Everyone believes in individualized god.
Every belief system has its own concocted god. Without the belief of god there
is no religion. Some belief system has
one god and others have many God theory. People who say God is
cause of the world never verified the facts. They mere assume that God is cause
of the world. Before world is produced, what is God? He is
then neither cause nor effect (no world effect being existent). If he was no
cause then, he cannot be a cause now. All these assumption are built on
dualistic standpoint.
Most of the gurus are empty babbler of
words. Some are stuck with intellectual manipulation.
Some are perverse and think that they get enlightenment through argument. The Gurudom
is not the source of wisdom but it is only source of information of this and
that. Ultimate truth or Brahman is not information. They are
plying with the feelings of the people with ornamental world. Pursuit of truth cannot
exist without verification and ultimate truth or Brahman cannot be got without
deeper verification. What seeker of truth wants is proof, not imagination?
Seeker has to thoroughly verify before
accepting anything as truth. If anyone promises something amazing things happen in future, that is no passing
of test. He must show his worth here and now.
A guru is not needed to show the seeker
the path because the truth has to be ascertained by seeker himself. A Gnani
never claims himself as a guru nor does he accept anyone as disciple. A Gnani
never identifies himself as a Gnani. A Gnani
quietly sows the seeds of non-duality and allow it to grow subconsciously on its
own. A Gnani
indicates where the seeker is going wrong, and what is blocking his realization.
A Gnani is the one who attained the non-dual tranquility in the midst of duality. A Gnani is in self –awareness and
he is fully aware of the fact that the form, time and space are mere mirage
created out of consciousness.
They alone in this world are endowed with the
highest wisdom who are firm in their conviction of the sameness and
birthlessness of Ataman. The ordinary man does not understand their way. [Chapter IV — Alatasanti Prakarana
95-P-188 in Upanishads by Nikilanada]
This passage indicates the fact that
everything is Ataman/spirit. The one who views and judges the worldview on the
base of his birth /body will not realize the fact that, the man including the
world is created sustained and finally dissolves as Ataman. Thus Ataman alone
is, and all else is mirage.
Thus
self-knowledge is the aim of every human being. Since everyone thinks the
physical body is the self, their aim is misdirected and they focus their
attention on materiality which makes one feel the duality [waking] as reality.
In pursuit of
truth the ultimate truth has to be proved, not assumed. Pundits who take
scriptures for granted are not Gnanis.
Sri, Sankara founded his Advaita
Vedanta either on reason independent of sruti or on sruti confirmed by
reason." Sri, Sankara's commentary on the Mandukya Upanishad,
II, 1: This [the unreality of duality] is borne out by the Srutis
... But it is possible also to show the unreality of the object world even from
pure reasoning, and this second chapter is undertaken for that purpose.
Sri, Sankara himself had often said that his philosophy was based on Sruti,
or revealed scripture. This may be because Sri, Sankara addressed the
ordinary man, who finds security in the idea of causality and thus in the idea
of God—and Revelation is indispensable to prove the latter. He believed
that those of superior intelligence, have no need of this idea of divine
causality, and can therefore dispense with Sruti and arrive at the
truth of Non-Dualism by pure reason.
Non-duality does not need the support
of any Scripture or Revelation like the Veda. For it is based, not upon the
varying theological fancies, which are as numerous as the sands of the sea, but
upon reason, the common heritage of all mankind, irrespective of colour or
creed or clime.
The reason must be first trained to
judge the worldview on the base of the soul, which is the true self.
One cannot grasp the Advaitic truth by
reading Advaitic literature or by following gurus or by mastering the
scriptures. It is foolish to expect sudden revelation of Advaitic truth without
deeper self-search.
Advaitic truth cannot be explained on
one or two words, or in one or two discussion. Deeper self-search is necessary
in order to overcome the inborn samskara which is present as senses of ‘I’ or ‘I AM’, which hold the universe or
physical existence. The seeker himself must do the work of grasping
the Truth by using his own reason and judgment. Nobody else, no guru can do it
for him.
All men have not got the capacity to
know Truth, but very few have the intense urge to know the truth. Some among these few are so intelligent they
grasp it at once. Henceforth they have only to stabilize their illumination.
Most believe without surrendering the
guru the wisdom is impossible. Some believe
by worshiping God and physical guru they are qualified for Brahmagnana or
Atmagnana or Self-Knowledge.
Most people judge a teacher by his outer
appearance, religious costume, his perpetual silences, his orthodox way of life
style, his way of expressing the love and compassion his mastery over the scriptures . People they
do not judge by questioning the guru, because such questioning is not allowed.
Most people are following Gurudom just because their ancestors were part of it. Gurudom
is religious or yogic based dogmatic knowledge showing down by its authority
based on faith and belief but they cater only the lower web but they will never be
able to satisfy the thirst of the seeker of truth.
Many gurus and yogis suffer from the insanity
of the exaggerated ego because they are based on the egocentric knowledge. They are busy after acquiring doctorates and
noble prizes and money making venture. Only very few noble gurus and yogis are
immersed in serving the humanity.
