The ignorance disappears when one becomes aware of the existence of the formless witness of the three states. And when one is able to discriminate between the formless witness and the three states and reaches the ultimate conclusion of such discrimination, that the consciousness alone is real and this world of names and forms illusory.
It is possible for a man to see the forms of the individual God, or to think of Him as a Person, only so long as he is conscious that he is a believer. From the ultimate standpoint no individual God can exist because man and his experience of the world itself is mere illusion created out of consciousness, which is the innermost self. Thus consciousness is ultimate truth. Ultimate truth is god or Brahman.

The real nature of consciousness cannot be described. But so long as one’s individuality is real, the world also is real, and equally real are the different forms of God and the feeling that God is a Person.
The path of devotion is good for those who are not searching for truth. It is an easy path for the worldly people. Who can fully know the infinite God? and there is no need is no knowing the Infinite God because one has blindly accepted the existence of God.
The path of love is good for those who are concerns with humanity. And their service to humanity has to be appreciated. There is no need for them is there of knowing the ultimate truth.
"The various states of mind of the Brahmajnani are described in the Vedas. The path of self- knowledge is extremely difficult. One cannot obtain Gnana if one has taken the sense of form, time and space as reality. Pursuit of truth is not the path of individual feeling but to trace the source of the individualized feeling.

All the scriptures hold the form, time and space as reality. If they hold form, time and space as reality the universe is automatically becomes reality. If universe is considered as reality than birth, life death will be experienced as reality. If birth, life and death is takes as reality than it is impossible to cross the threshold of duality. If duality remains as reality than ignorance will prevail unchecked. If ignorance prevails than illusion will prevail as reality.
Deeper self-search reveals the fact that, religious and yogic pursuit and pursuit of truth are not the same. The religious yogic pursuit is egocentric whereas pursuit of truth is soul-centric.
Anyone who has inner urge, humility and patience, is qualified for self-knowledge. A Gnani tries to lead the seeker of whatever level, to the goal of the true existence.
