Is
all of humanity either a guru or a fake guru? Playing with words
because maybe the meaning is floating somewhere in between the spaces of
 words...

People who think themselves to be in a position to
air their knowledge forget one basic fact, namely that they go by mere
appearances. Someone expounds knowledge and the one who receives it
begins to ape the person from whom he has received the knowledge. Thus,
whatever the teacher wears, he will wear; whatever mannerisms the
teacher affects, he will imitate. And the transfer of so-called
"knowledge" has been only of concepts. This is essentially how tradition
becomes established and tradition forms of worship come into being, all
of which has nothing to do with the basic knowledge.

 Whatever
you have heard, whatever you have been told, will have no value as far
as I am concerned. I want to know whether you accept the fact that the
only knowledge that you really have is the knowledge that you are, this
consciousness. Other than that, whatever knowledge you think you have,
is mere hearsay, something acquired, based on the illusory
consciousness. Is that so or is it not so?

Medicine by Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, p. 149 (chapter: "Eventually, You
Have to Give up this Association with the Consciousness")

In
mystical realization they call Self- realized person as Avatar. In
spiritualistic realization they call the self-realized person as Gnani. A
Gnani is the one, who is full aware of fact that, the self is not the
form but self is formless consciousness and he considers his body and
his experience of the world as a mirage created out of consciousness
[Atman].
And the consciousness [Atman] is ultimate truth [Brahman].
Ultimate truth itself is god. When the Ahum Brahmasmi is physicalized
it gives wrong interpretation – I AM Brahman. But ‘I AM ‘is not the
self. The self is the formless soul, which is in the form of
consciousness. Ahum Brahmasmi, = the Self [formless soul or
consciousness] is Brahman – that is Atman is Brahman. Thus it is wrong
to say ‘I AM’ Brahman because the self is not ‘I’ or ‘I AM’ but the self
is the witness of the ‘I’ or ‘I AM’.

Bliss
is the nondual nature of the self. The bliss is not an experience
because it exists only in reality. Thus one has to seek truth to know
'what is reality' and 'what is unreality '.

 When one becomes
aware of what is reality and realizes the fact that, the waking
experience is mere mirage created out of consciousness and consciousness
is real and eternal and mentally accepts the reality and he is in self
–awareness, which is non-dual bliss in the midst of duality.

A
gnani cannot be serious; there is nothing to be serious about. The
whole of life is fun; it is a play, a play of soul/consciousness.
Moreover, that is what deeper inquiry and reasoning reveals - that the
whole of life is a beautiful play of soul.

 The same soul is in
the trees, in the stars, in the rivers, in the mountains, in everyone,
in animals. It is the same soul dancing in different forms. Life means
soul's play.

How
can be a good doctor and use science best? It is very simple. Through
love. If you love your work you can do it with love, and anything that
is done with love has perfect results. ------- AVATAR MEHER BABA

People
say they should always watch their thoughts when it arises and remain
Empty. The thinker is the ego. Without the ego there is no thinker.
Until ego is there the thinker is bound to be there. Until thinker is
there the thought is bound to rise. Thus watching the thoughts will
not yield any fruits.

When one is aware of the fact that, the
thinker and his thoughts are part of the illusion and the self is
neither thinker nor the thought but one which is aware of the thinker
and the thought together without the physical apparatus.

 When
the self is neither the ego nor the body how can one experience
anything which is exist prior to the experience of form, time and space.

The mind becomes still only when one becomes aware of the
fact that, the form, time and space are one in essence. When one
realizes form, time and space are one in essence then the self is in its
own awareness of its formless nondual nature. When the self [Atma n
or consciousness] is in its own awareness the mind becomes till without
the thinker and without the thoughts in the midst of diversity.

What does spirituality mean?
Spirituality is man’s relation to soul/spirit, nothing else. It is not
about religion, it is not dogma. The soul is one divine force pervading
all the three states and a direct relation to that soul is what it is
all about, beyond any duality.
Things that are impossible for man
are possible with soul. There is no doubt about it. Moreover, even
though one never sees the soul, he knows it always is with him.

Once the quest starts, one begins to understand that there are things
beyond the physical life, and he begins to exploring spiritual realms.
People think themselves, over time; by reading countless books on all
religions and philosophies of the world, they will acquire
self-knowledge. However, it is not so ‘A wise person should glean
knowledge from inquiry and reasoning on the base of the soul as self and
assimilate it. Just like honey bee collects nectar from all flowers,
big or small’. Seeker of truth must think that he is that bee.

There is no such thing as permanent happiness in the experience of
duality [waking or dream]. Joy and sorrow are part of the illusion and
are so intertwined.

Upanishad
says Atman the innermost self is known by Reason alone, by sharpened
and purified intellect. Still people worship Yoga and mysticism as the
sole means of attaining Atman.

UPANISAD gives the highest sense of Sanyasin: "One who understands
Brahman and who knows it," whether or Brahmacharin, householders recluse
or Sanyasi ashrams, but ashrams are for discipline.
