The
waking experience is empirical which is based on ‘ego or waking entity’ as self. Within the waking experience, one view and
judges the worldview(three states) as a person. If
one wants acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana then he should learn to view and judge the worldview(three states) from the transcendental base or the base of the formless soul or consciousness ,the innermost self.
One cannot attain truth, while existing in empirical base and one cannot conduct his worldly activities in transcendental base. Both life and truth are important. Life has to be lived and one has to reach the truth to overcome the illusory burden and bondage of the experience of the illusory birth, life and death. Therefore seeker has to develop an integrated base of Reason to judge the dual and non-dual experiences in order to discover and realize what truth is and what is not, And also to accept the truth and reject the untruth.
Deeper self-search helps the seeker to discover and realize the fact that the
empirical experience is mere illusion and the helps him to transcend into the
invisible non-dual substance which is formless soul or consciousness. The soul which is present in the form of consciousness is the innermost self. Soul or consciousness the
eternal identity. On the standpoint of the eternal identity the three states are mere mirage created out of itself(consciousness).
The person who has
not learned to view and judge the worldview on the base of formless soul as self will
not be able to realize the truth.
People think the happiness and sorrow are experienced within the waking experience as reality because they take the individual experience of birth, life, death and the world as reality. the individual experience of birth, life, death and the world experienced within the dream was reality within the dream but dream became unreal when waking takes place. similarly the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. wisdom dawns when the waking entity becomes aware of the fact that, the self is neither the waking entity nor the self is dream entity but the the self is the formless soul, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states.
Eating drinking and making merry are reality within the illusion. the three states will appear false to the Gnani because he is fully aware of the fact that all the three states are mere mirage created out of consciousness(formless soul).
Orthodoxy is not the means to acquire Self-Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana because they are based on the experience birth, life, death and the world whereas the soul the innermost self is birthless ,deathless and world less because it is eve formless. A Gnani is fully aware
of the fact that, "what is truth' and 'what is falsehood' in the midst of the illusory duality(
Waking ).
The one who has
realized the fact that, formless soul or consciousness or spirit is the innermost self and able to view and
judge the worldview on the base of the formless soul (consciousness spirit) as self consciously can understand the
non-dual true nature of the innermost self.
It is impossible to experience bliss as waking entity because the waking entity is false self within the false experience. bliss is the non-dual true nature of soul (consciousness
or spirit), the innermost self. The yogic bliss based on the false self within the false experience (waking)
cannot be considered as Gnanic bliss.
The realization of
ultimate truth or Brahman is possible only when the seeker inquires into the nature
of the mind. The Mind is present in the form of universe and the universe appears as waking or dream.
Realization of
ultimate truth is possible only to the seeker who learns to view and judge the worldview(three states)
on the base of the soul , the innermost self.
All these experiences as father, son, guru, and pupil were
one and the same consciousness appearing differently. All these distinctions
disappear in the ultimate truth.
In dream the mountain which is apparently insentient and
material, is nevertheless still your mind alone. Whether living or dead,
conscious or unconscious thought or matter; all things are appearances of one
and the same consciousness. All these distinctions are seen by Gnani as only the
consciousness.
The
words are used only communication purpose. The look of an object will depend
upon the medium through which the observer views it. In fact, our mental and intellectual
conditions will determine the phenomenal world observed and experienced. The ignorant viewing the world confronting
him sees it different from a Gnani viewing the same world.
Each one of us
interprets the world one sees in terms of his existing knowledge. A Gnani sees
world and its contents as the illusory play as consciousness whereas ignorant
sees the world and its contents as reality.
Without
realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman man remains as ignorant of the
ultimate truth or Brahman. Without realization of ultimate truth, the seeker
remains as seeker. On
physical plan there is seeker, seeking and destination but from ultimate
standpoint there is neither seer, seeking and or destination.
The
words may give different meaning at different level of understanding. As one
moves deeper and deeper one realizes the thought, thinker, words and the world
are one in essence. Thus in the realm of truth the thought and words become
meaningless.
When one
who has realized that which lies beyond form, time and space does not give
impotence to thoughts and words which has value only in falsehood.
World is both real and unreal. It is
real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the
sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.
Peoples approach is more practical,
and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why
all the confusion.
