All the Gurus glorified the ‘I’. Thus, it becomes very difficult to discard the ‘I’.+*****

All the Gurus glorified the ‘I’. Thus, it becomes very difficult to discard the ‘I’. Those who have accepted the ‘I’ based teaching refuse to accept anything other than their accepted truth.

Bhagvad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

Till you hold the ‘Self’ as the ‘I’, your knowledge remains skin deep.

What is it that appears as the ‘I’ and disappears as the ‘I-less? It is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not make the mistake of holding the ‘I’ as the Self because it is not permanent. ‘I’ disappears and becomes ‘I’-less.

‘I’ is an illusion and the ‘I-LESS’ is real and eternal. The ‘I-LESS ‘appears as ‘I’ and ‘I ’‘disappears as I-LESS.

The ‘I’ is not a thought.  The ‘I’ is the mind. The mind is the whole universe.  The universe appears as waking or dream (duality and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).  The one that appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality) is the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness pervades everything and everywhere in all three states.

Without knowing what mind is, it is impossible to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.  People think the mind is within the body, but deeper self-search reveals the fact that the world in which you exist itself is the mind.

When the ‘I’ is there then only the mind is there. If the mind is there then only the universe is there. If the universe is there then only the waking is there.  Thus, it is very much necessary to realize the ‘what ‘I’ is in actuality.  Without knowing ‘what is this ‘I’ it is impossible to realize the ‘I-less’ truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Remember:~

The ‘I’ hides the truth of the Soul, the Self. The realization of ultimate truth or Brahman is possible only when the seeker inquiries into the nature of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the Mind.   The Mind is present in the form of the universe and the universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality). The one which appears as the duality and disappears as nonduality is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Do not try to know who you are? By enquiring ‘Who am ‘I’,   you will never reach the ultimate end of understanding. ‘Who am ‘I’? is only helpful in the beginning on later stages it is inadequate to realize the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

Try to find out what is this ‘I’ which appears and disappears. What is it that knows this appearance and disappearance of the ‘I’?

Bhagavad Gita: ~ The permanent is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)

That is why Ashtavakra Gita 16:10:~ If you desire liberation, but you still say "I" If you feel the ‘Self’ is the ‘I’, You are not a wise man or a seeker. You are simply a man who suffers.

To understand the false nature of the ‘I’, the Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is necessary.

The Self is not ‘I’, but the Self is the Soul which is the witness of the ‘I’. By holding the’ Self’  ‘I' leads to hallucination based on the imagination.

Those who are stuck with the ‘I’ based teaching never be able to cross the domain of the form, time and space.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sri, Goudapada’s:~ Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.+*****

Sage Sri, Goudapada’s rational exposition of Advaita:~  Whatever is seen, whether external or internal, whether by the ordinary persons or yogis, is unreal.

Whatever takes form as the duality is false. Only the nondual consciousness endures. When you understand the truth, beyond the form, time and space, the duality will never be a reality again. For the consciousness is infinite, within and without, like a mirror, and the image in a mirror.  The consciousness is everywhere, filling all things and flowing through the dualistic illusion forever.
The consciousness is like a lamp which lights up a theatre and reveals both a dancer and a stage.
Ignorance is the cause of experiencing the world as a reality.  The world in which we exist is a dualistic illusion.   The ‘self is hidden within the dualistic illusion and it is without the dualistic illusion.
The mystic must become a constant slave to some line of "thought" or rather an imagination, and then he will really see visions confirming his imaginations.

The mystic who sees God in vision has seen Him during the waking state. The waking experience itself an illusion. Thus, whatever seen within the illusion is bound to be an illusion. Thus, it is necessary for the mystic to realize his existence is a reality within the illusion.  Whatever belief of God one is familiar with through his inherited conditioning or samskara that he will see in his visions.  When a man is a false self (ego)  within the false experience (waking), then whatever he believes is bound to be a falsehood.
God is the Soul, the  Self.  The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. God is not within you, but you and your experience of the world are within God.  Self-realization is God-realization because the Soul the innermost Self itself is God.  When you and your experience of the world disappear, then God alone prevails as formless, timeless and spaceless existence.

