REALITY OF BIRTH LIFE AND DEATH
Birth, life and death are reality until one thinks the 'I' or physical body as true self. Inquiry and reasoning revels the fact that, neither the physical body, nor the 'I', is the true self. Furthermore, the formless substance and witness of the `I', which is spirit, is the true self.
The whole experience of birth, life and death is mere illusion on the standpoint of the true self. The survival instincts and fear are reality only within the illusion.
The main purpose of this massage is to divert one's attention from the physical self, to the true self, which is spirit. The one that has the illusion is not the person, but it is the spirit. Thus, man is not the author of his own experience, because, man and his world, are within the illusion.
