The knowledge accumulated on the base physical self is not nondual wisdom.

Seeker has to give up the conditioning that makes him reason on the base of physical self, because the self is not physical. The accumulated knowledge based on the physical self is bound to be falsehood.  Therefore, the reasoning based has to be rectified from physical to the spirit in order to assimilate self-knowledge.

The physical self/ ego  is  related to name, profession, region, language and other such acquired identities whereas the true Self is formless thus free of burden and bondage.  There is no need to have an attitude about the real nature of the true self. It exists in all the three states but it is hidden in them as their formless substance and witness. Through deeper inquiry and analysis and reasoning   into the nature of the mind one becomes aware of the fact that, the duality is mere mirage created out of the formless spirit, which is the true self.

Some cult has no dogma concerning the nature or existence of the divine. They tend to not believe in a personal god and are more likely to believe in an impersonal divine force, to revere a universal life force, or to not believe in a god at all, but it is by no means a requirement.  They focus on humanist values, supporting equality, social justice, and respect for the wider world, beliefs that are easily compatible with a variety of other religions.  But all these ideas have value only in the realm of duality. Their views are based on the physical self.  Therefore their ideas are limited to physical existence.

The knowledge accumulated on the base physical self is not nondual wisdom. It is mere a repetition of the scriptures with different interpretation by different people. The pursuit of truth is mere mental journey. The very purpose of the pursuit of truth is to focus the entire attention at the source of the mind from where it rises and subsides.

It is not one eye searching for another eye. The reasoning on the base of the soul is the real formula, for it involves an intense activity of the physical self/ego to keep it steadily poised in true self-awareness.

Until one realises the fact that the self is the formless soul/ spirit, the inquiry, analysis and reasoning should continue. Gradually, it is possible for one to get permanently established in the state of non-dual -awareness. The nondual -awareness is the true nature of the true self.

Seeker has to reject all the three states mentally and persist with the formless witness of the three states. If one is able to establish in the witness base the ignorance will get to disappear and one becomes aware of the nondual reality.

Inquiry, analysis and reasoning leads to knowledge of the true Self. One is aware of the Self even-though the Self is not objectified. When one says he does not know the Self, it means absence of related knowledge because he is so accustomed to relative knowledge that he always looks for same. Because of this the goal of Self- realisation appears to be distant.
