Without knowing the
nature of the world, it is impossible to know truth. It is of no use of trying
to find the truth before one understands the world. The world which confronts one
is consciousness itself because the body and the world are created out of consciousness."
If one does not make his induction from facts from
the world before him, the world of the five senses, he is only drawing on his
imaginations. Then he says “The ‘Self’ is like this, or like that." but it will
be only his imagination within the waking experience.
First seeker must inquire into the nature of the physical
body i.e. matter. Second he must inquire into the nature of the mind
Jesus said:- "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)
Jesus said:- "Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you. (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)
It means one has to know the world which confronts him confronts
to realize his body and world are made of the same essence and that essence is
Spirit [father].
Sage Sri, Sankara said:- one must first know what is before him. If he
cannot know that, what else can he know or understand? If he gives up the
external world in his inquiry, he cannot get the whole truth.
Sage Sri, Sankara said:- VC -63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and
without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the
mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of
speech.
"Jesus said:-"Those who seek should not
stop seeking until they find. When they find, they will be disturbed. When they
are disturbed, they will marvel, and will reign over all." (Gospel of Thomas
2)
"The
Kingdom of God is inside you and all around you, Not in a mansion of wood and
stone. Split a piece of wood and God is
there, Lift a stone and you will find God." (Gospel of Thomas)
The truth has to be
proved without the scriptural authorities. The scriptural authorities cannot be
accepted as proof until it is verified thoroughly in pursuit of truth. Intellectually knowing the
truth is only an imagination, whereas realizing the truth knows it as such.
Truth is not only that which is
beyond contradiction, but also that in which is no possibility of
contradiction. Such a state can only be realized as non-duality, where there
are no second thing. The illustration for that is deep sleep but sleep is not
the ultimate reality. It is merely an analogy. "If one think there is
another entity whether man or God there is no truth." This is the truth of
those who have inquired and reasoned on the true base.
