The illusion is present in the form of :~ ++****

The illusion is present in the form of:~
  • The ego, body,  and the world
  •
  • The Form,  the time and space
  •
  • The Birth, the  life and the  death
  •
  • The Pain and  the pleasure,
  •
  • The Burden and  the bondage
  •
  • The  Waking,  the dream, and the  deep sleep
  •
  • The Universe or the mind  or the duality
The Illusion is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is the formless soul. The Soul is in the form of consciousness. Because of ignorance, illusion is experienced as a reality. Illusory reality deludes because it is based on the egocentricity. In egocentricity one is unaware of the ultimate truth and he permanently remains in ignorance experiences the illusion as a  reality.: ~ Santthosh Kumaar

  • Jesse BrittenIllusion is also Brahman/Atman?by recognizing the illusion as the formless Soul/consciousness one is freed from illusion?

  • Jesse Britten: By recognizing our innermost mind that is present in the three states to be the source of the three states one becomes familiar with the experience of the three states as consciousness? I am hoping I understand.

  • Santthosh Kumaar The illusion is created out of the Atman which is present in the form if the consciousness. Thus, there is no second thing exists other than the consciousness. Thus, the Atman or consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

  • Santthosh Kumaar:  By realizing the formless substance and the witness and the source of the three states, are one in essence, and that essence is the soul or the consciousness leads to Advaitic awareness.

  • Jesse Britten Thank you

  • Jesse Britten Emptiness and emptiness?

  • Jesse Britten Sorry not sure of that makes sense. The highest state of the mind Atman and illusion/Atman are the same?

  • Santthosh Kumaar The illusion and Atman are one in essence. There is no illusion from the standpoint of the Atman. The Atman alone exists. Thus, Atman is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

  • Santthosh KumaarThe ultimate truth or Brahman dwells within the three states like fragrance in the flower; Musk lies within the Musk-deer yet seeks it afar." Until one trace the truth within the three states the illusion of birth, life, death and the world is experienced as reality.

  • Jesse Britten Thanks for your patience and guidance Mr. Kumaar.

The Kingdom of God is hidden by the Self and all around the Self.+

Jesus said: ~ Know what is in front of your face, and what is hidden from you will be disclosed to you.  (THE GOSPEL OF THOMAS- Saying 5)

"The Kingdom of God is hidden by the  Self and all-around Self, Not in a mansion of wood and stone.  Split a piece of wood and God is there, Lift a stone and you will find God." (Gospel of Thomas)

Kabir views humanity as being caught up in the illusion, searching for Ultimate Reality in all the wrong places, always seeking It outside of ourselves in various rituals, temples, forests, and mountaintops, not realizing That for which we seek is already hidden within us.

The ultimate truth or Brahman (God) dwells within the three states like fragrance in the flower; Musk lies within the Musk deer yet seeks it afar." Until one traces the truth within the three states the illusion of birth, life, death, and the world are experienced as reality.
The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara says: ~ VC-63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Remember:~
The very purpose of analyzing the world confronts one, is to realize the fact that, the form, time, and space are merely an illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Thus, to enable one to judge the ‘what is what’ from the highest viewpoint
People fail to make this analysis, as with so many religious, yogic, and intellectually minded seekers fail to realize the ultimate truth or Brahman because their judgment is based on the waking entity (ego), which is the false self within the false experience.
One must be receptive and sharp enough to grasp the existence of formless witness which is ever apart from the three states
The Soul is the formless substance and the witness of the three states. If the formless witness,  witnesses the waking experience and its attention are fixed to the waking experience then the waking experience is experienced as reality.
If the formless witness, witnesses the dream and its attention are fixed to the dream then the dream is experienced as reality.
If the attention of the Soul is on itself then it is called deep sleep in waking experience, which is the state of ignorance.
If the Soul consciously remains in its formless non-dual true nature in the midst of the waking experience through wisdom it is called Self-awareness.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sri, Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, concept of God and scriptures.++****.

Bhagavad Buddha said: ~ Buddha's nature is not a man, but a state. I have found the way. Enter all of you!

Self-knowledge cannot be attained by the study of the scriptures and intellectual understanding or by bookish knowledge.  Therefore, there is no use of studying the scriptures and other scriptures in order to acquire the non-dual wisdom.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha rejected the scriptures, and even Sage Sri, Sankara indicated that the ultimate truth lies beyond religion, the concept of God, and scriptures.

There is only one Reality to be known, the same for all seekers, but the ways to it, are hidden by the religion.  Self-discovery is the only way, towards non-dualistic absolute without any religious doctrines, which will help the seekers to unfold the mystery of the illusion in which we all are searching the truth of our true existence.

An essential identity between Atman and Brahman is upheld in Advaita Vedanta. The personality of Sage Sri, Sankara, and the force of Advaita wisdom is so strong that most post-Sage Sankarian schools of Vedanta consciously define their doctrines against Advaita thought.
When Sage Sri, Sankara declares Atman and Brahman, then the direct realization of truth is possible without the scriptures. Know the soul to be the true self. The soul, the innermost self is present in the form of consciousness. And realize the consciousness as the ultimate truth or Brahman.
Self-Knowledge is the aim of every human being. Since everyone thinks the physical body is the self their aim is misdirected and they focus their attention on materiality which makes one feel the duality (waking) as a reality.
Therefore, there is no need to study the scriptures, or indulge in god and guru glorification or performing religious rituals. Since they are not the means to acquire non-dual wisdom. It is only a waste of time and effort to indulge in those things.
That is why Sage Sri Sankara says:~ VC~59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures, consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence,  men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.
61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?
62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.
63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Advaita (non-duality) and Dwaita (duality) is a state of the Self. It is not some intellectual theory. The Orthodox Advaitins believe the Atman (Soul) is Brahman, and the world is an illusion.

The Orthodox Dwaitins believes the body as self, and they believe the world is a reality, and they believe in creator and creation theory. In India Advaita and Dwaita is mere a religious tradition, which they inherited from their ancestors. No one questions their validity because it is considered blasphemy to question any guru and god-men or pundits.
People who are attached to their religious code of conduct and trying to preach Advaita, that is mixing the individual life, and the concept of God, and all mixed up hotchpotch religious doctrine and feed the seeking minds, are themselves not aware of the fact that the individuality  and the worldly life is part of the illusion and it is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman

Bhagavan Buddha must have verified religion, the Vedas, and the concept of God and found them inadequate and useless in the pursuit of truth and rejected them.
Bhagavan Buddha got enlightened without the aid of the religion, the Vedas, and the concept of God.
After studying and going through all the rigorous training from the religious scholars in Theosophical Society, J.K was confused about all these, and when he started verifying with deeper introspection, he found everything was priest-crafted hotchpotch ideologies. Thus, he refused to become the world guru, rejected it, and walked out and condemned the priestcraft.:~Santthosh Kumaar
