vision; no one beholds it with the eyes. They who, through pure intellect and the Knowledge of Unity based upon reflection, realize Ataman as the true self becomes one with the immortal.

Maher Baba said: - God is your inner most self.

Maher Baba said: - God is your inner most self. Do not search for god outside of you.  Let these words be inscribed in your heart. Nothing is real but god. Nothing Matters but love for god. God is everywhere and does everything. God is beyond us and is everything .God alone is and all else is illusion.

To know what is god we must know what self is. In deeper self-search we becomes aware of the fact that, our body, ego and our experience of the universe are created out of single stuff, which is consciousness or soul.  Due to ignorance we identify the soul with the body and we become egocentric.  When we become aware of the fact that, the self is not the form but self is formless then we become soul -centric and realize the fact that, all the three states are mere illusion created out of consciousness.  Thus, consciousness is ultimate truth. The consciousness is our inner most self.    Ultimate truth is God or Brahman Christ or Buddha.

He who knows the Ataman as self verily becomes Ataman

Ataman cannot be attained by one who is without strength or earnestness or without the receptiveness and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth. But if a serious seeker strives by means of inquiry, analysis and reasoning on the true base, he will be able to realize it.
By realizing Ataman, the one become satisfied with that Knowledge. He establishes in the true self, and he is free from experiencing the duality as reality and he is in non dual tranquility. Such seeker ever devoted to the Self, behold everywhere the Ataman.
Having well ascertained the Self, the goal of the Self- knowledge and having perfect understudying, the seekers, never relaxing their efforts, enjoy here supreme Immortality and at the time of the great end attain complete freedom in Ataman.
When one realizes the fact that the causes of all the causes is uncaused; and views and judges the worldview on the base of the uncaused, then  everything of the experience of  duality, becomes one with the highest imperishable Ataman, which is the Self of all.
As flowing rivers disappear in the sea, losing their names and forms, so one is freed from name and form, attains the Ataman, which is greater than the Great.
He who knows the Ataman as self verily becomes Ataman. He overcomes the experience of duality; becomes one with the immortal self/Ataman.

By the knowing of Ataman the three states becomes known.

By the knowing of Ataman the three states becomes known. Thus the formless knower of the three states is Ataman. Until one becomes aware of the fact that the soul is the true self, he is bound to believe that the body is the knower and views and judges the worldview on the standpoint of body [I] as self, thus remain ignorant of the fact that the soul/Ataman is the true self.
Only through Higher Knowledge the Imperishable Ataman is attained. By means of the Higher Knowledge the one beholds in everything and everywhere Ataman, which otherwise cannot be seen or seized, which has no root or attributes, no eyes or ears, no hands or feet; which is eternal and omnipresent, all—pervading and extremely subtle; which is imperishable and the source of three states.
Ignorant, dwelling in ignorance, but wise in their own conceit and puffed up with vain scholarship, wander about, being afflicted by many ills, like blind led by the blind.
People, immersed in ignorance in various ways, flatter themselves, saying: We have accomplished life's mission. Because these performers of karma do not know the non dual Truth owing to their attachment, they will never be able to cross the ocean of duality or cycle of birth, life and death.
People regarding religious rituals, god glorification and sacrifices and humanitarian works as the highest, do not know any higher good. By expecting reward for their good deeds they remain in the clutches of duality and fully ignorant about the true self/Ataman.
Gnani who is in tranquility of non dual Ataman, who lives as a householder/commoner and never poses himself as man of knowledge, but helps and guides the serious seeker as a fellow seeker by inspiring them until they reach their non dual destination.
Gnani knows all and understands all and full y aware of the fact that, the experiences of the three states belongs to Ataman alone. He assumes as the experiences of the three states [duality and non-duality]. Ataman dwells in the three states as its formless clay. By the knowledge of that formless clay which shines as the blissful and immortal Ataman, the Gnani behold Ataman the true self fully in all things.

Ataman is not known by those who know it;

If one thinks: "I know Ataman well," then surely he knows but little of its form; he knows only its form as conditioned by man or by the concept of gods. Therefore Ataman has to be grasped through inquiry, analysis and reasoning on the true base.
Ataman is not known by those who know it; it is known by those who do not know it.  That is when one says he knows Ataman; he is saying it as a person. The Ataman cannot be applied only to the individuality but to the whole experience [three states]. But in reality the person and world created out of Ataman, thus nothing exits other then Ataman. Thus if one says he knows Ataman as a person, he is making a wrong statement. One must know Ataman as the formless clay of the three states [whole].
Ataman is known when it is realized in every state of mind; for by such Knowledge one attains Immortality. By Ataman one obtains strength; by Knowledge, Immortality
If a man knows Ataman here, he then attains the non dual goal of his mission. If he does not know it here, he remains ignorance experiencing the cycle of birth, life and death as reality. Having realized the Self in every being, the wise relinquish the world and become immortal.