Remember:~
No duality, no differentiation. Only Atman exists. Let us see in the words of Lord Krishna:
Bhagvad Gita: 4: 22: ~ ".....who has gone beyond the conflicting dualities like good (happiness) and bad (sorrow)....."
Bhagavad Gita: 4: 42:~ ".....cut all such conflicting dualities (doubts) by the sword (weapon) of knowledge. ....."
Bhagavad Gita: 5: 18:~The learned men (who have come out of delusions (Māyā), got rid of Avidya) see no differentiation have equal vision for a revered Brahmin, a cow, an elephant, a dog and a cāndāla (outcaste, rogue, mleccha, demonic person, etc)"
Bhagvad Gita: 5: 19:~ "Those who have achieved the true knowledge i.e. the 'Self-Knowledge' or the 'knowledge of Atman' and see no difference, are free from conflicting dualities have merged in Brahman"
Bhagvad Gita: 5: 20:~ "One who does not get excited out of happiness on getting good and does not get depressed on getting bad is situated in Brahman i.e. is merged in Brahman"
Bhagavad Gita: 6: 9:~  "The one who has equal vision for a Selfless do-gooder, a friend, a foe, an unbiased, a well-wisher, a depressed and jealous man, relatives, a righteous and a sinner is the best (as he sees no duality and differentiation but sees everything as Ātman)"
Bhagavad Gita: 6: 32:~ “.....as one seeks and treats oneself with equal vision, the same way one who has equal vision for good and evil, for everybody, is the best of all"
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 8: ~ "For whom soil, a pebble, and gold are alike, he is merged in Brahman"
Bhagvad Gita Gita: 7: 27:~ ".....people are getting entangled in the primordial ignorance (Avidya) of the conflicting dualities like good and evil, happiness and sorrow caused due to attachments, desires, and hatred....."
Bhagvad Gita: 6: 28:~ “.....who have cut-off conflicting dualities (like good and evil) is determinedly in my service. ...."
Bhagvad Gita: 7: 19:~ "Such a man who has attained true knowledge, the knowledge of Self, the knowledge of Atman, in the last birth in the series of many births worships Me as~ Atman alone exists~ everything is Atman, there exists nothing except Atman. Such a man is extremely rare"
Think deeply, reason deeply then only you will be able to realize ‘what is what’. Without realizing ‘what is what’ you will never be able to realize ‘what is the truth and ‘what is untruth’? : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavan Buddha:~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.+*****

Swami Vivekananda: ~Jñāna Yoga is divided into three parts. First: hearing the truth ~ that the Atman is the only reality and that everything else is Maya. Second: reasoning upon this philosophy from all points of view. Third: giving up all further argumentation and realizing the truth. This realization comes from being certain that Brahman is real and everything else is unreal

Everyone’s inner work is on. Until a man is ripe to receive Self-knowledge, he will not be able to understand what I am saying.

Even they may find it difficult in the first as they go on reading and reflecting repeatedly the post their subconscious will start dropping the dualistic egocentric knowledge and start accepting the Soul-centric Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Grasping the truth depends on the spiritual maturity of the seeker. My mission is sharing the knowledge by inspires the serious and sincere seekers of truth and divert their attention towards the inward reality.

As their urge is at the seed level and As they go on reading the words of wisdom it will start growing.

It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is the truth’ and ‘’what is untruth’. It takes time for the Soul, the innermost Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one realizes the truth, which is beyond the form, time and space.

Bhagavan Buddha:~  There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting
Self-Realization is the direct realization of the ultimate truth, in contrast with traditional paths, which are indirect. And the other paths cannot lead to the ultimate destination because they are based on the false Self, which they hold as real Self and false experience as reality.
Until and unless one overcomes physical shackle it is impossible to understand and assimilate the nondual truth, which is beyond the physical existence or the universe. The Consciousness itself is Lord of itself though not of the universe. And having nothing it has all.
Seeker of truth has to take the direct path and avoid losing precious time and effort losing himself in philosophical studies.

The seeker has to have the courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth because most people will not be able to subscribe to the path of truth because they sentimentally and emotionally involved with their inherited belief system and even if one does he has to overcome all his doubts confusion and despair. These are the problem for the seekers who are from the religious background because of their conditioning and they are made to accept their blind belief as truth and their interest or insight is not deep. Thus all my blogs are useful to analyse these problems because they highlight what is not the truth according to their own religious scriptures and make them accept the truth, and reject all the false conditioning and move ahead in pursuit of truth.

It becomes difficult for the orthodox cult to accept anything else as truth other than their accepted belief, which they hold as truth. Although all religious followers are participants alike in the spiritual endeavour of the world, overzealous flowers of each religion are not prepared to accord equal status to other faiths and assert the superiority of their own. Thus, the universal brotherhood is a total impossibility because it is difficult to accept anything other than their inherited belief system. Inter-religious harmony or understanding has become an impossibility.:~Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sri Sankara: ~ The highest beatitude is not to be attained by Yoga.+*****

The path of religion, the path of yoga and the path of wisdom were intended for different classes of people. The wisdom is for the advanced seekers of truth. It deals with the nature of the ultimate Truth and Reality. It is meant for superior aspirants who have inner urge to know the truth which is beyond the form, time and space.
What is the use of practicing Samadhi within the dualistic illusion?  Samadhi belongs to the yogic path.

