FORMLESS PATH :- On Non-dualistic perspective there is neither illusion nor delusion. The form, time and space are part of the duality, which is mere an illusion. There is no such delusion in the realm of Non-dualistic reality because form, time and space are one in essence. That essence is the soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The consciousness is ultimate truth or Brahman because there is no second thing exist other than consciousness.
Those who seek truth on the base of ’I’, will never be able to succeed because they are seeking truth on the base of false hood.
Non-dualistic or Advaitic Truth is neither a theory, nor speculative system of philosophy, nor intellectual insight. Non-dualistic or Advaitic Truth is exact correspondence with reality.
For Gnani, truth is the unshakeable knowledge of his real nature, the Self, which is the soul. Thus for Gnani the formless witness is ultimate reality all else is mere illusion.
The seeker has to burn down the ignorance with the fire of conviction that self is neither the waking entity nor the self is dream entity but the self is formless soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The soul is the formless substance witness of the three states (witnessed). The word witness is got by eliminating the witnessed. The man and his experience of the world are within the witnessed. Thus man cannot be considered as a witness because he is part of the illusion. The witness is the one which witnesses the man and the world together. Man is unaware of the existence of the formless witness of the three states, which comes and goes in succession.
Everyone thinks the witness is the ego but the ego body and the world are part of the witnessed. The witness is the formless soul. The formless soul is present in the form of consciousness. Soul or consciousness is the innermost self. The three states, which appears and disappears and they are impermanent. The formless soul, the witness of the three states is permanent. Thus holding the waking entity as self and trying to realize the ultimate truth leads to all sorts of doubts and confusions.
One has to analyse dual (waking and dream) and non-dual (deep sleep) experiences in order to realize the existence of the formless witness, which witnesses the coming and going of the three states. The witness is within the three states but it is without the three states. And it is also apart from the three states. It is within the three states because it is the formless substance of the three states. It is without the three states as their formless witness. And it is apart from the three stated because it is not an entity or identity within the three states. In reality the formless substance and witness are one in essence. The essence is formless soul or consciousness. Thus consciousness alone is real and eternal and all else is mere illusion.