Ataman the true Self is hidden and pervades in everything and everywhere in the three states

Ataman the true Self is hidden and pervades in everything and everywhere in the three states as their formless substance and witness; but it is seen by Gnanis through their one—pointed and subtle intellects.
The serious seeker should merge his speech in his mind and his mind in his intellect by understanding the fact that all his experiences are created out of Ataman/spirit.
Seeker has to arise! awake and learn to know the fact that the experience of duality [waking/dream] is created out of Ataman, without understanding this fact , there is no unity in diversity. The path of truth is Like the sharp edge of a razor, so it is hard to tread and difficult to cross without perfect understanding and without the guidance of Gnani
Having realized Ataman, which is soundless, intangible, formless, undecaying and likewise tasteless, eternal and odourless; having realized That which is without beginning and end, beyond the Great and unchanging—one is freed from experiencing the duality as reality.
It is through Ataman that one perceives all objects in sleep or in the waking state. Having realized the vast, all—pervading Ataman, one enters into non dual tranquility.
He who knows the soul as true self, the formless experiencer of the three states, as Ataman, free from experiencing the past ,present and the future as reality.
Ataman is undistorted Consciousness. He who meditates on Ataman is free from experiencing the pain and pleasure as reality, liberated from the bonds of ignorance; he becomes free from experiencing the diversity as reality.
The soul, when identifies with the body and dwelling in it by experiencing the duality as reality. If it is torn away from the body and its experience, is freed from it, what then remains? Whatever prevails is non dual Ataman.
The Ataman/soul, which remains awake while the sense—organs are asleep, shaping one lovely form after another that indeed is the Pure, that is Ataman and that alone is called the Immortal. All three states are contained in Ataman and none can pass beyond.

There is a need to dismantle the inherited physical structure mentally to overcome the duality.

Many people are not even aware what is Ataman; though knowing of it, many do not comprehend. Only few expound the knowledge of Ataman and very rare assimilate and realize it.  It is all because of their inherited religious and social background and grooming.
There is a need to dismantle the inherited physical structure mentally to overcome the duality. The whole physical structure is built on the foundation of the ‘I’. Since they think the ‘I’ as Ataman/self, it becomes difficult to grasp and assimilate and realize the non dual truth.
The ‘I’, appears and disappears as mind [waking/dream] is impermanent, hence it is not the self. The formless knower of the ‘I’ [waking/dream] is the true self. Since people think whatever is propagated by the guru/yogi as ultimate truth and blindly accept it as truth, without verifying the validity of their preaching. This blind acceptance becomes a big hindrance in pursuit of truth. If one is seeking truth, one has to verify the validity of any claim through inquiry, analysis and reasoning on the true base, and accept only un -contradictable truth.
Self-knowledge when taught by an unqualified person is not easily comprehended, because it is diversely regarded by disputants. But when it is taught by him who has become one with Ataman, there can remain no more doubt about It. Ataman is subtler than the subtlest and not to be known through argument.
Self- Knowledge cannot be attained by reasoning based on the ‘I’ [physical based]. Ataman becomes easy of comprehension, when taught by another. One has to attain self- Knowledge right now in this very life not in next world or next life.
Gnani, by means of concentration on the true Self, realizes that ancient, effulgent hidden and which dwells and pervades in everything and everywhere in all the three states as its formless substance and witness.
The knowing the true Self is not born; It does not die. It has not sprung from anything; nothing has sprung from It. Birthless, eternal, everlasting and ancient, it is not killed when the body is killed or when the world disappears.  If the murderer thinks he kills and if the killed man thinks he is killed, neither of these apprehends aright. The Self kills not, nor is it killed.
Ataman exists in smaller than the small, greater than the great, and is hidden in the three states as its formless substance and witness. A man who is free from viewing and judging the worldview on the base of ‘I’ beholds the Self through tranquility and becomes free from experiencing the duality as reality.
Gnani, having realized Ataman as dwelling within impermanent states is bodiless, pervades the three states as its formless substance and witness and permanent and eternal.
Self-knowledge cannot be acquired by the study of the scriptures, or by intelligence, or by much hearing of sacred books. It is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Ataman reveals its own form.
He who has not rectified his seeking base from the ‘I’[form] base to soul[formless] base , who does not have the intense urge to know the non dual truth and who is not tranquil and subdued and whose mind is not receptive , cannot acquire Self-Knowledge . It is realized only through inquiry, analysis and reasoning on the true base.

It is impossible to judge the truth on the physical entity,

Until one has the conviction that he is born in this world and world existed prior to him, he will not be able to assimilate self-knowledge. When he realizes the fact that, he and his experience of the world co-exits together and disappears together then he becomes aware of the fact that the physical entity is not the self. Therefore, it is impossible to judge the truth on the physical entity, and come to some conclusion and conviction and then accepting the imaginary truth based on the false self as ultimate truth is mere theory based on the false self.

Self-knowledge comes through one's own direct realization of truth, not through beliefs and dogmas or by following religious code of conducts. The religion and its concepts have value with in the illusion, and have nothing to do with the truth, which is based on the soul.

