While man has always known that he exists, but he never really investigated with what he is able to exist and perceive the world?
Does the "Self "have a place where it starts?
Does the "Self" have a place where it ends?
Does "Self" appear to be bound by form, time and space?
Is"Self" always the same or ever changing?
Did "Self " get older as the physical body aged?
Is it constant or moving or it will ever be different?
Can anyone, even for a moment, get out of it?
If waking or dream vanishes would the "Self" still be present?
Does anything affect the 'self"?
Is it physical presence or is it just awareness?
The self exists as formless substance and witness of illusion or universe or mind. The self that one know is there but it is not and entity or identity within the illusion, which appears as waking and dream and disappears as deep sleep.
One becomes aware of the fact that the soul, the innermost self , what is being pointed to with words like formless, spaceless and timeless, is the formless stuff from which the whole experience of diversity is made.
The awareness is the nature of the formless soul ,which is present in the form of consciousness. Formless soul or consciousness is the innermost self. The awareness is the formless substance of the experience of diversity. Awareness is something that one is sure of and there is no need or reason to question it but one has to be come aware of the fact that, awareness is one ,not many, and diversity is mere illusion on the standpoint of the awareness as self.
When soul or consciousness remains aware of itself, then it is non-dual self-awareness.