Most gurus and yogis want to distinguish
themselves from others" is their idea, and so they go about naked or else
travel gorgeously on modern limousine or sit in a tiger skin and conceal
themselves in a cave without food for months. All this indicates lack of mental
balance. The self is not physical but the
self is formless then why all these show and pomper, which has no value in the realm
of truth. Following all these gurus and
yogis in order to get self –realization is
a great blunder.
No one can determine anyone by his
outer appearance whether he be a sage or fool, scoundrel or good character;
therefore we can only draw inferences from his actions as to what status and
character his mind has attained.
People give titles to mystics as Gnani,
Avatars, Sadguru etc. merely because they do not know what these terms mean, so
they just imagine. Seeker of truth must verify
all such claims rationally.
Whoever fails to see the universe in Samadhi
has fallen to yoga and is not a Gnani. The Gnani always sees the universe and
does not lapse into unconsciousness.
When one know Atman he know at what stage a man is, why he acts in a
certain ways what are his capacities for imagination, his motives etc.
Renunciation is getting rid of ignorance, which is cause of
experiencing the illusion as reality by realizing the consciousness is the true
self and cause of the illusion and it itself is uncaused.
The resting of the mind steadfastly on its true nature, which is
consciousness after having mentally detached from three states by continually
observing their unreal nature, one enters into non-dual self-awareness.
Acceptance by firm judgment and conviction the un-contradictable
truth derived from the deeper self-search as truth, by means of which the
Reality is perceived.
Yearning for freedom
from experiencing the illusion as reality by realising the self is not the form
but formless and self is not limited to the body but it pervades the whole
universe as its formless substance and witness. Once one becomes aware of the
unreal nature of mind, which is in the form of universe than he becomes aware
of the fact that, the individual experience of the birth, life and death mere
indulgence in discussion but the constant reflecting on the formless substance
and witness of the three states and realizing the formless substance and
witness are one in essence leads one to self-awareness.
The three states are mere illusion created of consciousness.
Thus one becomes free from experiencing the illusion as reality, which is the
cause of burden and bondage.
Verifying through inquiry
into the truth of one’s true existence is devotion. The seeker of truth through
deeper self-search by realizing the fact that, the self is neither the waking
entity nor the dream entity but the self is the formless substance and witness
of the three states. The formless substance and witness is consciousness, which
is the inner most self. Mentally rectifying the reasoning base from form to formless
is necessary in order to drop physical based intellectuality.
People are making unlimited sacrifices and enduring unlimited suffering
in the name of protecting their religion and god. They are therefore ignorant
about the truth and incapable of understanding the ultimate truth, which is
universal god. All organized religions have unequivocally claimed man for the
life in the truth; thus it is sheer folly to fight in the name of religion and
god.
It is time that humanity had a fresh vision of truth that the mind,
which is in the form of universe, is myth and consciousness is the only thing
that is real and that matters. On the
base of consciousness as self, the physical life is a vain and empty pursuit of
illusory values.
Parental grooming is the main cause of religious influence upon the mass
mind-set and it cannot be wiped out without knowing the truth of one’s own
existence. Thus, teaching children to view and judge everything on religious
point of view by their parents, which warps the minds and destroys the capacity
to think beyond the belief system of their grooming.
People who are yearning for spiritual truth will not find it what they
are seeking for. Religious truth is individual truth and it is not universal
truth because the religion is based on individuality.
As one goes in deeper investigation find nothing satisfying in any
religion. The more he learns of any
religious doctrine they become aware of the fact that, the religion is not the
means for self-realization because the true ‘Self” is not the form but the true
self is formless. The religion is based
on the false self [ego] and false experience [universe]. Religion takes the
false self as real self and false experience as reality. Thus whatever is based
on the false self and false experience is bound to be falsehood.
The obsession with "our sins" having been "washed away by
water of river would be regarded as
evidence of a serious mental illness in an individual within any sane society,
but when this is an obsession of millions of people it becomes "religious
faith", held by many others to be something that should never be
criticized.
It was desperately important for the believers of their belief system
for some reason that others shared their beliefs because they assume that their
religious doctrine is literally true, and then justify their beliefs because
"God says so in their doctrine ".
It is no use of arguing with someone who has faith in his belief system
because for him there can be no possible refutation of what he believes, so
rational argument is entirely useless. He clings to his belief so strongly that
he makes no distinction between the truth and his belief. One has to know the
fact that god cannot exist without his existence. The truth does not depend on
gods’ existence but it entirely depends on man’s existence. Thus it is foolish to venture in knowing the
truth of gods existence without verifying the facts about his own
existence.
Deeper inquiry revel the fact that, the self is neither the body, nor the ego. If the self is not the body nor the ego then
it proves the fact that, whatever is seen, known, believed and
experienced on the base of the self as
body or ego is bound to be false hood.
Thus arguing on the standpoint of the body or ego, which is not the
“self”, is erroneous. Thus the whole
argument has to be based on the true self, which is not the body or ego. Thus it is necessary to realize the fact
that, the “self” is not the form but the “self” is formless in order to realize
the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth.
