The value of Self –Knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana isn’t to be found in books.

Many people think and discuss on the authors of the books or gurus. As seekers of truth one has to know where the author or guru has got stuck in assimilating the self-knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana for their own research. There is no need to criticize authors and gurus. If one bases his reasoning on the soul as self he will know how far they have reached in their understanding and assimilation of the non-dual truth.
The value of Self –Knowledge of Self –Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana  isn’t to be found in books. Those are just the external appearances of self; they're not the realization of “Self” as proof. If one realizes the “Self” then he realizes the formless substance of the mind, and he sees the truth in it. When the truth becomes apparent then it cuts off the stream of delusion. Their writings are pointers to truth, not truth-in-itself. That's why merely believing in their books is pointless.
People judge others by their own limited understanding.  Their understanding is limited to physicality /intellectuality.  They simply indulge in endless argument on their own point of view.
When one go deeper and deeper reasoning to all the non-dual writing, it reveals the fact that, their understanding is based on intellectuality, and it never takes one to finality.  The seeker of truth is on his own and he has to realize the fact that, someone’s cooked food may be tasty but when he learns to cook on his own he will be able to grasp the truth on his own.
Intellectual judgments will always haunts with doubts and debate fastened to their tails, if not denials.  Direct spiritual perception alone free and lone conveys complete certitude.  The reason based on the soul as self, frees one from physical based logic and theories.
Until one knows the ultimate truth is non-dual, one keeps on inquiring and   reasoning.  One, who thinks the self is physical and the experience of the world as reality, should not indulge in pursuit of truth. He accepts the duality as reality and experiences the birth, life and death as reality.  When the birth entity is accepted as self, then whatever is seen, known, believed and experienced on the base of birth entity accepted as reality. On the base of birth entity, the body, world and belief of god seems to be real.
The guru is necessary for religion and yoga.  Path of truth is a personal path and path of verification. But in religion and yoga the verification is not allowed. Blind faith is main ingredient in belief system and yoga.   Gurudom is playing with words because maybe the meaning is floating somewhere in between the spaces of words...
People who think themselves to be in a position to air their knowledge forget one basic fact, namely that they go by mere appearances. Someone expounds knowledge and the one who receives it begins to ape the person from whom he has received the knowledge.  They never question the validity of that knowledge.
Thus, whatever the guru wears, he will wear; whatever mannerisms the guru affects, he will imitate.  Thus, they only learn to pretend. And all so-called accumulated knowledge" is mere speculation based on the physical self/ego. This is how tradition became established and traditional forms of worship come into being and passed it on the one generation to the next.  All these have nothing to do with the Self- Knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.
Whatever One has heard, whatever he has been told, will have no value as far as the ultimate point of view. Whether one accepts the fact that the only knowledge that he u really has is the knowledge that he exists, that is consciousness. Other than that, whatever knowledge he thinks he has as a person, is part of the illusion, something acquired, based on the illusory consciousness.
The realization of truth is not intellectual understanding. Self- Realization is about realizing the fact that, the self is not physical, but it is the formless soul or consciousness or spirit.  Intellectual and logical /analytical perspective is based on the false self, will not help the seeker to reach his non-dual destination. The truth is beyond intellectual understanding and only the serious seekers who are free from preconceived accumulated ideas can get there.
The seeker of truth moves a head by verifying the facts and by removing all the obstacles and reaches his non-dual destination.
As the conviction of formless substance and witness grows stronger and firmer, the illusion looses its luster and becomes one with the stuff it is made out of.

Ultimate Truth cannot be found in Books.

Since the seed does not contain anything other than the seed, even the flowers and the fruits are of the same nature as the seed: the substance of the seed is the substance of subsequent effects, too. Even so, the three states do not give rise to anything other than what it is in essence. When this truth is realized, duality ceases.

He who knows the fact that, the soul as the true Self , breaks through the belief that, the self is the body and the world as reality. Such seeker  is united with the soul, which is ultimate truth. The one who thinks he is born in this world and the world existed prior to him will not be able to grasp and realize the non-dual truth.

Through rectified the reasoning base from form to formless, one will reach the state of unity from experience of diversity.

Ultimate Truth cannot be found in Books. Ultimate can be only found  through soul-centric reasoning. People are gradually realizing the fact that, the belief system is not the means to Self-Realization but it is an obstacle in realizing the ultimate truth of Brahman. Many Spiritual seekers are now more curious about Realization of Truth but unfortunately they throng to Books, Not to inquire.

Many sounds a strong convictioned and their knowledge is based only on Books and others opinions. They support their arguments with References from philosophical books or scriptures or so-called wise-men without any verification.   Just Remember for every strong argument there will be a counter argument.  The truth is always based on the formless; therefore what is the use of arguing on the base of the  form, which is the cause of ignorance. In ignorance one ignores the Truth itself.

Those who get involved in Theological debates, which are based on the form as self, will get only hallucinated realization based on speculation.

