The value of Self –Knowledge isn’t to be found in books

The value of Self –Knowledge isn’t to be found in books. Those are just the external appearances of self; they're not the realization of “Self” as proof. If one realizes the “Self” he realizes the formless substance of the mind and he sees the truth in it. When the truth becomes apparent it cuts off the stream of delusion. Their writings are pointers to truth, not truth-in-itself. That's why merely believing in their books is pointless.

If god is within the body then he is responsible for every action which is good or evil

If god is within the body then he is responsible for every action which is good or evil. If god is God is present within in our hearts then His laws are binding on the physical conducts to which he owns the authorship.
Until and unless one is aware of the fact that, true self is the soul/spirit, he is bound to believe in the conceptual idea of god propagated by the organized religion. Until atheists hold in their no god theory and hold the physical existence is real, without verifying the fact about the true existence they will remain in ignorance of the true self, which is formless not the form. The atheistic theories also are also based on the false physical self. Thus, whatever is based on the physical self is bound to be falsehood.
It requires accepting the fact that that the three states cannot exist without soul, which is the true self
Self- realization is not for those who are so deep in denial they are unlikely to understand and assimilate the self-knowledge.

Belief in God prevents one from understanding and assimilating the Self-Knowledge

Faith is a main pillar in religion. This entails treating not only doubt and skepticism as enemies, but also nonbelievers asking critical questions, offering reasons to doubt the reliability of religious claims.

This attitude towards doubt may be an important reason why nonbelievers and skeptics are so reviled by conservative believers, the mere existence of nonbelievers is a threat because they demonstrate anyone can live and even thrive without religion and faith in any gods.

Whatever benefits religion might confer individually, when directed towards universal brotherhood it is ultimately divisive and destructive. However, that religion is a vital force for public morality and ethical action in many ways and also has become cause of concern because there is lots of violence and wars is going on in the name of religion and god.

Truth is not a matter of religion, or no religion. Truth is a matter of the true existence. Only truth will set free one from experiencing the duality as reality. Without the truth the believers and nonbelievers argument will go on and on and there is no end to it.

It is wrong to say one cannot "sustain goodness without belief of God," but nonbelievers who reject belief of gods can still be good and have "noble character" without the belief of God. Belief in God prevents one from understanding and assimilating the Self-Knowledge, because it makes him believe he is an individual separate from the world.

The god cannot exist without a man. Thus, man has to exist before any god can exist. Thus, it is impossible for god to exist without the man. Therefore, god is dependent on man for his existence. Thus it is necessary to know how man is able to exist and perceive the world to unfold this mystery. Clinging to irreligion is of no more use than clinging to religion.

Non-dual truth is awareness of the true self

It is crucial to understand what non-dual truth is. It is not yoga, and it's not some rituals or mantras. Pursuit of truth is the being aware of the fact that, soul/ spirit is the true self, and learn to view and judge the three states on the standpoint of the soul as self.

Non-dual truth is awareness of the true self. The witness of the three states that appear and disappear in succession is not the physical self but the soul/spirit. Thus the soul is the formless substance and witness of all the three states. This isn't easy to assimilate since one is conditioned to view the three states on the standpoint of waking entity. The waking entity is present only in waking experience and it is absent in dream and deep sleep. Therefore, one which witnesses the three states is not the waking entity, but the formless substance of the three states. This has to be mentally grasped by constantly reflecting on the subject to realize the object is mere mirage.

If one is seeking after non-dual truth, he should investigate things in such a way that his consciousness as he investigate is not distracted by what he find, or diffused and scattered; neither is it fixed and set.
The drop and the ocean have been related since ancient times. Likewise, the body and the universe have been deemed to be related. In simple language one can use the terms man and the world [waking/dream]. The latter is a totality comprising not only man but also other beings and material objects within the world.

Every man is related to the world. In order to understand a single individual the whole world will have to be understood and vice versa.

Man and his experience of the world exist within the waking or dream. Man and his experience of the world internally related and interactive that one cannot be interpreted without the other.

Even if an atom is to be understood, the whole world will have to be understood. The one, who knows the true self is the soul/spirit, knows the diversity is mere mirage. And one, who knows the appearance is mere mirage, knows every thing in diversity is spirit. Nothing one can be known without the soul, which is the true self.

In waking or dream all appear separate, but in substance all are one. Self/soul alone is real, the three states are unreal.

The value of Self –Knowledge is not to be found in books.

Many people think and discuss of the authors of the books or gurus. As seekers of truth one has to know where the author or guru has got stuck in assimilating the self-knowledge for once own research. There is no need to criticize authors and gurus. A realized mind becomes aware how far they have reached in their understanding and realization of the non-dual truth.

The value of Self –Knowledge is not to be found in books. Those are just the external appearances of self; they're not the realization of “Self” as proof. If one realizes the “Self” then he realizes the formless substance of the mind, and he sees the truth in it. When the truth becomes apparent then it cuts off the stream of delusion. Their writings are pointers to truth, not truth-in-itself. That's why merely believing in their books is pointless.

People judge others by their own limited understanding. Their understanding is limited to physicality /intellectuality.

When one go deeper and deeper reasoning to all the Advitic writing, it reveals the fact that, their understanding is based on intellectuality, and it never takes one to finality. But the seeker of truth is on his own and he has to realize the fact that, someone’s cooked food may be tasty but when he learns to cook on his own he will be able to grasp the truth on his own.

Intellectual judgments will always haunts with doubts and debate fastened to their tails, if not denials. Direct spiritual perception alone free and lone conveys complete certitude. The reason based on the soul as self, frees one from physical based logic and theories.

Until one knows the truth one goes on inquiring and reasoning. One, who thinks the physical self as true self and the experience of the world as reality, will not indulge in pursuit of truth. He accepts the duality as reality and experiences the birth, life and death as reality. When the birth entity is accepted as self then whatever is seen, known, believed and experienced on the base of birth entity accepted as reality. On the base of birth entity the body, world and belief of god seems to be real.

The realization of truth is not intellectual understanding but Self- Realization is about realizing the fact that, the physical self is not the self, but the self is the formless soul/spirit. Intellectual and logical / analytical perspective is based on the false self, will not help the seeker to reach his non-dual destination. The truth is beyond intellectual understanding and only the serious seekers who are free from preconceived accumulated ideas can get there.

The seeker of truth moves a head by verifying the facts and by removing all the obstacles and reaches his non-dual destination.

As the conviction of formless witness of the three states grows stronger and firmer, the moment of sense of ‘I’ becomes weaker and finally it totally disappears. When there is no sense of ‘I’ in the midst of experience of duality, one will realize the fact that the seer [formless witness] and the seen [three states] are one in essence. Hence there is no second thing other then the formless witness, which is in the form of spirit. Thus, one has to drop all the accumulation and meanings of the things within the duality, which loses all its meaning in the realm of "non-dual self".