Sage Sri Sankara says: ~ Yoga is not the means of liberation (page 132-133 - Commentary on Brihadaranyakopanishad.

In Sutra Bashya and Mandukya:~ The Samadhi and sleep are identical.

Brihad Upanishad:~   does not advocate Samadhi.

Sage Sri Sankara (in the  commentary to "Brahma Sutras):~ " "The highest beatitude is not to be attained by Yoga." (Sacred Books of East Series page 298 Vol.1.)   And he also says Samadhi is the same as sleep (p.312)

~ this indicates that yoga is not the means to Self-realization.  And yogic Samadhi is not nondualistic  Self-awareness’s.

Panchadasi, P.509 v, 109, shows the impossibility of yoga arriving at a successful end to its practices.

The ‘Self-realization through yoga is not philosophic. Every yogi who shuts himself in a cave is not thereby freed from thinking.

Yoga can lead only to temporary peace because the world is subject to change. Only self- knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana can yield Advaitic awareness in the midst of the form, time and space.
Sage Patanjali takes for granted that there is an Iswara (God) gives it for the purpose of concentration, and then naturally people find God in their meditations. But it is only their imagined God.
Mystics see what they are looking for or that whose existence they presuppose. Therefore, Patanjali Yoga belongs to religion, not to the ultimate truth or Brahman.
No one has proved that the existence of individualized God. Such an individual Gods are available in the domain of duality. From the ultimate standpoint, the duality is not reality. The personal experience which is not universally valid is no proof, neither is ecstatic feeling.
If one claims that God is doing this or that, or has such and such qualities, he is hallucinating with his inherited belief. He did not see God doing it? He is simply assuming.
God is only a settled fact for believers, but for others God’s existence is problematic. Without the belief, the God of belief ceases to exist. When the world in which we exist itself is an illusion then whatever we have seen known, believed and experienced within the illusory world is bound to be an illusion.
The truth of Organized Religion can only be proved by physical strength or by imagination, or power of the weapon or power and force, never by reason.
Scientists yet to discover the mysteries beyond, They may discover something in the future.” The mystics claim to know mystery unknown to science is known to them. Without proof, it is foolish to believe Mysticism is the fulfillment of science.” Yogic or religious truth is individual truth, not the universal truth.
The mystics cannot claim that they have experienced God. there is no proof they have seen it because God is not an individual experience. The man and the world are within God. God is the formless, timeless and spaceless existence. God is the cause of the universe God is causeless.
If they say, “they know from experience” they merely assume so.” mystics experience is based on ego thus, it is part of the illusion. Self-realization is not an individual experience. The yoga and mysticism are individualized truth. Since they consider the ‘I’ as the Self they cannot know the Soul, the innermost Self. The Soul is the fullness of consciousness. :~Santthosh Kumaar

Rig Veda says God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of the real God.+*****

God is not physical. God is present in the form of the Spirit. The Spirit is the cause of the world and the Spirit itself is uncaused.

On the standpoint of the Spirit, the form, time, space and name are merely an illusion. The spirit alone is real and all else is an illusion.  In reality, the spirit (God) matter (the world in which we exist) are one.
The Bhagavad Gita: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit), which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness (Spirit) which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~Those who know me in truth.". The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

The dualistic worship of "God” is only for the ignorant populace. The God in truth is only Atman, the innermost Self.   In reality,  there is no dualitY, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

The Vedas confirms God is Atman (Spirit), the Self.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman the innermost self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

Rig-Veda 1-164-46 and Y.V 32-1 clearly mention that God is “One”.

Rig Veda declares God is ‘ONE’ and God is Atman, then why believe and worship in place of the real God.

Brihad Upanishad: ~ “If you think there is another entity, whether man or God there is no truth."

When Upanishad itself says: ~   Sarvam khalvidam brahma ~ all this (universe) is verily Brahman. By following back all of the relative appearances in the world, we eventually return to that from which it is all manifest – the non-dual reality (Chandogya Upanishad).

Sage Sri, Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God) is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other beside it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is not a distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just Its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman of Sage Sri, Sankara is impersonal.

Sage Sri, Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman  (God).

Thus, truth realization is Self-realization. Self-realization is God-realization.  God-realization itself is real worship. :~Santthosh Kumaar
