Till we know what truth is, it is impossible to know what is untruth. Because each of us has different ideas of truth, which we inherited from prenatal grooming or religion or circumstances borrowed from other sources. Thus it becomes very difficult to accept other than the accepted truth. Only serious seekers who have the intense urge to know the beyond our physical existence, indulges in pursuit of truth. Thus it is very personal journey.
Only when we become aware of the fact that:-
The one which witnesses the body and universe is not “ME”. The body, which is born, lives and dies within the world, is not the witness.
The witness is the one, which witnesses the “me” [body + world] without the physical apparatus.
The “ME” itself is myth. The “ME” is not limited to the body alone but “ME” represents the whole universe in which the individual exists. When the “ME” is there the universe is there. When the universe is there then we are there. The universe appears in the form of mind. The mind appears as waking or dream and disappears as deep sleep. The one which is aware of the appearance and disappearance of the universe [mind] is formless apart and eternal. One has to become aware of the formless witness, which is Atman/soul/consciousness. Atman itself is Brahman or ultimate truth.
Nothing is ever lost; nothing is ever gained when we are aware of the ultimate truth or Brahman. Until we remain ignorant of the truth we will experience the pain and pleasure as reality. By realizing the self is not physical but self is consciousness, one becomes free from experiencing pain and pleasure as reality.
As one digs into Formless path blogs he will become more aware of the fact that our physical identity with the name is false self and the world experienced on the base of false self is also false experience.
This has to be verified personally to realize the self is not physical but self is consciousness. The body and the world are mere mirage created out of consciousness.
