The consciousness alone gives rise to the waking experience

The consciousness alone gives rise to the waking experience. The man and his experience of the world are present within the waking experience. The individual experiences such as birth, life and death, pleasure and pain are happenings within the waking experience. 

The waking entity is not the self. The waking entity(ego) is the false self within the false experience(waking) . The one, which is aware of the three states, is the formless  soul, the innermost self. the soul is present  in the form of consciousness. On the standpoint of the soul or consciousness as self all, the three states are falsehood. Thus, holding the birth entity as self and holding the world as reality leads one to imaginary hallucination based on false self. Therefore, it is necessary to realize the fact that,  the self is not the waking entity( form)  but  self is the formless  soul, in order to realize the waking experience is mere mirage created out of soul,which is in the form of consciousness. 

The religion, yoga and the entire theoretical teachings  are based on the birth entity and they limit the soul to the physical entity, whereas the soul pervades all the three states as their formless substance and witness. When one realizes the fact that the formless substance and witness is the soul(consciousness or spirit), then there will be unity in diversity.

Scriptures are being added to from time to time. This process will go on. There is the final authority among them? One contradicts the other: duality reigns supreme.

The Upanishads are self-contradictory. Every pundit even gives conflicting interpretations of them. The final authority therefore is using one’s own own reason. One should apply his reason to them.

The scriptures are for ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Gnana is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

The Scriptures are of value only when dealing with persons who are incapable of understanding truth. They have no value as authority for those who use reason. 

There was no mind is deep sleep. As soon as waking takes place the mind which contains, of a ready-made universe – including all men and creatures appears. The man – confronts universe in waking or dream. The waking or dream appears as a whole and disappears as a whole.  To examine it closely, one has to analyse the three states and trace the witness of the three states is formless and apart.

One becomes aware of the fact that, the universe or mind, which appears and disappears, is only form and shape is created out of consciousness and nothing else. The consciousness alone is positive proof and on the standpoint of the consciousness or soul as self, one becomes aware of the   falsity of this universe or mind, which is mere appearance. The one which appears as mind (universe) and disappears as no mind (soul) is consciousness alone. Therefore, the mind and soul are one in essence.

Mental analysis shows that, the existences of the formless witness, which witnesses the three states coming and going without a break. This, on closer analysis, is found to be that changeless, soul or consciousness itself.