Truth has to be proved right here and right now

There is no need of scriptures or guru  in pursuit of truth.  The soul, the innermost self  is the real guru. There is no need wasting  your  money or time to search for the truth. accepting anyone as guru or accepting your self as someone's disciple is the greatest obstacle in pursuit of truth.   The non-dual  truth will be reveled  only when the seeker drops the accumulated dross.  Seeker of truth  has to have the courage to reject religious ideas ,God and guru  glorification and Scriptures to become receptive to non dual  truth.

When the ultimate truth is rightly known and one attains eternal life thereby. Through soul, the innermost self he gains strength and through its knowledge immortality.

Not by intellectual   speculation but only by an awakening to the reality of his true existence he gets soul-centric vision. Soul, the innermost self’s nature is like state of deep sleep.

Religion, yoga and intellectualism are not the means to acquire self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.  Without getting rid of the ignorance and trying to get self-awareness through religion and yoga is like a sleeping man trying to know what he is about, without waking up. As sleep is to waking, so is ordinary life to the state of realization.

The one who identifies himself as swami, guru or yogi is not a Gnani. A Gnani never identifies himself as swami, guru, pundit or yogi. Swami, guru, pundit or yogi belongs to religious and yogic path not to path of truth or wisdom.

Swami Vivekananda said: - “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.”

Sri, Sankara's commentary:-

Page 489: "The knower of Brahman (self-realized or Gnani) wears no signs.  Page 500 asks in effect "Tell us what you know, show it, and let us examine it under the mental microscope." It means we must bring notions and beliefs out of vagueness into clearness. It also criticizes the mystics who claim superior knowledge but who cannot communicate it for purposes of verification.

On page 482: On Gnani: "The knower of Brahman wears no signs. Gives up the insignia of a monk's life,…his signs are not manifest, nor his behavior."

Truth has to be proved right here(in this very life)  and right now(not in the  next life or in the  next world). Seeker of truth should not accept   anything blindly  without verifying through deeper inquiry.  Mental chewing is necessary by sound reasoning on the on the base of the soul, which is the true self. It takes time to learn to view and judge  the worldview on the base of the soul as self. If one is  serious in his pursuit it matters very little.   seeker should  not accept what  I say as truth, without verifying through deeper inquiry and reasoning. Think deeply  and reflect constantly , then only the inner revelation will start, and you will start getting answers from within and you will be able to move ahead in your inner journey.

When the self is not the body but formless consciousness then what the use of hearing the sound is, seeing light, feeling vibration in the spine.

MYSTICISM could lead to big trouble. MYSTICISM, for one thing, might result in endless rationalizations like "If I am god, then whatever I do is right," and so on. The result: More people justifying their violence in the name of god.  and it also  turns the people  into a sheepish mentality. The result: The duality or illusion  becomes reality.

In short, religion  builds a strong ego, though one may call it by different names, and also it destroys all freedom to reason. The path of  devotion, love keeps one in the grip of emotion  and emotion keeps one in the bondage of illusion.Illusion keep one in bondage of duality . duality keep one in bondage of ignorance.  ignorance makes one feel the experience of birth, life, death and the world reality.

The ego keeps one in the prison of burden and bondage.  The only way to resolve it is to understand the fact that the  ego is not the "Self" before plunging into pursuit of truth.

For an inflated ego, Philosophy  merely acts as an opium, so the best thing to do would be realizing the  fact that, the ego is not the "self".   it is impossible  to destroy the ego because, ego is part of the illusion. The ignorance is the cause of the illusion. If one overcomes the   ignorance,  then  the wisdom dawns. When wisdom dawns the ego, body and the world becomes unreal on the standpoint of the true self , the innermost soul.    No philosophy  is essential in pursuit of truth  because, philosophies  are based on the ego or physical self.

Pursuit of truth  more important than all Philosophical  theories put together. So there is need to investigate the truth instead of arguing  about which philosophy is correct, why it  is flawed, or why  it is wrong and all that!

When the self is not the body but formless consciousness then what the use of hearing the sound is, seeing light, feeling vibration in the spine.  When body, sound, feeling, sight and ego and the world are made of single stuff, and that stuff is formless consciousness, which is the innermost self.

All these sound, light, vibration belongs to Yoga prescribed by the great yoga master Paramhansa Yogaananda [PY] and also in Radhaosomi.  I also used to get all that type of experience when I was practicing Yoga [PY] for many years. But all that body based practices did not satisfy my inner urge to the ultimate truth.

Experience belongs to individuality. And individuality is falsehood. There is neither individual nor his experience in reality.

Man and his experience of the world cannot exist without waking experience. Whatever we are discussing, we are discussing within the waking experience, which is mere illusion from ultimate standpoint.  Thus whatever is known, seen, believed and experienced as a person is bound to be falsehood.

The path of religion, path of yoga and path of wisdom is meant for different classes of people. Mixing up with one another is like mixing oil in water.
