The
problem is in grasping the ultimate truth. The soul is not limited to the individual,
but it pervades all the three states as its formless substance and
witness. Because one limits the soul or
consciousness to the individual physical entity, he will not be able to grasp
the truth.
The soul is in the form of consciousness. If the consciousness is there then the body and the world are present. The consciousness can exist with or without the body and the world. The body and the world are dependent on the consciousness for their existence. Thus the body and the world are mere mental, thus they are not real. One limits the consciousness the innermost self to the physical entity, he will remain thinking, and the soul carries on in some individual form to reincarnate.
When the body and the world are made of consciousness, there is second thing other than consciousness (Atman), hence it is non-dual. The body and the world are reality only on the standpoint of the false self (‘ego or waking entity’), within the false experience (waking). In reality, nothing exists other than the consciousness, which is the soul or consciousness. When the body, ego and the world are made of the same stuff than the division within the consciousness is mere illusion. The one which is in ignorance and that one which is aware is consciousness. When self is in ignorance it experiences the illusory waking experience as reality. When it is aware of itself then there is no illusion.
There is neither the individual nor individual life, nor the world, because the diversity is mere mirage .And mirage has no value in reality, thus nothing exists other than oneness. Deeper self –search takes one to realize the innermost self is consciousness, thus everything, one sees, knows, believes, and experiences are nothing but consciousness
That is why Sri,Sankara Said : Atman is Brahman – that is consciousness(soul)is —ultimate truth or Brahman. Therefore, all the appearance and disappearance (three states) are nothing but consciousness. Thus, no second thing exists other than consciousness (soul). Only when you get a firm conviction about this truth you will be able to explain to others. It is very difficult to convince those who are stuck to their own accepted truth.
Everything belongs to the soul, the innermost self. The three states are unreal and impermanent whether the five elements belong to duality. The duality is not reality.
The Self is not the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of mind. The mind is present in the form of the
universe. And universe appears as the waking or the dream and disappears as
deep sleep. The duality is present only
in waking or dream. The duality is absent in deep sleep. That is the duality is
present the non-duality is absent. The non-duality is the nature of the soul.
Therefore, the soul becomes mind. And mind becomes the soul. The soul and mind
are one in essence. That essence is the soul which is present in the form of
consciousness. The consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman. Whoever constantly contemplates on this truth
will realize Brahman or God or Christ or Buddha.

There is no such thing as cosmic laws. The laws belong to
duality and duality is not reality from the standpoint of the soul, the
innermost self. In reality matter and
spirit is same because matter is a mere illusion created out of spirit.
The matter is spirit.
Those who become aware this truth realize can realize Brahman right here (in
this very birth) right now (not in the
next world). The soul is unborn and incarnation of God as a human being is an
idea based on the false self within the false experience because the soul is
present in the form of consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in
all the three states.