The three states come into being because of ignorance of the permanent self. Thus, they have no existence of their own without a permanent self, which is the soul. There is neither the three states nor the witness; only nondual reality.

Only when the wisdom dawns the waking become unreal. The man who believes himself as a person born in this world and world existed prior to him will not be able to assimilate self-knowledge.

What's most important to understand about the three states is that they are unreal in their nature. They are mere appearances, because there are impermanent. Thus the physical self/ego is not the self because it is limited to the waking/dream. The true self is the formless substance and witness of the three states, which is the soul. The soul is apart and permanent. The soul is the true self because the three states are dependent on the soul for their existence, whereas the soul exists with or without the three states, which appear and disappear in succession.
The physical is not an integral, autonomous entity. The individual self, or what we might call the ego, is part of the waking/dream. The ego ceases to exist without the waking/dream.
If one can view the three states on the standpoint of the soul as self, he becomes aware of the fact that, the true which is the soul is not subject to the birth, life and death. The true self is only formless substance and witness of the three states.
To understand and assimilate this truth there is no need for the seeker to lose him self in the labyrinths of philosophy, but goes straight to the source from which they all arise and subside.

Everything here refers to Ataman, because everything [three states] is created out of soul/spirit. On the standpoint of soul/spirit there is nothing exists other then the soul. Thus everything, which is soul/spirit, is perfectly perfect. People who view and judge on the standpoint of the physical self/ego will not understand this because they see diversity as reality. They think ‘I’ is self, and body is illusion, whereas, the body and the ‘I’, both are part of the illusion. They think whatever exists within the waking experience that is, man and his experience of the world as reality.

There are so many obstacles if one tries to reach non-dual destination through physical/ego based paths and practices. Therefore, physical/ego based paths and practices are round about way to reach the non-dual destination.

The scholars are sentimentally and emotionally involved with their inherited philosophy which is based on the scriptures they will not be able to grasp the non dual truth. The nondual truth has to be grasped without the religion, scriptures and god glorification.

BIRTH, LIFE AND DEATH ARE WITHIN THE MIND

If one wishes to free his-self from the illusory state of cycle of birth, life and death, which is present as mind, he must awaken to non dual truth, which is hidden within the mind as its invisible substance and witness.
The birth, life and death are happening within the waking experience [mind]. They cease to exist without the mind. It is erroneous to seek truth on the base of 'I'. ‘I’ is the false base, and keeps one in the web of duality. In the clutches of waking experience [duality], he will only able to view and judge the truth, on the physical base, and will be unable to cross the boundaries of the waking experience[ mind or duality].
Since people are unable to cross the boundaries of the waking experience [mind], because they are conditioned to view and judge on the base of 'I' which is the false self. The 'I' base ceases to exist without physicality. Thus 'I' is not the permanent entity. Therefore, it is necessary to know the eternal identity in order to realize the mind is mere illusion.
If one becomes aware of the fact that mind is mere illusion then he becomes aware of the fact that birth, life and death are also illusion, because they are within the mind.

THE FORMLESS WITNESS WITNESSES THE PERSON AND THE WORLD TOGETHER

As a person perceiving the world the mind is not aware of the fact that, the true self is the soul, which, witnesses Waking experience [the person and his experience of the world together]. However, the witness is apart from the Waking experience [person and his experience of the world]. Since it is not an entity or identity within the waking experience, but it is the formless substance of the mind. The person and his experience of the world together [waking] is mind.
Limiting the ‘I’ [mind] to the physical entity is cause of the ignorance. And one is caught in the web of ego. Until and unless, the seeker becomes aware of the fact that, the individual experiences within the Waking experience is nothing to do in pursuit of truth.
The love, compassion and virtues and service, conducts, service to human kind are good for the society and they are part of the individual experiences within the Waking experience. But they are not qualification to acquire wisdom.
Until and unless seeker is aware of the fact that 'I' is not the self but 'I' is mind. And mind is the whole waking experience [duality] in which person perceives the world as an individual.
The mind which appears as Waking, dream and disappears as deep sleep. Therefore, it is necessary to know the invisible knower of the mind which appears and disappears, because person and the world are within the mind. Thus a person cannot take the authorship of the mind, because mind is dependent on the invisible witness.
There is no point in arguing with those who view and base the worldview on the base of physical self, because they are unaware of the fact that, the physical body is dependent on something else to function itself as person, and perceive the world. If physical body is independent functioning on its own then their viewpoint can be accepted as truth.
It is erroneous to view and judge the worldview on the authorship of ‘I’ or physical body, when they are not the true author of the Waking experience. There is a need to wake up and verify the fact the true author of the Waking experience. There is no use of convincing those because they believe only in their accepted truth not universal truth.
In the beginning the mind resists to inquire and reason. However, by constant reflecting into the nature of the mind it becomes receptive, and able to grasp and assimilate the knowledge of the true self or the spirit.
