FORMLESS PATH -- FACEBOOK POSTINGS

  • Everything in nonduality refers to consciousness, because everything [three states] is created out of single stuff, which is formless soul or consciousness, the innermost self. On the standpoint of formless soul or consciousness there is nothing exists other then the soul. Thus everything, which is formless consciousness, is perfectly perfect.

People who view and judge on the standpoint of the physical self/ego will not understand this because they see diversity as reality. They think ‘I’ is self and body is illusion, whereas, the body and the ‘I’, both are part of the illusion.

They think whatever exists within the waking experience that is, man and his experience of the world is perfectly perfect reality. There are so many obstacles if one tries to reach non-dual destination through Advaita because of add-ons and adulteration. Therefore, Advaita is roundabout way to reach the non-dual destination. Since, the scholars are sentimentally and emotionally involved with Advaita philosophy which is based on the Vedas they will not be able to grasp the non dual truth, without bifurcating the religion, scriptures and god glorification.

  • Most thinkers’ point of view of nonduality is based on the physical self/ego. The thinker and the thought are part of the illusory duality. The individual experiences are happening within the waking experience. The waking experience itself is mirage created out of the formless consciousness, which is the innermost self. The ego/physical self and the world are part of the mirage. The ego is the false self within the false experience. Thus, the individual experiences within the waking experiences are mere mirage. Thus birth, life and death are part of the mirage.

If someone kills someone within the waking experience is as good as killing is taking place in the dream. The killer and killing and the world are one in essence. Until the ignorance is there the waking experience prevails as reality. Only when wisdom dawns the waking experience becomes unreal. The man who believes himself as a person born in this world and world existed prior to him will not be able to assimilate self-knowledge because he is unaware of the fact that, he is part and parcel of the waking experience, which is illusory reality. Thus his understanding is limited to form, time and space.

The formless witness of the three states is not the physical self/ego, but the formless soul, which is in the form of consciousness. On the standpoint of the soul as self, the three states are unreal. Thus, if someone kills someone, is reality, within the waking experience. But waking experience itself is unreal. The unreal appears and disappears as three states. The witness of the three states is unaffected and apart. To realize this truth it takes quiet a lot of mental effort. A proper and perfect understanding in this regard leads the seeking mind, towards non dual reality. The one who is able to grasp this truth is a Gnani.

  • Whatever appears and disappears is illusion [world or duality or mind or waking ]. But to what the illusion appears is hidden within the illusion , as its formless substance, and it is apart from illusion as its formless witness. It is apart because it is not an entity or identity within the illusion.

When the formless substance and the formless witness of illusion is soul or consciousness , than there is no second thing exists in illusion other then consciousness, hence it is nondual. Thus, whatever appears as real is unreal on the standpoint of the formless soul or consciousness, which is real.

The unreal is created out of real, sustained by real, finally it dissolves as real. Therefore, the real and unreal are one in essence. This conviction can be derived from deeper inquiry and reasoning. The true self itself is guru because the mithya[world] is created out of consciousness, which is real.

  • Once one becomes aware of the fact that consciousness is the true self [rope], the snake [man and world] is mere mirage. It does not disappear, but one becomes aware of the unreal nature of the snake, which never exists in reality. If the snake [world and man] does not exist in reality, then it is the rope [consciousness the innermost self] alone exists as reality. Since one views and judges the worldview on the base of ‘I’ which is the false identity, within the false experience he experiences the duality as reality, and he is unable to cross the threshold of duality.

Until and unless one makes sure of the fact that, the formless soul or consciousness is the innermost self , and learns to view and judge the worldview on the base of formless soul, as self, it is impossible to say the world is unreal and illusion. Because. World and man is unreal only on the standpoint of Ataman as self.

Thus, viewing and judging the illusion with the illusory identity and within the illusion, will not unfold the ultimate truth. Since man and his experience of the world are part of the illusion. Therefore, one has to know the fact: 'What has this illusion? in order to know what is it that prevails, without the illusion [man and the world]?. Whatever prevails without the man and world [waking or illusion] is ultimate truth or Brahman [soul or consciousness].
