Ignorance is the virus, which causes mental
disease called the Egocentricity. Every
creature is product of this virus in this illusory duality (universe or waking).
The people who are affected by this virus
severely will experience the disease (experience of birth, life, death and the
world) as reality because they are more concerned with the practical life
within the practical world. But people
who want to get rid of this virus will follow the path of truth or wisdom
Pursuit
of truth is getting rid this mental disease. This disease is the cause of
forgetfulness of one’s true identity which is beyond form, time and space.
The people who are more concerned with the
practical life within the practical world think that, the people who are in
path truth are lunatics but it is not so, but the people who take their
practical life within the materialistic world as reality are themselves unaware
of the fact that, they themselves are prisoners of the illusory mental disease
of egocentricity and remain in the mental asylum called universe experiencing the
pleasure and pain as reality.
The man of truth is
fully aware the game of pleasure and pain is illusory play of the formless soul
or consciousness, the innermost self, whereas the worldly person thinks, the
practical life within the practical world as reality.
The man of truth does not run away from
renouncing the world. The man of truth is takes life how it comes and acts
accordingly but the worldly man want to remain in the illusory world and want to enjoy only the pleasure not the suffering.
Man of truth is jollier and happier and he
attends to his duties and he is more concerned to humanity like any other householder
in his practical life within the practical
world. He is fully conscious of ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is illusion’ and he
more serious about the truth than the illusion.
Man of truth is more concerned about the truth
rather than the illusory play of pain and pleasure. Thus the one pointed attention on the
innermost self, leads one to Self-Awareness, which frees one from experiencing the
form, time and space as reality in the midst of illusory duality.
